This is the 4th generation here and I can't walk past without getting fresh olives, artichokes & cheese. Staff is fast, friendly, everything is fresh and very delicious. I can't find Italian delicacies like this at home & they don't ship, but they should!

Amazing Italian grocer in The Bronx steeped in history and offering a wide array of imported Italian goods. Their staff is always helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The family-run shop may be small, but it's packed with goods and offers everything you could possibly need from pasta to cured meats, cheeses, olives and olive oil, and a lot more. A definite must if you're in the neighborhood or looking for authentic Italian foods.

Apparently they take cards now, but I would stick with cash anyway. They don't like cards because of the service fee, like most businesses.

This place deserves everybody's patronage as they do NOT rip you off. They are the real "too big to fail" franchises in my book.

I can honestly say it's one of the best places in the area! The store is always clean,…read morewell-organized, and stocked with fresh produce and quality grocery items. The staffs are friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. I really appreciate the variety of local products they offer, and the prices are fair for the quality you get. It's so convenient to have such a wonderful supermarket right in the neighborhood--definitely my go-to for all my grocery needs! I would say , please visit this amazing store once .

This is a 1.5 star review generously being rounded up to 2…read more I haven't been to this Food Bazaar in years for two reasons. First mainly because there are so many other places I can go that are close to where I live or near where I work with better prices and fresh products and second because on my last visit, my mom purchased turkey wings and they were freezer burned and they gave her a huge problem returning them at that time. Fast forward to my recent visit, a friend of mine was going and I decided to accompany her and also check out the cereal prices while there. It looks like they have some better items on display and more variety than before so that's good. That is the reason for earning 1.5 stars. The reason for losing four is because when going to check out we went to self checkout and the machine says you can enter your phone number. My friend never signed up so the person there said she can sign up and then use the app. I thought my mom had already signed up and I entered the telephone number. For some reason it wasn't working. So one lady came over and she spoke very little English but then called for the other lady in Spanish. The other lady came over and she knew some English but had trouble explaining. Now my Spanish isn't the best but I understand well. It's speaking that I struggle with. Because I was confused with why the number wasn't working and trying to figure out how to relay that to her, she tells the other cashier three registers over and in front of several customers that I have an attitude which was totally inaccurate and inappropriate. I then realized despite how badI may feel my Spanish is, it was time for code switching and pulled my Spanish out and asked her if she's saying that I need to have the app AND I need to also have the telephone number in order to get the savings?? THE LOOK ON HER FACE WHEN SHE REALIZED I UNDERSTOOD HER!!! She then proceeded to explain (in Spanish) that yes both the app and the telephone number is needed for the savings, etc. I didn't call her out on it and No apology was ever offered either. But hopefully she now knows not to judge or talk about customers especially right in front of them assuming they won't be able to comprehend. I'm not going to take away from the very few other positives the store has but I definitely won't be returning and unless having the app and fully ready to let your bilingual talents show if and when in need of assistance, I'd be wary of shopping here.

I've seen this place change so much over the last 12 years or so. I appreciate that they carry…read morefresh fruit and veggies for less prices than the supermarket next door. They also have a lot of food necessities and household items. Their flower section is inexpensive and not bad at all - a good place if you want to pick up some everyday flowers for your lady or mom. They'll make fresh bouquets of roses for you if you can find someone. They've always had the 2 registers in the middle of the store which caused 2 lines forming. Now, the cashiers are in the corner and the bright customers can never figure out how to form a line or two. People are all over the place, blocking aisles, and cutting each other off.

This place is a trip…read more First of all, there is no front wall. Now, I'm sure commercial landlords are used to tenants asking them to rearrange window and door placements on the street front, but to pull down the front wall entirely? I don't think I've ever seen that before. So... needless to say, this place never closes! There's always a really huge selection of fruits and vegetables out front (hence the name of the store, I think) and they're all really reasonably priced, if not downright cheap. Other than that, it's just a really large bodega with an unusual selection of herbs and chilis and other such things I don't recognize from my conservative suburban upbringing. :) Mostly I just enjoy coming here to make jokes about not being unemployed in Greenland. But that just goes to show I've seen The Princess Bride far too many times.
