There is a huge selection of office furniture and supplies in really great condition. I purchased a Steelcase Think for only $250, and it was in pristine condition when I got it--couldn't even tell it was used. They even took care to clean it for me before I picked it up. Christina is wonderful, and I will definitely be back if I need more office furniture. read more

This is a long overdue review. My office needed furniture about a year ago so I started shopping around and Advantage Office Solutions stood out from other competitors that I meet up in the area to compare prices. From the moment I met Christina she went above and beyond to help me out with the process of getting the right furniture for my office space and was able to work with the budget I had in place. If I needed something specific she figured it out and made it work. Her and her team truly are amazing! I had some tables that were wobbly and the crew members fixed them for me at no extra cost now that is phenomenal customer service. If you are in need of any office furniture or home office I highly recommend that you go see Christina you will not be disappointed. read more

I ended up not buying a chair from here but only because my husband got tired of me dragging my feet and had purchased a chair for me already. Christina, the owner, is a jewel. She is so professional and knowledgeable and goes out of her way to help the customer. I have found the ergo folks in the Bay Area to be somewhat arrogant and unresponsive to individual customers. They prefer big accounts. Not this business. They know their stuff and they are extremely flexible with purchases. Christina lets you try chairs, explains what you're getting, and provides a pressure free environment. Also, very COVID compliant. I would absolutely do business with these people. A++++++ Update 10/3/2020: I went back to the shop and bought the same Herman Miller chair I knew I should have bought a couple of weeks ago. the best part...wait for it...Christina intuitively knew I'd be back and held it for me. What a wonderful experience I had working with this business!! read more

I had a great experience at Advantage with Christina. Great place if you need something customized. I needed a sit/stand desk with an unusual top size and they were cheerfully able to accommodate by cutting an existing desk top and fitting a base to it. Price was very reasonable. Don't be fooled by the modest unassuming front office - there is a good sized warehouse in the back with lots of desk etc inventory. read more

I was looking at buying a standing desk for my home office. Renee and her team really helped me find the perfect desk for an amazingly competitive price. They were really friendly and easy to talk to. They helped me in showing me around their inventory. I ended up buying a standing desk with real wood maple top which is amazing in comparison to all the laminate ones on the market. I will definitely be back for an office chair and anything else I might need! read more

I mentioned in my earlier review that when we'd return to Advantage Office to update our home office. We did, and we had another great experience. My husband and I got 2 workrite adjustable height desks ($395 each), a bookshelf, and file cabinet. The nice thing about the desks was that we were able to customize the table tops (mine was 4.5 x 2.5 feet. My husband wanted one larger, so he ordered his to be 5 x 2.5 feet.) There was also a small selection of colors to choose from for the Desktop color. A really nice improvement to our home offices for a good price. read more

Renee and the team were so helpful. I've been searching for a standing desk for a while now and I finally found a great quality desk at such a wonderful price. Made an appointment yesterday for this morning. Renee showed us around their huge inventory of office furniture, including desks, chairs, whiteboards, etc. She even offered the option to put together different frames and table tops or cut down the table tops to make the perfect combination/size. I ended up buying a like new humanscale float desk at such a great deal and Renee provided same day delivery!! Overall an amazing, painless experience and would definitely come back for other office furniture in the future. read more

Advantage Office Solutions was referred to me by my movers, Nor-Cal Moving Services. Advantage Office Solutions is an awesome women owned company. I sent Christina Fornos, the owner the pictures of the the office furniture that we needed to trade and gave her a list of the furniture that we needed for our new office. After scheduling a meeting with Christina we picked out all of the furniture, she was super patient and took me all over the warehouse. She then scheduled the pick-up of the furniture that we no longer needed and they delivered all of the furniture that we needed all at the same time. Her staff was very nice and super professional. I went to many other office solution establishments but they were unable to help me. Christina thanks for the services that you offer, we love the new office furniture set-up. read more

Small business operated by friendly proprietor. Furniture itself comes from the same suppliers as any other big liquidator or office supplier, so no issues there. I got a good desk for a fair price with mostly used parts, and Christina helped some good material stay out of a landfill, so I felt it fair to leave a good review. read more

Since the start of the pandemic, I've worked remote making do with kitchen tables and Amazon chairs. I knew I needed to make a real work station for myself, but I had been hesitant hoping to be back in an office with people and I just hate shopping. After 2 1/2 years, I decided- there was no office in sight and I needed to set myself up comfortable, at home. I decided to go and see Christina and Donna at Advantage Office. When I walked in, I was greeted by Donna. She made me feel right at home. She was nice and made me feel comfortable walking the show room floor try a few chairs they had pulled for me. When I sat in the 2nd chair, I feel in love. It was a Body Built chair. Christina came over and told me all I needed to know and then some about this brand. She's is definitely a GURU! She taught me all of the levers and pulls to make sure I could be comfortable while I work; from the tilting of the seat, to the arms, height. You name it, she knew it. I was very impressed. As I walked the show room floor, I knew I needed a real desk, not my kitchen table- and always wanted one that would go up and down. So I could sit, or stand. As I walked the floor, there was a desk, just built the day before, sitting there, like it was made for me. The desk went up and down, was small enough for my space; it was like it was meant to be. Donna and Christina made the experience easy and fun! They are extremely affordable and do business with a smile. For anyone looking to build out their office space- home or work, I would highly recommend you go see these two ladies! You won't be disappointed. Thank you so much ladies!!!!! read more

