I like getting things used and the office furniture place nearby recommended action. They had exactly what I needed! However, when I brought the printer home I needed the admin information. I called Action computers to see if they could help me, and at first they said they didn't do printer services and that they couldn't contact who they got it from to get the admin info. I was pretty upset - why sell printers if you can't help? But then I got in touch with Jeff who cleared up that misunderstanding and they definitely do help with printers! Their tech was able to configure it to do a factory reset and have it print wirelessly. When I get it back home they can also remote in and help me if I can't get it set up on the network right. Amazing! I had contacted another printer agency that wanted to charge me $37.80 for every 15 minutes to help me - action computer folks are far more friendly and affordable. They really do care. I brought in some of my kids' old laptops and they bought a few abs recycled the others. I'm so glad I have a reliable tech place to get equipment and troubleshoot now that I work from home full time and don't have a tech department, I have to do everything myself, and I can, with action computer's help!! Now in December 2025 the machine stopped working. It has a 10-year warranty so I called GE for service. I was told I would have to pay a trip charge of $115. When the tech arrived, I was told that the 10-year warranty only applied to the motor. The motherboard had malfunctioned on my machine, not the motor. Now that would cost $360. The motherboard I purchased has a 5-year warranty and 30-day service warranty. He said that he s driving for over two hours and I told him we were ~50 miles away I told him I could afford his diagnostic fee through the shell messager and that I did not expect him to not request this but that I do not carry that much cash and I offered him as much cash as I had to begin the job but they the rest he requested ($300+) would have to come from my care providers office and that I might not chose to negotiate any more with out them my handy capable condition has insisted that I might not be in full mental faculties to handle heated negotiations over money but that it is healthy to have interactions with business to get better I assured him that I worked give him 2 bags to take my machine but that I would like to have a buisness card or documentation that I had left him the machine with a little bit of an idea on the amont for his hours of labor.
