Their service: impeccable. Super friendly. Had a chair at my home office that needed a little TLC and they helped me out for an affordable rate! Dave is the man and showed me around the showroom. They have a selection that is definitely worth checking out, including this cool little guy. Stop by when you're near Japan town SJ!

Awesome place to get a standing desk! David was incredibly knowledgeable and really vouched for the products that he recommended. I got both the HAT and AMQ bases with 60 inch Maple and Arctic Frost tabletops, and I couldn't be any more pleased than I am now. Rudy and Beto assisted with the delivery, and were gracious enough to disassemble and reassemble once finding out my stairwell was too narrow. I greatly appreciated their help with it, as well as showing me how to troubleshoot and take apart if I ever needed it. I'll be back in the future for a chair :)

Was in the market for a standing desk and wanted to obtain one with a 60x30 top with the fastest shipping time available. Called tekbenches and spoke with Rudy over the phone regarding availability for the HAT 3 base and desk. Rudy was extremely helpful in providing information over the phone about the HAT 3 desk and delivery times in general. Additionally, I was able to place my order and have the desk delivered in the same day straight to my office room by Rudy and Mariano. By far some of the most excellent customer service I have ever received. The desk itself is fantastic and exceeds my expectations. The motor is quiet yet strong enough to go up or down very easily. The top is sturdy and solid wood. I encourage anyone in the market for a standing desk to check out tekbenches. They offer superb services and products at a VERY reasonable price point. Thank you tekbenches.

Both David & RJ are exceptional individuals. They are exactly the type of businessmen whom I enjoy working with. I had purchased a Herman Miller used desk from out of state and had it shipped to my office. I purchased a used Herman Miller Aeron 2023 chair, Herman Miller Renew sit to stand 70" desk along with (2) leather guest chairs and other items directly from Tekbenches. I requested their assistance with configuring the out of state desk. They arrived to the office with all of the their items that I purchased in the quality and condition that was advertised and agreed upon. They also brought along an additional hand a cart with their tools and cleaning supplies. The used desk that had arrived from out of state had a lot of smudges and marks that I was concerned about the overall appearance. They took proactive measures to clean the desk, legs, sides and the bottom components that often are over looked. It just looks better than I could have hoped for. They were familiar with working with the Herman Miller furniture that they configured the office in a manner that would work comfortably for me. As a rookie in the pre-used furniture market place would have not know to look out for and set up the room in an incorrect manner. I am so glad that I chose to choose these individuals that went above and beyond for me. Just an ultimate pleasure to work with.

I was looking to purchase a stand up desk for my home office and David was awesome with his help. He was able to explain what was available and differences between the models. I ended up getting 72 inch stand up desk that I LOVE. Desk has been working great, qualify is very high and my desk just looks awesome. I could not have been happier. If you're in need of a new desk or chair...David at TekBenches is your man. Highly recommend it!!!

