Not a good first impression. Doctor S is not compassionate considering she works with kids. The reviews were right that she gets somewhat frustrated when your kid needs a lot of work done. If there were any negative stars I would have picked it. The first time we visited her, she asked my 6 year old daughter to stop sneezing. Her words were not polite at all. My daughter came back and said "the doctor is so rude and did not treat me with respect". We ignored that, however that was the biggest red flag. She asked us to come to fill in for the last molar. My husband was with my daughter and she again started her rude way of talking and my daughter was not comfortable at all. She gave her laughing gas without proper permission from the parents and any other details. She did not even explain to the kid what she was going to do which is an extremely important step for a pediatric dentist. So much chaos happened, so I had to leave my work and rush to the place. What I saw, I just decided never to come back again "STOP SHOUTING" she was telling the patient with an extremely rude tone. I confronted her and said please be encouraging. She is just a kid. She just finished her work, walked out of the room without giving us any information about after care. Later, her office wanted us to pay the bill. I did ask to talk to the doctor before paying the bill. When she was confronted, she said I did not like the energy...there was too much shouting and I had to leave. Well if the energy of a kid bothers her then she should never be a pediatric dentist. She asked me to look for options in other places and rushed inside when another parent/child entered. Her office staff asked us not to pay anything while we were due for a $120 bill. I am never going back again, why I write this is ....this is kind of a "DENTIST TRAUMA" for my daughter. For the rest of her life she will be afraid to go to the dentist for all that this lady did. She is only good at cleaning and when a complex situation comes she will either give laughing gas without asking or sedate your kid and do the job easily and escape. 2 Months later, got an email that we still owe a balance of 1k! We paid the cost they gave us in full on the day of surgery, now they're telling us we owe a whole $1,000 more. So ridiculous, I didn't even approve of the two extra cavities they said they found and filled during surgery. We shifted to teethpedisteics as my son needed to be seen and our first impression was not so gr8 especially doctor Suruchi's approach to speaking to younger kids. We continued to see them. Couple of visits later on had to be cancelled because of sickness and they demanded cancellation fee of $50 whereas every visits we made had to literally wait for 20 to 25 mins and there is no accountability for our time. We had to visit lately since my son complained about spacer irritating skin as the procedure was done at the clinic itself earlier, they made us to wait 45 mins because we did not pay fine for appointment cancellation earlier. I ended up moving to different dentist because Dr. Suruchi and receptionist were totally unethical knowing the fact that we needed to be seen immediately and they took advantage of situation holding us to make payment first before treatment. I could have paid but they turned out to be unprofessional and rude so it was best decision to move out. read more

Highly unprofessional place. When booking appointment I provided all details that we were moving from another dentist due to distance but at no point the person taking the details and making appointment said that they would need details of any recent x-rays or would not be able to do cleaning with doing an x-ray. We reached 30 mins before the appointment time and checked in. After checking in we were waiting for 40 minutes and at no point we were told that an x-ray will be needed. When we were taken inside I said don't want another x-ray taken for my daughter since we already had one that year, they refused to do her cleaning without an x-ray. Even though I said I will get them the x-ray transferred from the other dentist later. Not even sure they can legally force me to get an x-ray for my kid. Highly unprofessional: My daughter was given a dental cleaning that lasted only ten minutes but was charged as both a dental cleaning and a dental assessment in the amount of $ 420. I was an unemployed student then, and the dentist knew it. The evaluation was obviously inaccurate as the dentist didn t see any problem, yet my daughter developed dental issues a week later. Also, being a nurse, I noticed the dentist touching unclean surfaces ( a box brought by an employee who was not wearing gloves) before putting back her gloved hands in my daughter's mouth. My 19-month old daughter went in today for her first dental appointment. Being so young, she got nervous and cried a bit. Dr. Suruchi was so sweet with her and patient. At the end, she got a sticker and a little toy from her fun treasure chest. I like that she explained very clearly the concerns we had and answered all my questions. The waiting room has an iPad for kids to play with, a little kitchen (that my baby loved), a box of toys, 2 gum ball machines with little toys in them, and a couple of stuffed animals. This was my son's first dentist visit. He had complained about some teeth pain. I can't say enough about how amazing the Dr. was. The office is very clean and aesthetically designed to be kid friendly. The office is in a very serene location with ceiling