I have an old iPhone that had a battery that needed to be replaced (it was just under 6 years old…read moreby that time). I came back when they asked me to (they had staffing shortages when I first went there), and after an inspection appointment they scheduled me for a repair appointment very soon after. Apple's website quoted the repair at $89 or $99, and then the person checking me out hit Enter and could not tell me why the price had gone down to $75, no coupons or store credit that I was aware of, and I was not going to argue or ask too many questions. They also said that they just happened to have my part in stock at the store, so no further waiting. I signed the paperwork and was given a quote of 2.5 hours for the repair. They called me after about 2 hours and said my phone was ready. I get there and they said that everything was fine, but the old screen came apart during the repair, and because it was their fault, they covered the $230 parts and labor bill for a new screen. They also said that that just happens sometimes with new phones. So a new battery and screen for under a month's service is not too shabby. Hopefully the phone serves me well for another 2 years until I'm finished with school and get a higher-paying job.

We went to several shops to inquire about a new computer and the workers talked WAY over our heads and tried to pressure us to go with their business on the spot and immediately pay on the spot with our credit card. We informed them that we were not ready to make such a quick decision and instead preferred to do more research ourselves. We discovered MicroAZ and met with Au ("Al") Nguyen. Al was very polite and listened intently to our questions and concerns. He also asked us what we would be using our computer for so as to get a perfect fit for us. Al spoke with us on layman's terms and did not talk over our heads in super tech talk. Al recommended several affordable and good brand computers, plus he said he could even build one for us, but again there was no pressure to go one way or the other. He encouraged us to look around and make our own decision. After visiting several computer shops, we found a computer which we felt would meet our needs. We took a picture of it and the description of it and asked for his opinion. He told us we had selected a very good computer that would last us many years. We brought the new computer to Al and he transferred our info from the old computer and had us test it out before we took it home. After that, we discovered our printer was too slow for our new computer. Again, we talked with Al. We found a good printer and Al hooked it up for us and made sure we were happy. In short, Al is an excellent, knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful computer expert. He is definitely hidden secret in a high tech world!

When I first walked in, Mike immediately discovered that my charging cord was damaged and recommended that I simply replace it, which I did. About a week later, my phone stopped charging through the port again, although it would still charge on the magnetic charger. I was worried that the charging port itself might need to be replaced. I called Nerdy Neighbor, and Mike told me to come in when he was working because he already knew the history of my phone. He also asked me to bring everything I normally use to charge it, including my charging stand. When I came back, Mike quickly discovered another tiny rock lodged inside my charging port! He removed it immediately, got everything working again, and didn't charge me a dime. I truly appreciate Mike's honesty, knowledge, and excellent customer service. This company did excellent work on both our computers for an excellent price, about $250 each - and that included the owner (Greg Eddolls) coming to our house to connect my computer to the Wi-Fi.
