I was looking around for Herman Miller Embody for a good price. I happen to see a Craigslist ad for Cisco Office Liquidators selling the Embody for a decent price. I was not sure if this is some place I can stop by and browse or not so I gave them a quick call to check. No one picked up originally but I did get a callback within the hour that the product was available and I can stop by to check it out in about half an hour as no one was manning the warehouse at the time. I arrived with a group. As mentioned, I was interested in the Herman Miller Embody and another was interested in the Herman Miller Aeron. There were a handful of premium office chairs throughout the warehouse. After trying my selection of refurbished and cleaned up Embody, I negotiated the price and requested the cost of delivery. Negotiation went fairly smoothly and reasonable. Overall, pretty straightforward and pleasant experience. I would definitely note calling before hand as their hours listed on their website is more of availability rather than presence at the office. Communication was great. These guys have a huge inventory of high quality equipment, great prices, and were super friendly and polite. I did notice that one of the chairs suddenly started squeaking pretty badly the next day, and after reaching out to the guys about it, they were happy to offer an exchange and make things right. Luckily, I was able to tune the chair and resolve the issue myself, saving myself the 1.5 hr drive - but nonetheless I'm very grateful for their professionalism and post-purchase support! If you ever need a SteelCase for far below MSRP, this place is the place to go. They have a wide selection of office chairs from the top brands. Their employees were extremely helpful in negotiating a deal depending on the condition of the chair. My only complaint is that a lot of the chairs have damaged or scuffed wheels, which will cost extra to replace. However, that can easily be negotiated down. read more

The guys that run this operation are super nice, and the quality of the chairs are pretty good. I bought a Herman Miller Aeron size C for $520 and have been pleased with the quality for the price. They were super helpful with showing features if needed, but I knew what I was looking for. To that end, they were happy to give me some space to inspect the chair I would be buying, and were willing to put the exact chair that I wanted on hold so I could purchase it later in the day. I would advise anyone that's buying a used office chair- especially one this expensive- to do their research and inspect the chair you are considering purchasing thoroughly (rips, hydraulics, and general function). I think these guys are legit and had a great experience overall, but I wouldn't necesarilly trust any and every chair off the lot without checking it out first.
