I just read Chris.S's review based on technician named Igor. First problem that Chris did is reading the forums online, literally anyone can write anything they want online on everything, but they main question is, have they encountered that issue or have they experienced that issues. Anyone can bullshit on anything or anyone. I have been in business management for 36 years, you can say that I know how business works. and let me explain this to Chris. S. I have a Samsung dryer and a Samsung Refrigerator, dryer would not heat, and the refrigerator had issues with the ice maker. I, as a customer to Samsung, was Out Of Warranty just like Chris. S. I spoke with Rachel from Tekniton, explaining that "do to me being out of warranty, there is a labor charge of $150 plus the parts that fixes the issue. I agreed... Moving forward. 3 days later, I had Igor as my technician. Igor contacted me 35 minutes prior his arrival, he informed me at what time he will be there. he also asked me that if i'm aware that i'm out of warranty. Once he got to my house, he presented himself very very very professionally, telling me who he is, what company he is from, and what he is here for. Once he walked in my house, he placed his shoe covers on, even thought I personally asked him not to. But he stated that It's the company's policy. I informed of the situations that I was having With my dryer and refrigerator... Remember, Both units out of warranty... Igor took a look to see what is going on. he tested everything and made a few calls, not sure to who, but, I wasn't going to get involved in that. Then, he explained everything that he needed to do, and each step that he had to do and how much it would cost. Igor, as a Samsung technician, went above and beyond to make both units to work. he even contacted his own manager to give me a discount on the labor because I owned to units that needs to be repaired. And I was happy to pay what I had to pay. So Chris. S, I can NOT speak for the other technicians, But I can Speak for Igor. Igor follows the rule book. You are lucky that he only charged you $100 for the service call because that is what you agreed on when your appointment was scheduled. Not all companies work like Samsung, Different companies, different policies. If Samsung does not provide the "LED STRIPS" for your T.V and they have to order the whole thing, then they have to order the whole thing. I know how contracts work, If you order the parts from a different company other then the company contract you have, that violate the contract and you lose the contract. Fair and Simple. Chris. S you should be happy that you only paid $250 for the LED STRIPS and not $1147.58, but remember that company that you went with, they could of ordered you off market parts, but Igor came with parts that had "Samsung" logo on them, which means that they are original parts. If you are trying to Shame Igor and their company, You need to have a real reason, charging you only $100 for the service call that you agreed on, is not a real reason... You should be ashamed of yourself. You are lucky that they didn't refuse your service... I would rather have Igor come out to repair all my units in or out of warranty, because I trust him and he is 100% forward with me read more

Called this company to service our television Samsung it had stopped working. Technician called on Monday said he was 15 minutes away . He kept asking if the tv was off the wall I assumed it was because we had to cancel to get it off the wall for them first time. I told him yes it was . He showed up refused to work on the television because we have to small cocker spaniels. I asked him in he refused he said I needed to lock them up before he came in that he doesn't like barking dogs . What a joke your a grown man . And not mention a guest in our home that you are being paid extra to come to! So he left with our parts. I called their office the girl said oh well he doesn't have to come in if the are dogs! I asked for her Manager she hung up on me. Poor Service all the way around. I drove to their office and I spoke with the owner. I guess me always being at my office. I am not used to people coming to our house for repairs. As this is a common practice to put them dogs away in a room before service people come into your home. As I was explained to by my family as well. So the owner and I shook hands they will be out tomorrow morning to handle the repairs as requested. I am Happy with that out come! So I am giving them 5 stars for handling the problem and still providing the service we need. Thank You read more

Chris. S, You clearly don't know how businesses work... I had Igor as a technician back in December, worked on my T.V as well. same issue as well. Igor even contacted Samsung to troubleshoot my tv. same exact issue!!! and I asked the same question about the light bulb and "LED" whatever they are called... Igor asked the Samsung technical support about it, and they clearly told Igor that Samsung does not provide those parts separately, and I heard this conversation because Igor placed them on speaker, and that they told Igor that they had to order the whole screen which is the panel. I agree with Tom M. If you don't follow the companies policy, you will lose the contract. And Igor clearly followed the rule book just like Tom M. explained. You are crying over $100 service call that you agreed on? I've contacted Igor twice this past month of January, telling him that some of my friends are having issues with some of the units, and guess what? Igor has been straight forward with me, telling me if it's worth repairing or not. Shameful Chris. S shameful! read more

