He performed so many drawing iterations and went way above and beyond in his service level. He even had to customize a desk size to make a firm partner happy. We had a fire in our commercial building two years ago and reached out to Matt Benak to get replacement furniture for our 27 cubicle open office area, 3 conference rooms, breakroom, and front lobby. Matt invited me down to their showroom in Milpitas (Pre-COVID) and look at the various selections. The detail that Matt put into it was awesome he came down to the office and took measurements (remember Pre-COVID) explained to me what they can do. We did maybe 2 small revisions and done, then sent me a quote. Due to this being an insurance claim Matt followed up with me which made me feel that they wanted the business and that is what I look for. Fast forward almost 2 years later we were able to move forward on the insurance side and gave the PO to Matt and scheduling was simple and easy with no hassle. UPDATE: I recently completed another, much larger, project with Eco Office and would still recommend them to anyone needing to build out an office area with desks, drawers, shelves, and cubicle walls. We recently moved our Engineering department to a new building so the previously-occupied space could be used for manufacturing. Matt was very responsive and helped me lay out 13 new cubes in a space previously used for manufacturing. I had a LOT of questions for him and he answered each one in a way that helped me make all the little decisions involved in laying out a new space. Matt even figured out what we could reuse from our old space to save a little money. I only had to wait 2 or 3 weeks for installation once we'd agreed on a layout. The installation team arrived on time. They were easy to communicate with and got everything installed very efficiently and neatly. Once we moved into our new space, Eco Office came back and removed the cubes from the old space free of charge. I've been very pleased with the communication and customer service I received from Eco Office and would recommend them to anyone looking to build out an office space. read more

Aweful customer service. You'd think with the reduced overall business and the plethora of people working from home right now, they'd flex to meet the needs of the customer... But you'd be wrong. I needed an office chair for my business, seeing nothing on their website regarding closures I emailed them in the morning to inquire if their showroom was open. Not having received a reply by 12:30 I decided to drop by and see since it was just around the corner. The loading bay door was wide open so I walked up to the office door to find it also unlocked. There was no one in the lobby so I pressed the buzzer on the desk that indicated ring for assistance... No one came. I pressed it again, several times, and still no one came. I finally called the local number they had pasted to the window and told the woman who answered that I was standing in their Milpitas showroom lobby wanting to look at their office chairs and despite earnestly pressing the aforementioned buzzer, I have yet to see any one. The woman was bewildered for a moment, apparently incapable of comprehending the notion that the entire world had not come to a screeching halt, and then sheepishly told me their showroom was closed due to the Covid emergency. I guess they didn't read the Health Order closely because it clearly allows "Businesses that supply other Essential Businesses with support or supplies necessary to operate" to also remain open... Section 13(f)(xix) I told her it would have been nice if their webpage indicate that or if someone had actually answered my email from hours earlier... She told me she'd get their tech folks right on that. So I asked her if I was out of luck? to which she replied, "Well, I can help you place an order..." This was the last straw... I will shamelessly point out that I am a Certified Office Ergo Evaluator and I didn't see the point of argueing the merits of actually sitting in a chair before purchasing it with someone so obviously clueless! T I decided this company was no longer worth wasting my time over and told her no thanks, I'll just source my chair elsewhere. read more

One of the key reasons we initially decided to go with this company for our partition/cubicle needs was they were local and their website advertises they purchase cubicles. They were not interested in purchasing the partitions/cubicles we purchased from them less than a year ago even though their website advertises differently. They didn't even take the time to recommend a local liquidator to work with and pretty much just said we were on our own to figure out what to do with this stuff. If we were to ever need office furniture again this would not be a place we would consider working with even if the price was amazing. After purchase service is poor. read more

I am so grateful to this team of pros, from the initial consultation, the coordination with our building mgr, the options (the options are amazing), to the beautiful office set up. They offer a "project manager" that came out and measured, offered several different ideas, worked wonders with our oddly shaped space, and then was actually here on installation day. We went with Cherryman accessories because they were affordable (new products), and chose shorter paneling system so that our staff could still see the windows. We also had them install glass extensions in a couple of areas to make them pop visually (beautiful). I am just so thrilled with the final result. We went with the suggestions on the "work surface" (tabletops and desks) and they look brand new. You would never know that they are not brand new, and we can feel really good about the re-use aspect for environmental reasons. Check out on their website because they have a lot of pictures. Only suggestion, really listen to your project mgr. I had one idea when I called, but I didn't end up going with my first plan because his suggestion not only utilized our space better and looked amazing, but cost us less too! read more

We recently wanted to update our office space. We called several bay area companies but decided to go with Creative Solutions. Tess was our project manager. We told her our budget, what we were looking for, and the colors we wanted. Also, the number of cubicles, desks, and filing cabinets we wanted. We gave her a layout of our office space. Then she gave us some great ideas that we didn't even think of and had us stop by their office to look at some of the options. We were able to get some of the cubicles refurbished for a fraction of the cost, and then we were able to splurge a little more on other things. I have to say, I was packing up the last boxes on the day of installation. (I would not recommend this) But the crew that showed up, was very professional and gave me room to finish. They were really polite and kept everything clean as they were going. You can tell they have done this many times, they all worked really well together. In the end, I left and came back to a beautiful new office arrangement. We have been so happy with all of our decisions, including all of Tess's suggestions. I was very impressed with this company. I was looking for a couple of file cabinets that are horizontal and I didn't want them very high. I also had a very specific color to match what we have in our office so this was not an easy task. And the fact that I wanted a reasonable deal as new cabinets are very expensive. I called CS and they not only found two cabinets in the size I wanted but they have a service to paint the cabinets exactly to the color you are looking for. The cost was reasonable and they offered to deliver to our office for a reasonable price. They have a very bid warehouse and stock a lot of items so I was very impressed. I fiddled around going to all these other places like express liquidators that had horrible service and had a hit or miss getting the quality and size I wanted. If I need other office equipment I think I'm going to just start here first as they did great. Oh and when they delivered the cabinet there the person who did that was very friendly and was very careful to bring these cabinets up a flight of stairs. When one of the latches seemed to not work perfectly he told us that they would come back out to make sure the latch worked correctly.