Was looking for a new home office set up and came across this place from a post on craigslist. I'll admit one of the things that turned me off from this place was that their post had dozens of Aeron chairs, Steelcase chairs, etc; but when you contact them, they said they are sold out of Aerons. I ended up calling them and going in on almost a whim, expecting to walk away with a Steelcase Think v2. I walked away with an Aeron (I got lucky apparently) and an amazing standing desk. The visit: You should call and make an appointment. When you show up, they require a mask and have ample amounts of hand sanitizer for you to use. The chairs are stored in the back and the desks up front from the "show room". The whole business is a warehouse with half being the showroom and the other half being where they service their incoming stock. While I was there, it was apparent that two people are running the front end. They were doing their best to get everyone in/out the door. I spent over an hour here watching them get a dozen online orders set up and out the door and take care of 4 walk ins. I would sometimes be annoyed with the amount of time I was there, but they were extremely apologetic for the time spent waiting and offered me soda and water multiple times. The purchase: As mentioned, I bought a desk and a chair. Both were used but were in pristine condition. The desk was a used Kesselbohmer frame with a new laminate top. The desk was rock solid at the highest level of elevation which sold me in a heartbeat. The chair was an Aeron. Nothing special about it. It was in great condition and they order new foam pads and install them in every chair. Both cost me about $900 out the door. The service: When I walked up, I simply asked if they had an Aeron I could sit in to see what it was like. They said they'd have to check and about 20 minutes later, the guy came out with a huge smile saying "I got you!" After looking at Think v2's and then sitting in the Aeron, I was sold... or at least the chair was. He inspected the chair incredibly closely before wrapping it up and setting it aside for me. They wrap all chairs in a huge plastic bag to protect it from dust and some damage, not a custom foam package, but hey. It's effective. Onto the desk! They were busy helping another person who got there before I did. Again, spent over an hour not because it was slow, but because they were doing everything they could to make sure every customer was taken care of. The guy before me got the same desk as I did and they assembled the desk to his liking, helped him load it in his car with cardboard for cushioning and he was on his way. I knew I couldn't bring the desk home in one piece or bring it up stairs in my house. They showed me how to take the desk legs off and assemble it to make sure I would be okay. When I finally decided on the desk, they assembled the desk and then tested it to make sure it was all okay. The crazy part here, the desk had a minor jostle that was noticeable but could be deemed as acceptable. They refused to sell me that desk with the control unit and swapped the control unit for another one that didn't have this issue. When they helped load the desk, they gave me loads of cardboard to act as buffers and wrapped the top of the desk to make sure it didn't get damaged. Fast forward 2 days when I set up the desk: I installed it just as they told me to, including hooking up the legs as they had marked. Then my heart sunk. The desk wouldn't rise. Only one side raised about 5 inches and the other didn't budge. When I tried to lower it, the raised one wouldn't budge and the static one lowered! I emailed Tekbenches about this issue and they gave me instructions on how to reset the control unit and said if I couldn't get it working, they'd replace get it taken care of. Thankfully, the desk worked after I swapped the control signals. The fact that they were willing to come to the home and debug it for me during this crazy Pandemic was pretty amazing. TL:DR Overall they definitely have a great selection and great quality products with very competitive prices. Their service is amazing and you can tell they care about their customers.

I almost purchased another standard chair (Costco), but decided to do some homework. Found BT Express on Yelp. Delighted they had several high end office chairs - cost was more than the Costco chair, but much lower than buying it new. Left with a barely used Steelcase office chair. Enjoying the great back support and overall quality. P.S. while @ BT I saw some cool furniture and artwork for sale. Great for someone starting off - or if you want quality, unique furniture at a good price. Also - only 1-2 people working there on Saturday - but he did a good job taking care of all customers.

After navigating through some of the most run down parts of San Jose to get there, we arrived at a driveway half blocked by an electricians truck. The parking lot was nearly full. We saw a man working outside and asked if we could park behind the forklift, he said yes so we did, but much of the parking lot was taken up by Liberty's inventory, a hodgepodge of office furniture, patio furniture, and what looked like psychiatric hospital rubber foam couches. You could only tell it was them from a worn out sign out front. We made our way inside to a warehouse stuffed to the brim with used office furniture. The first chair my wife liked she sat in. She asked the woman how much. "$450, it's a genuine Herman Miller, normally $1200 on their site" "Let's go" my wife said, and we walked out. Looking at the Herman Miller site, it's not the Aeron which is the closest chair styled to the web back/seat chair we were looking at. It might be a model a few years older, which means it's not worth 1/3rd of what the latest model is worth. I'm not sure where this egregious pricing comes from. $160 tops from the places I would go to. That being said, my wife said she'll just buy a chair off amazon. I suppose Liberty's warehouse will continue to pile up, especially considering the incoming economic downturn which will have these things literally being thrown out on the curb.

