They advertised this program as a program that helps you land the job you want, however it just turned out to be another generic job-readiness program that just puts you in whatever job they have available rather than what career you want and what your background is actually is. With the high-energy entrepreneurial people running the program, you would think they would have stronger career advice to give and be able to help you with a more individualized approach, but unfortunately they do not. The training class was pretty fun and engaging for the most part, and the teacher Cedric was a great speaker. However, what I had an issue with was how a huge percentage of the class was spent training us on warehouse safety and how to use a forklift. I'm sure that's great for people who actually want to work in a warehouse, but for everyone else it's a waste of time (so my recommendation is for them to hold the forklift training during a different time for the people who want it). I know for a fact that I'm never in a million years going to work a blue-collar job. I found it a bit insulting, because they get a lot of people signed up for the program from homeless shelters, rehab clinics, and those previously incarcerated, so it came across like they were talking down to us and assuming warehouse work is the only thing we would be qualified for or willing to do. And from my experience, warehouse jobs are pretty in-demand and they hire pretty much anyone desperate for a job. My feedback for this program would be to stick to their word about helping us land in the career we like, and do a better job meeting everyone where they're at in their career.

This guy knows his stuff. I knew it the second I walked into his shop. Some people just give off a…read moregood vibe. I have newer - u-turn audio - turn table that wasn't producing sound out of the left speaker. Not usually the kind of thing he works on, but Dr. Dan agreed to check it out anyway. I spent about an hour with him in his shop, surrounded by pugs, chopping it up sharing stories, while he troubleshooted the issue. After a few tests, he figured out what was happening, recommended I buy a $20 preamp to fix it, then sent me on my way with a handshake and a smile. It was quite the enjoyable experience. You can tell he cares about what he does, that he takes pride in his work, and is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to vintage audio equipment. *He's also a man that enjoys a good story, so if you have one, come prepared to share.* I personally value vinyl. It's a beautiful analogue tech that produces sound using magnets and emf's translated from a needle cruising on plastic. It's crazy to me that someone had the idea for it, let alone that it actually works. Yet it remains. Not for the nostalgia or efficiency; but for the warmth of the sound, for the collectibility and sense of ownership, for the love of music. I was looking for someone who held a similar sentiment. You wouldn't want someone who hates cars to be your mechanic. I decided to call Dr. Dan after reading some reviews, in which pretty much everyone suggests he the best. To that point, all I can say is, they were all right.

I have a McIntosh C28 preamp and a McIntosh MC 2105 amp. Between working overseas and moving, neither had been powered up for some time and had been on a shelf in the garage. I wanted to set them up again, but before I powered them up, I wanted them cleaned and checked out. I contacted Dan and got an estimate, then dropped off the amps on Dec 31st for what was promised to be a two-week job. On January 14, he called me to tell me they weren't done. He texted me some photos of what he was doing and said it would be another week or two. After that, I heard nothing. I texted for updates but received no responses in return. On Feb 20, I texted again and said we would be in Denver the next day and asked if they were ready as I would be out of the state after that. He said he would only be there in the morning during the time I would be at a powerlifting meet. I asked for confirmation that they were ready and I could pick them up a couple of times after that. Finally, he responded when I said I was out of the country, but my wife would be in Denver on March 21st. I asked for the price and confirmation of the address. There was no response. I asked twice more before I got those, and he specified cash or check only. When my wife got there, he called me in Ireland and started berating me, telling me he was so popular, everybody loved him, and I was disrespecting him. I was quite surprised, and I asked him how. He said I texted him instead of calling. (For the record, I have hearing loss from thirty years in the Marines, and I prefer texting, especially when I need specific like costs or addresses. Also, at least twice, I called and left messages which were never returned.) He then actually yelled at me over the phone, saying my amps were too big and took up too much time in his shop. There was more, and I bit my tongue as I just wanted my amp. When my wife went to pay with a check, he demanded cash. She contacted me, and I sent him back the text where he said checks. My wife picked them up, but he did not put the amp back in the case. When I returned, I tried to do it myself, but so far, I've failed. I called him but got an answering machine. He did call me back, but to berate me again, saying he was angry on the 21st and he was still angry. Once again, I bit my tongue as I wanted my amp working. He told me he didn't put it back like I brought it because it had been difficult to take out in the first place. He told me to push the releases on the front and find the clasps on the back, and when I told him I couldn't see anything, he said find a YouTube video. Then there was more beratement, most along the lines that he doesn't have time to respond to texts, he is too popular and everyone loves him, he is anal about his work, I don't know anything about amps (true, which is why I hired him), how no other service provider uses text messages, he complained that he didn't know my wife (whom he met along with our seven-year-old identical twins when I dropped off the amps), and how it's all my fault because I wasn't calling him all the time. Then, when he repeated that he was angry at me, I said it was mutual. At that point, we had a minute or two of back and forth until I said this was getting us nowhere and hung up. As I noted above, it is possible that Dan is a wizard with the tech. But I received no invoice to know what was done, the amps were not cleaned, and as far as I know, only three components were exchanged on the preamp. But most of all, I have never in my life been treated like that by a vendor of any kind. I have never been scolded like a five-year-old child. I can not recommend "Doctor" Dan for any kind of service.

