We always enjoy Ted's whenever we go! There's a good food selection and the atmosphere is nice. This time, however, the service was a slow and forgetful as we had to repeatedly look for someone to help us. Overall, still a great place for dining!

I have visited this establishment many times over the years. At this particular visit, I was by myself for breakfast. It wasn't busy on a weekday morning. Service was not the greatest unfortunately. I sat there forever before anyone stopped by. I also sat with empty iced tea glass for a ling time. But then out of blue, another server saw my empty glass asked if he can fill my glass. He definitely saved my experience for the day. Food was good as usual. I got the Farmer's Scramble with a side of sausage patties. Hopefully the service is better for the next visit.

Mother's Day brunch with the family. My son ordered kids waffles plain. They brought it out first with strawberries and we asked kindly for without. They quickly brought out a new waffle. My son ate most of it then asked what's this paper inside the waffle. They had somehow cooked a nutritional label inside the waffle. Unbelievable and disgusting. Manager comped half the breakfast which was a reasonable gesture but we will not be going back. Update - They sent no message back and a $100 gift card. Reasonable gesture but not interested in eating there even for free.

Mexican Street Salad

Came back for lunch today. Got a bowl of tomato soup that I shared with my partner. They say it's made from scratch every day. The soup is very good. There is a rich tomato taste and the purée has a crushed tomato texture (as opposed to it being a "flat" soup). It's hard for me to describe, but it's really good soup. It is a bit salty, though. My partner had the Mexican Street Salad, with a nice portion of properly prepared (asked for medium rare, and it was) carne asada. I had the Szechuan Hot Chicken Sandwich with fries. It was excellent. An Asian flair, with a good amount of heat (but not overpowering). The heat was countered by the crisp Cole slaw and pickle slices in the sandwich. Everything complemented everything else. The chicken (fried) was a very nice size breast. Even the fries were good and not overly salted. The service was hit and miss. When we were done with our soup appetizer, the empty bowl sat on the table till the check came. Our water glasses were empty a couple of times. The service was the weak point the last time we were here, although this was a step up from last time. The food here is very good and we'll be back. I just wish they could figure out a way to provide good service consistently.

Hand battered chicken nuggets, truffle fries with ketchup and cilantro lime ranch.

The Happy Hour Meal is the perfect snack before going to see a movie. This month it was hand-battered chicken nuggets, truffle fries with ketchup and cilantro lime dips. The meal arrived quick and the chicken had a perfectly crispy outer shell that reminded me of fish and chips. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with only a hint of truffle. Overall a great meal and quick service on a Wednesday evening.

Service was good, no wait time. Sat outside on this beautiful summer day which was comfortable. Came for breakfast and food was good.

Sad, seaweed salad soaked soba noodles. DO NOT GET IT.

I've dined here several times over the years because friends request it. I have enjoyed the foods none of those times. I've gotten something different every time hoping to maybe strike gold but no dice. Last time I got the shiitake hash for takeaway. It was awful. The potatoes and mushrooms were both hard and cold. The egg on top was overcooked. Hollandaise sauce, which I normally omit, made it barely edible. Yesterday, I went with some friends and got an ahi tuna noodles dish. It was disgusting. I like seaweed salad but this thing was drenched in it. I couldn't take a bite without seaweed salad soaked soba noodles. There was a miniscule amount of tuna on top that was chewy. If you're forced to dine here, get something fried. The fried pickles were good. It's hard to screw that up. Service was fine and I like that they're flexible with splitting bills. Honestly if someone suggests coming here, suggest somewhere else.

truffle mac and cheese

went to this place for a quick meal last night, burger was dry :( the truffle mac and cheese bites weren't bad to me; I personally enjoyed them. The bourbon smash tasted like just maple and liquor mixed together, and the blueberry mule was okay... not my favorite drink. The server didn't ask us how we wanted our burgers cooked so it arrived well done (maybe our fault for not double checking or letting our server know)

Big Mark platter, side of Tillamook Cheddar Grits, and strawberry Ted's Tart

We wanted to get out of the area and venture out to here for brunch. We arrived at 1pm thinking our reservation was here, but it wasn't when confirmed oops my bad. Anyway, the check in was accommodating and we were seated in less than 5 minutes, a win! The restaurant was packed but ordered were pushing and good vibes and music as well. We ordered crab cake Benedict with hash browns, side of cheddar grits, side chicken sausage links, the bug Mark, and two green juice with turmeric and ginger. Oh forgot, we tried the tart which is childhood play on pop tarts. Everything was delicious except the tarts. The strawberry was better than blueberry, which I will rate them 2.5/5. The juice was good and refreshing and helps clean the palate for the meal. Everything tasted fresh and good quality. They were plentiful and you will wobble out the restaurant.

