I also found there are more local made products within the store so as to support local producers, yes, the price maybe a bit higher then national brands, but if we all chip in and help buy local, we are helping our society to recover faster! But William made the effort to pose questions and ensured I actually had the proper equipment for the job--he knew his stuff. It turns out, I was short on some things I hadn't considered, so he certainly saved me an additional trip or two. That standard of care and genuine customer service leaves a lasting impression. He didn't regard me like just another face in line. He confirmed I got all that I needed before I went. Got the run-around - they were sending me a link where I was to send in a video of the door not closing (seriously?). They got my email address wrong. Finally straightened that out, and was dealing with a different person. Sent photo and video then, a week and a half later, finally received an email from the manufacturer on Friday asking me to phone and confirm an appointment for Monday (today). They're closed all weekend so couldn't phone to confirm but I set aside the day to wait around. Phoned the number this morning and was given another song and dance about how this isn't an appointment. Sure sounds like it was, as the email from the manufacturer says, "calI to confirm the appointment date and time". Now I wait, again, for a call with a confirmed appointment. Sure glad this isn't a fridge or freezer with a door that doesn't shut. Haven't heard squat from our salesperson - how about a follow-up call after delivery to see how things are going? Trail Appliances has washed their hands of us - handed us to an applicance repair company in town and to the manufacturer of our appliance who can't seem to coordinate things before contacting us.
