My water glass was very dirty and nobody ever came by the table in 90 minutes to refill our water. We were seated right next to the bar too. We were continually informed by our waitress and a barback that things were slow due to the large party in the other room. After 90 minutes passed and we still had not received our food, we asked to speak to the manager. When the manager came to our table, she did not introduce herself, so we had to assume she was the manager. Rather than own the mistake, she proceeded to throw our waitress under the bus. Our waitress was great and doing the best she could, but the restaurant was severely understaffed. They offered us free bread. We finally decided to get up and walk out and leave without being served our food. The manager chased us out the front door to bring our food in to-go boxes and as we were leaving, the entire hockey team was also leaving and getting back on their bus. So in the time we arrived for our reservation and after 90 minutes without being served, they came, ate and left. We were told this was a learning moment for her waitress, however, should be a learning moment for management to staff appropriately or just close the restaurant down to feed 50+ hockey team members.
