The guy who I spoke with, who I assume was the owner, was rude and gave me the name of a repair shop with the worst rating in Vancouver, birds of a feather,flock together. The owner told me the set was garbage, no parts, Panasonic wouldn't help me out, buy this new $4500.00 set, blah,blah,blah. Turns out that I had an email from a higher up in Panasonic that offered to pay a good portion of the repairs. When I told him that, he shut right up. Turns out I got the set repaired for $250.00 and works like new. Him and his mouthy sidekick have zero customer service skills. I love it when these businesses think they are the only option in a certain area and they can control the market. Wrong! My wife and I are buying two new sets for our new place, we now know where we won't be buying them from.

The cashier, Kimberley (transaction CC105329, 10:20:29 AM), attended me with open hostility -- no greeting, no eye contact, and concluded the interaction by physically throwing my receipt at me in a deliberate and contemptuous manner. This is not a misunderstanding or a bad day. This is a pattern of behavior I have witnessed from this employee before. A customer should never leave your store feeling disrespected and humiliated. I am formally requesting that this matter be documented, investigated, and that appropriate corrective action be taken. I have the original receipt as evidence and am prepared to escalate this complaint to London Drugs corporate and the Better Business Bureau if this is not addressed. I expect a written response confirming this has been received and acted upon.

I also found there are more local made products within the store so as to support local producers, yes, the price maybe a bit higher then national brands, but if we all chip in and help buy local, we are helping our society to recover faster! In under an hour for both shopping trips we had a new bedroom set picked out, living room furniture, dinning room furniture, bathroom storage solutions, TVs and wall art. I hate driving around to multiple locations trying to get what you need to get your house together and this was just convenient. The sales rep Ahmad that helped us was very cool and wasn't one of those pushy sales people. I wish I remembered the name of the lady that helped us the second time around, she was awesome as well. It is a great local place to go to if you are a starting hobbyist looking for electronic parts or just someone who need parts for random things. The first time I went to the place it was packed with people from hobbyist, students studying electronics and needed parts to general people requiring parts for an elevator. The place is not big, but it is packed with a lot of things related to electronics. Staff is super nice and helpful in finding you the things you need. I like that they don't try to sell you what you don't need or make you buy a higher price item. If they can't find it, they can order. Price is a bit higher, but this is the place if you are not buying bulk order and don't want the hassle of shipping. There is side street parking which is free. They have a website that you can browse and shop items by categories. The website also has tutorial on starter and intermediate projects that the staff has done, which is cool! This store is a electronic store but also sells appliances as well. It's essentially a smaller…read moreversion of Best Buy. The employees here tend to be friendly enough. Good thing about this store is that they constantly have discounts on many accessories and have it be displayed at front. Over the past year or so, I've gotten a pretty legit wired gaming headphone for $18 + sales tax. I recommend going after iConnect one for that price as this is very solid for what it is and it feels like it should be worth double this (or at least audio wise, it's hard to beat this one). Haven't really fully tested the microphone yet but I wouldn't be surprised if it's at least somewhat modest where it works, but won't be able to beat a $100 pair, but just that it does the job. Would I suggest this store? Sure, if you're just here to pick up a random pair of headphones or other accessories where the prices are either decent to competitive, or if they were having one of the more rare but really good deals on something and this store happens to have it. The only major gripe I have is that you need to be very careful with some of the products you buy here (or at least the ones that is having a major discounts as they may be on a major discount for a reason) because some of them either will work well OR will only work for a short while before it breaks OR is a total dud where the item doesn't even turn on. And some of these items there's no 100% you can even return it because either there weren't any return policy OR you might've just missed it because it malfunction or broke right around the same time the policy ended. Point is that if you're planning to buy any of the cheapest tech they have on sale, best to buy it with a grain of salt as it is hit or miss. Only reason why I am giving this place more then 1 star is because I scored a very decent pair of headphone from these guys for $18 that does have a pretty decent audio while playing on my PS4 and other consoles. It feels and sounds like it should be worth $30~$35.