Always a great place for family time. Breakfast served all day. My little one ordered the kids breakfast for dinner. And pancake came out as the cutest reindeer pancake. Totally made the special family dinner out. Loaded tots were great and crunchy not soggy! We tried the Bavarian pretzels the first time. They were not bad especially if you dipped into the cheese or my tomato soup. Overall a good time and you never know when you'll run into friends at Ted's!

Happy hour meal

Went for the happy hour meal. Great deal for $9.99, the Chicken and fries were well fried and the sauce was delicious. The staff at the bar right when you walk in are friendly. Didn't go past the front door but the decor seemed cute.

Short Rib Stroganoff, Home Style Meatloaf, Mojito and Espresso Martini

Writing this review is making me hungry. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was classy, relaxed, and fun. I might even order the same exact meal next time I visit; it was tasty enough that I want it again. I did taste the homestyle meatloaf too, though, and it was the first meatloaf I've ever liked. Delicious. Thanks for a lovely evening!

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant specifically for my husband's birthday. I made reservations at least a week or two in advance and made sure to put in the comments that it was for my husband's birthday and could they please do something. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived. I ordered the Cherry Blossom latte which was really good! My son loved his matcha also! I ordered the Street Taco Salad. I asked for the carne asada to be cooked medium well. Unfortunately, the meat was inedible. I had to leave it. The rest of the salad was pretty good but not worth the price if the meat isn't edible. My son loved his TUBS combo and the brisket grilled cheese and tomato soup. My husband enjoyed his pancake combo! We had one waiter when we started but then another one took over. No big deal BUT.... I asked for the check, thinking, he might get the hint about the birthday but instead I had to ask if they were going to do something. Then, my husband was like no, don't. But, I let him know that it was put in the comments weeks ago. The waiter brought out one of their pop tarts with a candle. It was nice but not a great save for something that was so important.

They did not come with the normal fixings like horseradish or vinegar. So I was a bit disappointed by that and the presentation wasn't the greatest as well (pictured). I also ordered the smash burger. The burger was very juicy and delicious as well as the fries. The service was good. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. The owner made sure to come and visit us as well to ensure we did not need anything. That was well received and appreciated. It was a great time. Cheers!

We decided to go to Silver Diner because we enjoy sitting outside viewing the lake. When we walked in we were greeted by the friendly host who took us to the outside patio hostess to put our name down on the waitlist. Once we put our name on the waitlist we had to wait 15 min for a table which wasn't bad. Once we were seated our waitress came over (Milka) and explained the menu and took our order. She was very friendly and attentive at first but then fell off during the remainder of the service. We ordered two cups of coffee and the mimosa flight. The first cups of coffee came out quickly. It took a little while for the mimosa flight to come up but that was understandable. Then we ordered our food. We ordered Belgian waffles with bacon and scrambled eggs with cheese. We also ordered two eggs over easy with bacon and home fries. Like I mentioned earlier the food is never a disappointment. All the food came out quickly, and hot and tasted delicious. While we were enjoying our food we had to ask multiple waiters to bring us more coffee because our waiter did not come back to check on us for a long period of time unfortunately. Normally waiters come back periodically to check on the table but she did not. She only came to check on us when she saw us asking our waiters for coffee. When she approached our table it seemed as though she had an attitude. We asked her for cream and sugar she brought it over right away but slammed it on the table with her attitude. Overall, we had a decent experience. I wish our waiter was more attentive and friendly. But the food was good. So we will be back for food with hopes that the service improves.

I have to say, though busy, the service didn't miss a beat. Jenn - our server - was attentive/kind and fun. I got the filet mignon with the compound butter and my homie got some BBRibs to complement the aforementioned cornbread. The food came out fast and we got to eating. As always with every time I've been here, it slapped. Sides were solid, the steak was cooked to perfection and them ribs were disappearing off the plate! Good times. We followed up our entrees with a solid - and I mean solid - bread pudding. Jeez, this thing is decadent, but we got after it. Jenn brought us a scoop of ice cream and we went to town! Delicious. If you've got a sweet tooth, do yourself a favor and grab the Bread Pudding. It was soft, pillowy, but sweet (not overly sweet) and filling. As for ambiance, again, we were kickin it patio side and could see the water just fine. Honestly, this was a dope backdrop for our super deep convo on Frank Ocean vs. Frankie Beverley. A bit expensive imo, but ok for business expense accounts and special events- like having a lobster roll craving. FYI- it's reasonably possible to make your own lobster roll at home with little effort and a better traditional result and price. Buy frozen lobster meat ( tail and claw) from a good source like Cameron's Seafood. No cooking or picking needed. Nothing we ordered was bad, but nothing really stood out enough to make me want to come back. The quality was solid, but I left feeling like there are better breakfast options in the area for the same price point. If you work nearby or are visiting one of the surrounding medical offices or hospitals, I could definitely see this being a convenient spot for a quick breakfast or lunch. However, as someone visiting the area, I don't think it's a place I'd go out of my way to return to.