to floor glass windows that overlooks a pond. She explained everything and he was at ease the whole time through his cleaning and X-rays. I looked into our provider and somehow she was in our network on the website. After further investigation after our visit she only takes PPO. We have delta dental care USA, which is not in network. She was very professional about the hiccup. I'm in the process of hoping that we could change our coverage just so that we can continue the services at ToothBuddies. I've been calling dental offices to try to setup an appointment and I can see how clear it is that we want to go back to ToothBuddies. Another dental office even recommended them for pediatric work. My kids love it here. It's very clean and has a play area to keep the kids occupy while you do the paperwork. The back room is very open to the "pond" They have tv for the kids to watch while doing their procedure. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to us. The dr. Is very gentle and nice. She let the kids "help" her while she's working on their sibling. They all came away with some toy prizes and stickers. With a toothbrush kit. We have been searching for a good pediatric dentist for a while. Tried a few already and nothing really worked out for one reason or another. We came across some reviews of Teethbuddies on Google. Later when I checked the yelp reviews, they all sounded great. When we contacted for an appointment and mentioned that we needed one at the earliest, they found one for us on the same day. They have all the paperwork digitalized; filled all the forms online which made the appointment was hassle free. We were on-time and Check-in was smooth. Didn't have to wait for long either. Dr. Suruchi was great. She explained exactly what's going on, what needs to be done, what's she's going to do that day and what needs to be done in next appointment. She was very friendly and that made the whole appointment much for comfortable. It was a nice experience. The staffs are gentle and very helpful too. We are already went here for a few appointments, and we are totally happy that we chose ToothBuddies. It's location is perfect, easy access. Amenities are excellent too. They have set up play areas for kids. They have iPads set up for bigger kids. Kids will surely love to spend time there. The main room at the back is spacious and you get a nice view of the pond behind the building. They have installed tv screens at the ceiling so that the kids can watch their favorite shows during the procedure. Our 3 ye old was happy to sit with her as she got her cavities taken care of and intact liked to come back for return session. Her office is very well done with cartoons on the tv monitor in the ceiling. This kept our toddler distracted from all the cleaning etc and tools in her mouth. Dr.Suruchi was great! It was my 4 year old daughters first time ever at the dentist. Needless to say, my daughter was very nervous. The office has such a friendly and fun environment. My daughter felt at ease the minute she walked in. I could tell that Dr. Suruchi knew what she was doing because she was trying to make my daughter feel comfortable in the dentists chair and even got her acquainted with all the instruments. While she had her teeth worked on she even got to watch her favorite show Peppa Pig that's played on the ceiling. After the appointment she got to pick a sticker as well. Took my 10 and 5 yr old to see Dr Sue. We were greeted by her friendly staff. Dr Sue is extremely good with kids. The kids did great in chair .. all credit to Dr Sue's amazing chair side manner! My kids loved her. She even allows parents to be in the room and answers all questions patiently without rushing at all. The office was very clean and all equipment was sterilized. So our preschooler got cavities in his teeth and by the time we realized the damage was done. We took him to a highly rated pediatric dentist but the only option we got was to do all the treatment under general anesthesia as it is difficult for children of this age to co-operate. We were not very comfortable and were searching for other options when luckily we found Dr. Suruchi. After having examined our child's teeth, she explained to us the situation and different treatment options. Most importantly she was willing to work on a plan we were comfortable with. She first did a treatment to arrest the decay that would give us more time to fix the cavities. Over time my son was so comfortable with her that he not only co-operated with the fillings but was literally excited for his next visit. Dr Suruchi is the best!!! We argued about the price as we thought we had very good insurance that covers everything. Second time we went there and they did the same thing but this time, after some time, they said "ok, you don't have to pay anything". I would definitely recommend this place for parents who are looking for a great dentist for their kid(s)! My daughter came in with a cavity (that her previous dentist said they wouldn't be able to work on because she is too active when sitting in the chair) so that was when I was referred to here by a friend. Dr. Suruchi was very kind and patient with my daughter. She gave me several alternatives to treat the cavity and spent the time explaining to me all the procedures and costs. My daughter has been asking me every week to come back here because they have a kitchen set in the waiting area and they also play Peppa Pig for the kids to watch when they're in the chair.