Long overdue review, but we moved offices and needed some new furnishings. Christina and her entire team was great! From her showroom sales people, they were very knowledgeable and fair pricing for great quality lightly-used furniture. Their furniture is industrial/commercial grade, must sturdier than the other cheap furniture you may find online. Before finding Advanced Office Solutions, we made the mistake of buying new "modern" furniture online - which looked great and minimalistic, but not sturdy or robust. We bought desks, filing cabinets, pedestals, and cabinets from her - all were great quality, showed almost like-new! Their delivery and install team was equally impressive - on time, quick, efficient, clean, and professional! read more

The service was well worth the price. Minus one star because after the delivery came we had some parts missing and I had to contact the office lady constantly for over a month until we finally got everything completely installed. It did leave our office looking pretty good. The quality of the used products were pretty decent considering the price. If you look closely there are some scratches here and there. The installers came in and installed everything efficiently. read more

Christina and her team are awesome. I started shopping around for an office chair a few days before Christmas, and I wanted to buy one immediately. Great service and good office furniture! I'm not talking about just your usual office furniture that you buy from local stores. I am a repeat customers and visited them last week without realizing I have to take an appointment first and found the "call for appointment", called from parking lot and they let me in 2mins. Everyone is wearing mask and maintaining good social distance. The staff here is very friendly and extremely patient, they don't push you to make a decision right away or try to sell you the expensive stuff, they always want to make sure you buy what you feel comfortable with and what's right for you. Best part they even customized the chair for me (removing the arms and putting a lumbar support) and had no objection with me keeping the arms during pickup which I didn't even mention while I was purchasing a day ago. Thank you for your awesome customer support Renee. -Varinder read more

I recommend it. Yes, come here to talk with Christina Fornos. She has loads of knowledge and information about office furniture systems, products, quality, comfort, design, style. I bought a cool looking office chair for a great price after Christina helped me evaluate nearly 25 different varieties. That wasn't all the different types of chairs, just the ones that fit my preferences! Other office stuff is all over the place and some of the most unusual things, like hot dog vendor carts and coke can dispensing machines ... you know, they get stuff when businesses shut down or close out their line of furniture. Call and ask her, but better yet, go and see what I mean. read more

I was shopping for a new computer chair for the home. I entered the business from the front door at the multi-tenant industrial building. The office area contains lots of chairs, desks, reception desks, and cubicles. There is more office furniture in the back. Don't let the mess fool you. The selection is good. Make sure you recognize one of the rooms is their break room. I purchased my mesh chair on sale. Frank was a good and helpful person. He knows his furniture. He gave me plenty of time to browse and try different chairs. I'm a satisfied customer. Assembly of my chair was free. Make sure you communicate whether Advantage Office Solutions calls you when your purchase arrives or set up a pick up date in the future. read more

I came in specifically looking for a used Aeron chair and was delighted by the service and selection. For some reason I was expecting a dingy warehouse manned by gruff guys, but was pleasantly surprised by how helpful and knowledgable the staff was. I came in close to closing on a Saturday and never felt rushed or like they couldn't wait to get me out of there. I told the gentleman helping me what I was looking for and he showed me the Aerons, but also steered me to some other chairs that he thought might suit my needs better - and he was right! I found the perfect chair for my needs and my body thanks to his knowledge and patience. There was a vast selection and he also told me what shipments he anticipated were coming in over the next week. The prices were competitive, and in some instances a little lower than other used office furniture shops in the area. They also care about the product that they are selling. There was a stack of chairs ready to be shipped to another customer and they were cleaning them before they left the shop. There was also a chair that had a mis-matched part and he said that he would have to "fix that before he could sell it". Both nice touches, I thought, and spoke to the level of care that they have for their customers and the product. If I had one criticism, it is that since these are all used items they are in varying degrees of condition. By no means do they have any junk in the store, but like items were all priced the same regardless of condition (ie, the Leap Chairs were all priced the same even though one had some scratches on the armrest, etc.). The lesson is to look over all of the inventory of a particular item you want and choose the best one. I would like to see a slight discount for the more well-worn items. read more