I have been asked to manage a warehouse at a business that I've been employed at for a long time. First order of business was to get rid of all the old stuff that wasn't being used or hadn't been used in the last 2 to 3 years. This included several pallets of electronics that didn't work or were outdated. A search for someone that would take these things is how I came to P C Consulting. They accepted all computers and their components, phone systems, printers, scanners, and other electronic equipment we had collected. They do not take TV's, but they told me that up front. I also have a Surface Pro 7 that I needed a screen replaced on. I had taken it to 4 other places trying to get it repaired. I was told that it couldn't be repaired or that they wouldn't be responsible if it didn't work if they tried to replace it. Not PC Consulting. When I asked them about it. They told me to bring it in so they could look at it. I brought it with me with the next load of old electronics I was dropping off. Mike looked at it and said it was definitely repairable. He said he would order the screen and call me when it came in. A week later he called. We scheduled the repair. I dropped it of at noon and picked it up at noon the next day. How do you find out if you're dealing with a good company, when there's a problem! When things go perfectly, well any company can "look good", but how do they handle situations that inevitably come up...that's the acid test. I've been a customer for over 10 years and just now bought another computer (refurbished) and yes there were problems. Problems that come up 3% of the time that no one could've foreseen and yes it was frustrating, but Scott, Paul, James and Robert first of all communicated with me about what happened and what we can do about it. The computer I bought seemed to have a bad hard drive, but they went the extra mile to figure out some updates needed to be performed and were able to get my refurbished computer working better than ever. Bottom line is, unforeseen situations come up and how the company handles it shows you whether they have character and really care about their customers. This is being written by the only senior with disabilities who has never owned a lap top...until now. I retired when the computer was just being created, so I am totally computer illiterate. After using the lap top for the simplest of connections i.e.email, search, etc., successfully (!), I recently encountered severe problems. It was recommended by the manufacturer that I contact ONSITE CONSULTING. This could have been the test of "complications" in my life, but it was everything but! My husband and I have used Onsite Consulting for a number of years now. They have helped us with our desktop computers and our laptops too, both in their shop and using their remote services. We have worked with several of their technicians, all of whom have helped us with a variety of tasks and problems. All are professionally competent, thorough, yet efficient. I am so much thankful for Scott and his team to help me repair laptop at such a very short notice. Excellent work and most of all is very friendly and reasonable price. I also ended up purchasing a laptop that works also very well in the very attractive price as my spare right in time when I just needed one. I have been using Onsite Consulting for 5 years. I am a person who has MINIMAL knowledge of computers. The first time I met Scott Henke, the owner, I was in the market to buy a new computer (my old one was on its last legs), I had no idea what I was doing and was terrified. After 15 minutes talking with Scott, I knew I was in the right place. He asked me what my computer needs were, gave me a detailed list of what to purchase, and scheduled an appointment to have the computer installed and my data transferred. Michael was fantastic. He made a house call to work on my iMac, HP printer and cleaned up a mess on my iPhone. Michael fixed problems and patiently answered questions. No question was too dumb. When the printer started to have hiccups again, Michael returned the following day to check things out. Before he arrived however, I tried some technical fixes I'd learned from him the day before. That, combined with work he had done the day before, the printer was working fine again when he got here. He charged me nothing for the follow-up house call. Unbelievable! Not only had he taught me and shared his knowledge, he did not charge me when he returned the second day and found nothing wrong. Scott has been my computer guru for more than 20 years--he battled the phone company for me and told them it was their broad band, not my computer, that needed to be fixed. (Turns out the squirrel's nest in the box was the prob. Saved me bundles.) Since then Scott and his band of merry technophiles have installed three or four new computers for us, fixed numerous problems, and counseled us online so we didn't have to drag my husband's laptop or my old tower in to their shop. They also let me visit with my grandchildren and not sit in shame while the kids mess with my computer! And they are SO much less expensive than the ever-changing Geek Squad! Great people and really responsive service! I highly recommend them! All the staff I've worked with have been patient, helpful and skilled. They can come to your house or business or work with you via a remote session, or you can bring in your computer to work with them one on one if you need instruction or explanations, or you can just drop it off. Prices are definitely reasonable. They seem to be able to tackle most any kind of problem, and I've had certainly a variety of issues on three computers over the last couple of years. They can also transfer all data and programs from an old computer to a new one and make sure everything is working right. I love that they aren't part of a chain! read more