I was referred to Tekniton by one of my neighbors and I'd like to say that this company has been an absolute joy to work with. From setting up a repair appointment to the time the tech left my house they have provided excellent service and a plethora of info about how my unit operates! I spoke with the tech a bit about why their reviews are so poor on here, and he mentioned that a small percent of customers actually make the effort to type out a review when they are happy with their repair, but anytime someone is unhappy they're very quick to posting on social media and review sites. So I wanted to make it a point to emphasize how AWESOME Tekniton has been as well as their technician Chris! Highly recommend! read more

worst customer service I have ever experienced. There is a woman named Victoria and I think is now sabotaging my appointment. It's been a month almost and my refrigerator is still making a racket and now is leaking on my newly installed hardwood floor. She really doesn't care. I have complained to Samsung and hope somehow this will get resolved. I have never written a yelp review before and I hope I never have to use these people again. I was worried when I saw some of the reviews, but I was very happy/satisfied with all interaction with the Tekniton team here in the Charlotte area! I have a Samsung Refrigerator with the "Icemaker Problem" ... I called Samsung and they agreed to fix at no cost and hooked me up with Tekniton (704-846-0111). I called and talked with Rachell to confirm my appointment ... She was very nice and responsive to my questions etc. Two days later David (Their Tech) called me to say he was on the way. David was prompt, courteous and was in and out in under an hour. The whole experience was very positive!! read more

Well, I just had Zacharia from Tekniton out to fix my Sansung washer and after just a few seconds he knew that it was not the motor and would cost more to fix than to replace. I could not have asked for a better tech and I will have no problems using this company again. Zacharia was friendly and told me a few things that will help me in purchasing the next washer. You never want to hear that you have to buy a new one when the original one is only a few years old but with Zacharia's help I am sure to get a better washer this time. Although the tech came and was not able to fix the unit the first time (due to the issue Samsung told them was something different) he scheduled me very fast again and had the part and took care of me 3 days later. My dishwasher was making loud noise but now the issue is resolved thanks to Zac and his honesty about having to order the right part. He was very fast and easy at explaining the issue to me. They were fantastic in repairing my Samsung dryer. l was prepared to have to replace this six year old unit, but lgor arrived on time, ran the diagnostics,and quickly assessed it as an $11 thermostat! He had it up in going in less than 30 minutes! The labor charge was reasonable and l gladly paid the invoice! My only suggestion would be for Samsung to advertise Tekniton services more strongly. lgor is an asset to his company and a great advertisement for Samsung products. l highly recommend this company for anyone's appliance repairs. read more

Very please with the service performed on my Samsung washer. My tech knew exactly what was going on and explained it very thoroughly to me. Their phone lines kind of suck - waited on hold for quite a while but emailing them really helped with getting myself scheduled faster (only reason I took off a star). Overall, I'm very happy with the service I got - my unit works perfectly! Tekniton also offers their own 90 day warranty so that if the issue were to reoccur,since I'm out of warranty, I wouldn't be charged so that's a plus! read more

I have had great experiences with Tekniton. I have used them about 5 times over the last years. Teo has been the engineer that has come to my home each time. I cannot say enough good about him he is knowledgeable, courteous, and patient. He goes over and above with his service and even did a follow up call before he left the area to make sure my washing machine was not having issues. Teodor T. is the reason for the 5 stars! He was professional, responsive via text, and completely thorough. He wore a mask throughout, had boot covers (Which I told him he did not have to use)... he replaced my washer top in a matter of minutes and performed the recall notice fast. Teo (the service technician) showed up during the time frame promised. He went right to work and was able to limit the work to a small part and fix it in 20 minutes. having just moved from the west coast, my washer stopped functioning as it should. I had tekniton come out and they were able to get my washer running like it should. i had two techs out since they had to come out twice with different parts and both of them were very great at communicating with me exactly what was going on. they definitely don't compare to the other tekniton locations that are on yelp read more

We had a very good experience with Tekniton, and in particular with technician, Brooks L. Our Samsung dishwasher needed repair under factory warantee. Brooks took the appropriate amount of time to disassemble and thoroughly inspect and clean the parts suspected of causing the problem. He explained that if he took the time in the first place he wouldn't have to do the job again! read more