Today however, I came in with two of the same documents needing the same basic 6 b&w copies of each. First, the service counter worker convinced me to do self service, after I had already emailed the pdf's to the service counter email. Then I send them to the self service email and the access code email never arrives, so I try connecting to their wifi, go through process again and it never arrives. Then I send them from a different email address, go through process again and it never arrives. The entire time, a worker is loudly vacuuming all around me, and the workers at the service desk (10 feet away) never even glance over to see if I need any assistance. Finally, I give up, go back to the counter and they are now helping someone with a complex order and don't acknowledge me. I then walk through the store, find the vacuuming guy and he finds someone to help. Finally the prints are done... which somehow even now are taking far longer than last time I was here. He then hands them to the very first guy who is now back from a long break, but he is helping someone else and never acknowledges me. Finally, I get to pay them, he hands me the 12 b&w pieces of paper, and the landscape print is printed portrait!!!!!!!!! (Cannot use these in such a tiny format). (This is the exact same document they printed the week before without issue). I walk to front, find vacuuming guy who tells me where the manager's office is. I find assistant manager who did the printing, tell him it's a landscape document and show him he printed it portrait and I ask for my money back. He tells me he's helping someone else now and can't help me. Bonus: while I was following vacuuming guy, a giant drop of water landed on me, and then in front of me on the floor, falling out of the ceiling of the store. I tell him and he says "Yeah, we have leaks," full stop. Side note: I never left a review after visiting once 12-18 months ago when the store manager was clearly intoxicated and a young female worker had to take over the transaction as he was too drunk to figure out the cash register. I'm not sure what's going on here but the place smells so bad, water is falling from the ceiling, management could be drunk, almost no one looks you in the eye or has any sense of guest service and you will still have to pay your hard earned money for it anyway. Save your sanity and skip this place.

Came back a few days later with my mom since she was the one buying it for me. (Merry Couchmas). The particular couch I was interested in on display there, was in orange. He said it was fully customizable for color, fabric, pillow pattern, and which side the chaise was on. They had probably over 200 different fabrics to choose from, all there with samples you could see and feel. I opted for a beautiful green with a peacock type pattern for the extra pillows, and the chaise flipped to the right side. He was transparent about the estimated lead time up front. We triple checked all the changes I wanted and it was just so simple from start to finish. You know how when you're shopping for a car and the salespeople try to follow you around and upsell you and are just overbearing? This place was not like that. Never buy from Ashley furniture home store, just come here instead. Since my mom has a truck we opted for pick up when it was finally ready at the warehouse. When they called to say it was ready, (which ended up being 1-2 weeks quicker than anticipated, woohoo!) I was so eager to see it, they let me come back in the store to see it in person. Because it was wrapped up so well in protective film and foam, it was hard to see. Then they actually offered to deliver it which made everything so nice and easy. Ebi was also great at checking in with me throughout the process. Just great communication all around. The driver came the following day and brought it in to my apartment. I made sure we tipped him well. My friend and I unwrapped the couch and set it up. It was so perfect and beyond my wildest dreams. I LOVE THIS COUCH. It's now been almost 10 months of using it daily. I think I have slept on it more than my actual bed because it's so comfortable and such great quality. It does not creak or wobble. It came fully assembled just in 2 sectional pieces since it's huge. It was wrapped so well and absolutely zero damage. Clearly amazing quality and great prices. This couch was worth every penny. I've been meaning to write this review for a long time, but finally got around to it. (Sorry for the delay Ebi!) I will definitely be back for future furniture needs. 10/10 experience. Do not hesitate to go here.

One of the worst experiences I've had buying furniture. My order was delayed for months, and the…read morestore rarely responded to calls or messages. Customer service was extremely poor and there was no clear communication or updates about the order status. Even after all this time, I still have not received my refund after the owner cancelled my order. Honestly, I would give 0 stars if that were an option. If you value your time and money, I strongly recommend avoiding this store. Very disappointing experience.
