Lewan in itself is not too bad, but now that they have merged with Xerox, their financing is the worst! We were assured by the salesperson that we did not have to pay the interim lease payment, but 6 months later, they still continue to charge us for it. No one at Xerox Financial or Lewan is willing to look into this. Xerox Financial refers us to Lewan. Lewan says they have nothing to do with financing. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! It's really a shame because Lewan used to be great. read more

I've called in 2x for VPN help and each time they have solved the problem very fast.

They love to sell you the copier or whatever but after that there is no service. They put in our contract that all supplies are included in the contract for this copier. They try billing for the supplies; toner, etc.. and it takes forever to get it off your account, if you ever do. It took 2 months to get a waste toner because no one at Lewan knew what it was. We go toner and other supplies, we didn't need, but the waste toner was full and the copier didn't work for over 7 weeks. Yet I still have to pay my $376.00 monthly for a copier that doesn't work. No one in customer service can help you, you get hung up on over and over again. It may take you 7-10 calls to get someone who can help. Most of their agents have very poor English skills, but what does Lewan care when they just want to sell, NOT SERVICE your equipment. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with and you can't get rid of them. It's awful, stay far away if you can. read more

Please do not use this company for your copier or supply company. I leased a machine from them when they were just Lewan and not Xerox and they were great. However once they transitioned the average wait time to even order supplies is 60 minutes on hold. When you do get someone they are clearly working at home with a loud TV or people in the background. I am counting the days down until my lease is up so I can go somewhere else. DO NOT USE THIS DISASTER OF A COMPANY!!!!! read more

Lewan might be growing too fast and losing their interest in selling and servicing smaller companies. After purchasing a printer, we had to call and/or meet with seven different people multiple times for over a week. And we had five people involved on our end with over 20hrs combined, all for a simple desktop printer installation. Quotes were inaccurate, timelines were not honored, training didn't happen as promised, people promised to respond and instead shoveled the call back over to people who had already proven non-responsive (which is why we were calling others), and promised refunds were not confirmed. Basic communications expectations were not met in any area. The one thing they paid close attention to was getting our credit card for monthly billing. That seemed very important. Sometimes companies with great previous reputations get lazy or just too busy, or re-focused on a different market. I'm guessing Lewan has moved up the food chain and is focused on very large corporations but hasn't yet cut the chord to smaller businesses where they continue to make good revenue for the moment. If you are a bigger company you'll probably continue to get the stellar service Lewan used to be known for. But if your under a million or so in revenue, you might want to look around. Maybe our experience was unusual, but if you choose to go with Lewan, it's possible you'll be a very small and insignificant fish in a very large pond. read more

Account rep and his boss came to apologize. They sent a fruit basket. I appreciate their gestures but having to deal with the same obnoxious rep twice put me over the edge. I don't think someone who thinks he's superior to others should be in the service industry. And he never apologized the second time he came. read more

David Hamby was at our location this morning. He is always very professional and friendly and does a great job. He inspects the whole copier, cleans it, and communicates to us what he did. Our office in New Mexico contracted with Lewan for a Xerox Copier. Lots of promises made that it would be a great fit for our business. In the end, they seriously overpromised and massively underdelivered. It worked OK for a little while, then we started having consistent problems. Each time it was a struggle to get them addressed. There was a very helpful tech out of Denver who would help if I contacted him directly, but the general response was to blame our "network" or "something we did" and to try to charge us because it "wasn't covered by our contract". It never turned out to be our network or anything else on our end. Many problems with scanning and faxing particularly. After about 2 years or more, they acknowledged that there indeed was a problem with the hardware. The solution? Make US pay thousands of dollars to add a Fiery. Worked better for a while, but eventually we started to have driver issues and more scanner problems. Apparently, we could expect no further updates and no solutions if it stopped working as the machine was "out of date and no longer really supported" even though we were still well within out contract. Absolutely horrific customer support from management. We've now thankfully moved on to someone better (it's a low bar) who could buy out the rest of our contract. Pros? Our regular maintenance tech was truly fantastic. One tech support guy out of Denver was great. read more

Lewan became our contracted placement, repair and maintenance Co. for copiers, having won the current bid for our large operation's business. Multiple departments were affected by a centralized purchasing decision. Individual departments didn't have the opportunity to familiarize with equipment and services prior to implementation and there was no rapport as there had been with the previous Co.'s technician. It was challenging for me at first but once I became familiar with the LeWan help desk and having relevant machine info in-hand and got comfortable trouble shooting on-site if needed, I've had consistently great experiences with Lewan and received impeccable service from our technician, Christian. read more

So great to finally throw out my old technology company who we lost us in the mix, I barely have to wait an hour for a response now. These guys are on top of their game! Very disappointing IT service. We had Lewan for years and they were very good and responsive. After they were acquired by Xerox, that all changed. They installed 3 Cisco Meraki routers in our office and we had many problems with these devices. They never could resolve the problems, even after sending out numerous technicians. Then, finally, they discovered that our annual maintenance contract with Meraki had expired and that, this had not been renewed BECAUSE the tech who set the devices up used his own LEWAN email address as the email address for renewal of the contract, so we never got any notice. Gee, seems like the problem was caused by Lewan, not us, yet they wanted to bill us for the time the techs came out to scratch their heads and tell us they had "no idea what was wrong or how to fix it." Something a customer always wants to hear! When we refused to pay the $525 bill, they terminated our service and left us high and dry without any way to fix the problem or even who to call to do so. I would say, one star for this company is GENEROUS! I could not in good conscience ever recommend them to anyone looking for a computer, copier, or IT company. Sorry Lewan, this kind of service is outrageous!!! read more