Having used their excellent services on many computers for over 15 years, they have fixed problems large and small and kept me online with my work computer and our personal computers. During this time we have had in-house service calls, computer repairs done in their shop, and we have purchased one of their refurbished laptops. We have been using Onsite Consulting for the past 15 years. Starting out by attending their training sessions and appreciated the knowledge Scott and company brought to us so that using the computer tips and safeguards were much easier to understand for the non geek person. Always willing to share technical information and keep us informed and safe while using the computer and on-line programs. Excellent staff and office workers. Yelp and Onsite Consulting for the win! I'm so glad I stopped in on Saturday to get help. My four-year old Macbook was doing everyone slowly (damn that rainbow spinning wheel!) and Robert took a lot of time to diagnose and do what he could to correct it, all without selling me anything. I immediately got the sense that he was trustworthy and knew what he was doing. In the end I upgraded my RAM, he installed it in 5 minutes, and because of a few other things he did, my Mac is running like butter. I was lucky enough to find Scott & Onsite many years ago and have been a faithful customer ever since even though I have moved far away. Their ability to work on your computer software issues, viruses, etc. remotely, plus managed care services make my life so much easier. Technology is to hard to keep up with anymore at my age and having the insurance of Managed Care to monitor my computer is wonderful! Everyone is very nice, helpful and seems able to juggle their customers to get you the help you need very timely despite their ever growing customer base. They are simply the best. read more

I'm always motivated to support small businesses and more times than not one is rewarded with excellent services and personal attention. This couldn't be more true for Online Consulting. Their goal is to have your problems fixed within 48 hours-----trying getting that type of service at Micro Center or Geek Squad; my computer was fixed in about 36 hours. I have been a customer of Onsite Consulting for years. During that time the Onsite staff has provided excellent support for both my business and personal computers. The service is in a class by itself. At first I was overwhelmed but after a while I took it for granted. I guess taking the service for granted is another way of saying I had complete confidence that any computer problem would be solved. No loss sleep here over a computer problem. We have used Onsite Consulting since 2014 and are so happy they were there for us then and continue to be. We live in Colorado Springs and when we have computer problems they are quick to respond and remotely take care of our concerns right away. We have used Onsite Consulting for over 20 years! They have helped us on so many things. Set ups for new computers, laptops, tablets, printers, sotware, you name it! Helped us with an ordinary computer for my wife and a high tech, fast one for music recording for me. they often give advice and tips for free. Great classes on different topics. Their prices are reasonable and fair. they stand behind their work 100%. They are easy going folks. I could not imagine dealing with tech without their help.
