One of the best meals I've had all year, this is a Tarrant County gem. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - On my Saturday visit, Acquario Italian Restaurant was busy and full of energy. Acquario has a very upscale feel, with dim lighting, heavy white tablecloths, and lots of pretty people. You can make a reservation on Open Table. 1 Star. Service - Our server was exceptional. He made many recommendations and didn't need to write down our order. He checked in several times, and a manager even stopped by asking us how things were. Our table settings were cleared after each course, and the entire time we felt like we were at a fine dining establishment (because we were). 1 Star. Food - We began with several starters, but the two most outstanding were the Octopus Ceviche and the Grilled Octopus. The Ceviche was light and fresh, and the Grilled Octopus was tender with a smoky char. The presentation was outstanding. For my main, I chose the Ravioli Tartufo. I discovered this rich, savory, truffled infused cheese at one of my favorite soufflé spots in Dallas, so when I saw Acquario had a ravioli version, I ordered it. It easily exceeded my expectations, the creamy Tartufo cheese sauce was smooth, velvety, and creamy. And none was spared, as it made an excellent dipping sauce for the house made Italian bread. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes.... I hope. Keller is pretty far for me, and there are many delicious Italian restaurants in Dallas. But wow, Acquario Italian Restaurant has permanently made its mark on me, and I will be looking for an excuse to return (or hope they open a second location in Dallas County). 1 Star.

It doesn't seem like much sitting in the strip center, but we walked inside. They've got two good size dining areas and plenty of room. Also we enjoyed that they had the football games on TVs in both rooms. The menu appears to be updated almost daily on a chalkboard. It took a minute to look over everything and make a choice. We opted for the fried oysters as an appetizer then I ordered the fish and shrimp plate and my wife ordered the # 7, which today was one cluster snow, crabs, and shrimp. They brought our food out in to go boxes, which is I guess what everybody eats out of. We were both blown away when we opened them up and saw how much food they give you. The portions are huge. My fish and fried shrimp was pretty good. The fish could use a little bit more seasoning, but it was cooked very well and tasted good. The shrimp was really good and once again I was surprised at how big they were. There was a ton of fries and only ate about half of them, but they were good as well. I was very impressed with the fried oysters. They were big oysters and tasted great. My wife loved her snow crab. It comes with tons of potatoes, corn on the cob and several shrimp and we were stuffed by the time we left. We will definitely come back and try something different on the menu next time

I don't eat sushi or a lot of the menu items, but the Salmon I had was the best that I have ever had. Of course, my wife had the Lobster, probably the most expensive item on the menu. Others had the Steak and most had things that I don't even know what was in it... even after reading the menu. My point is the food was highly enjoyed by everyone, especially those who normally eat this type of cuisine. The drinks are amazing and what a variety!!! Japanese whisky and a huge wine list. PLUS, amazing sake and Japanese beer. P.s. They also have domestic and NA beer which was great since my wife doesn't drink. The service was beyond reproach. Super attentive and very informative. I have no point of reference about cost to compare too other than to say our drinks (many many drinks) was far more than the food. It was expensive, but for 8 of us, that was to be expected. The restaurant was larger than it looks, very comfortable, relaxing, and accommodating. Highly Recommended even if this isn't your normal cuisine.

The atmosphere is modern and upscale making it a perfect choice for a date night. They do have some kid friendly options on the menu and a few kids were dining there on Friday night.

My favorite is their fried shrimp and okra. If you have been to Pappadeaux then you know the prices are pretty high for fried shrimp and know that Bayou Jacks tastes better, the batter and shrimp flavor are really good at a more reasonable price. The service is great and they offer a casual dining experience. Please give them a try and become a fan!

Wild Fork has better prices on high quality meats than other grocery stores. Their triple blend burgers (brisket, chuck, and short rib) are restaurant quality and reasonably priced. They also have some items you rarely find in America like ground Ostrich. I haven't tried it, but I'm open to it. The staff is friendly and always available to help or answer questions. The store is pretty on the inside and well laid out. I suggest going when you have time to walk up and down each aisle. Even though I have a list, it takes me a while to decide on what I'll buy because they have so much to offer. This trip I got those burgers, brioche buns, frozen yucca chunks, steak, branzino, and a ton of other items that I had not intended on buying, but just couldn't pass on. They do have some nice sales as well! This location is in a shopping center with plenty of parking. The store is medium size, but it will take you a while to get through all the interesting offerings.