Want to echo the good reviews about Advantage. I called around 4 or 5 places to find a specific desk from a certain manufacturer. I got quotes ranging from about $1,500-$2,500 (for the same exact desk!). I worked with Vince and he was able to offer a competitive price and was able to order the desk the same day and get it shipped to us. He quoted us a 7 day turn time and the desk was delivered exactly on time. The installers were professional and were in and out in a timely fashion. This place was great! After shopping in the East Bay for our new office set up in Hayward, Ca we decided to venture out to San Jose. We found this diamond in the rough and found a great L Shaped desk, a beautiful cherry wood conference room table & book shelf and several tech desks to complete the furnishing of our office. The furniture we purchased is quality, and they have a lot of matching sets for any office styles. I highly recommend this location. Staff is friendly and efficient, just plan in advance since they are busy, busy, busy! Even though we had to wait a few days for delivery it was totally worth it! Thanks Vince! read more

I stopped in here today to look at office furniture and this place was great. I found some good deals on used furniture, and took it all back to Fresno with me. Vince was very helpful, and the guys in the warehouse were helpful, too. They helped me load my trailer. If you are opening a new office or just need some office furniture, especially if you are looking for used furniture, this is a must stop. I am sure their inventory changes a lot, and they may have a good selection one day and perhaps not as good on another day. But if you tell them what you are looking for, I am sure they will keep their eyes open. I highly recommend this place. read more

Our company has been working with Advantage Office for years and I have nothing but great things to say about the company! Christina, the owner, is so amazing to work with, super reliable, and will bend over backwards to complete any requests we ask of her and her team. Advantage Office Solutions is my favorite office furniture store in San Jose and Gilroy, CA You can forget about going to Staples or Office Depot.......don't even think about Ikea for your office furniture needs. No kits, lame Scandinavian pack or self-assemble found here. I have tried several craigslist chairs, and even a gaming one that had more knobs and levers that was beyond my pay grade. After a week, my wrist or arm would get sore just reaching to adjust another setting to see if it would help. About a month ago, I had an amazing experience getting fitted for an office chair by Renee and Christina who know their stuff. I'm a big guy and spend all my working hours with 4 CAD monitors in my face. I needed something of great quality and comfy that would stay within my budget. Absolutely the best experience I have ever had buying an office chair. It became a combination of getting my monitors to the right heights, arm rest set for the mouse and correct position to my back and for neck support. I have never been this comfortable - ever. Come here to look for your office furniture needs before going to big brand places, they have very affordable prices and the knowledge with inventory to access what is needed. read more

This place was fantastic!! I recently gutted my office and got all new furniture. It was a daunting task but Brenda was so good and made it so much easier than I thought it would be. She came by our office and measured the doors, windows, room, everything. She then was able to make 3D images of what our office would look like with the furniture we were considering. We must have gone back and forth about 3-4 times before we found a setup that we loved and moved forward. Not only were they able to deliver the furniture to us, they also we able to assemble it for us AND place the furniture where we wanted. This was such a great service and saved so much time. Just over the top service. Brenda was even able to customize my desk to accommodate a pillar in the corner of the room to make sure it fit flush. Then she was able to customize the desk I bought with a pull out keyboard holder where I wanted it. I wouldn't even look anywhere else the next time I'm looking for office furniture, I really couldn't have asked for more. Thanks so much Brenda, we love our office!! read more

Christina (the owner) is wonderful! She's knowledgeable and genuinely eager to help you find the right chair (or whatever you're looking for) at an affordable price. My wife's home office chair broke and so we went looking for a replacement. Advantage had good ratings so we went there first. What we found was a very commercial-looking place with a parking lot with no clearly marked parking slots, and when we stepped up a small unpaved incline to get inside we found what looked like a small office setup with only one person working in a far corner who ignored us, and at that point we almost went home. I'M GLAD WE DIDN'T. I got the guy's attention and he referred us to Christina who took us into the back where there were hundreds of chairs both new and used. She and her helper Moto were very helpful. My wife is just under 5 foot and so a lot of chairs, even at their lowest seat height, leave her feet dangling, but she and Moto spent at least an hour with us looking for the perfect chair. What they actually wound up doing was taking parts from three different chairs and making one chair out of them that fit my wife perfectly! They sold it to us at a good price too, and they said that even with the modifications that if we were not totally satisfied with it over the next week that we could return it. read more

I didn't end up getting an ergo chair for the office after all, because we found one that worked. However, I did appreciate the help I received from the gentleman who worked with us. What a find! We needed add-on furniture for a new and larger office space and this place was perfect. They have a huge selection (don't let the small front-office confuse you) and the prices are very fair. The service is friendly, helpful and timely. They managed to puzzle-fit 26 stacking chairs into the SUV we brought (after wiping them down) and were very pleasant to deal with. They promised a Friday AM delivery and we got a Friday AM delivery the week of Christmas -- AMAZING! Nice, reasonable prices and good service. What more could you want?
