Beware! Check your credit card charges. Mine alerted me, asking if I left a 49% tip. I did not. The manager seemed less than concerned of any wrong doing stating they probably just couldn't read my handwriting. Not likely to have misread both my tip and total so I'm calling BS on that. He did refund my tip amount. Also, they served me iced tea that looked like soup. I commented on it to the server, but it was not removed from my bill. Flew into Fargo and wanted to grab lunch before continuing on our travels. Teddy's was convenient, service was great, and the food was delicious. We got the grilled cheese and the Chicken Bacon Badlands and split them. Both were super yummy and the soup dipper was a great addition! read more

Food was fine, but took forever to get my check. I was disappointed that there's barely anything about Teddy Roosevelt despite being named after him (apparently he lived in Fargo for a period and may have spent time in this very building). All I could see was a single painting above the kitchen of him as a Rough Rider, a 46 star American flag, and a few menu items named after him. My table had a painting of Jimi Hendrix on the wall, which was definitely weird. My advice to restaurant staff: don't be shy of the theme of your restaurant. Teddy Roosevelt appeals to many today as a conservationist, cowboy, soldier, president, and Nobel Peace Prize winner. Next to every table, put up photos, political cartoons, quotes, Bull Moose party campaign posters, and other such things. And take down Jimi Hendrix. read more

Sat there for 15 mins, no waitress or nothing. Bartender was to busy talking to 2 ladies at the bar. Horrible service (or lack ther of) walked out without an eye being blinked. Just popped in to Fargo for a work trip- stopped into Teddy's. Great vibe, staff is friendly and attentive. I got the veggie naan and tomato basil soup- delicious I know they have recently re-branded and changed somethings, not sure what it was like previously but this is a winner! read more

Upon going to order food we were finally told that there was a total of 4 or so menu items available tonight as they were out of nearly everything. I really wanted to love this place, I think it was formally Rosie's..The ambience is nice and quaint, but the food is just terrible. All of their food is just a deli that they put on a conveyer behind the counter to somewhat warm it up and serve it. We had the "fondue" which was a bowl of melted (somewhat) cheese, with no heat source underneath to keep it warm. We received four pieces of small bread with it, asked for more and then had to pay quiet a bit to eat the cheese. We then tried the beer cheese soup, that tasted like it came from a plastic bag, reheated. Ended it with the chicken sandwich and another sandwich that were mediocre, at best. (That's probably giving it too much credit) This place is very expensive and not worth the price. The drinks look tasty, so perhaps that's where it's at. The service is okay, our waitress was new and admitted that, but did not know anything about timing with food. That was a bit odd to receive those questions. Overall, not a good deli to eat at for the price they serve. The food strongly reminds me of hospital food. Hope it gets better! read more

I recently had my daughter's 16th birthday party here, and It was a huge success! I worked with Michael and Josh and between the two of them pulled off an amazing party. Even though my party was for about 35 teenagers, Michael worked with me as if I was planning a wedding. He took time to review the menu, provided options, met with me and went over the space to make sure the event was everything my daughter wanted. On the night of the party Josh was there to help me set up. He made sure the food was ready, and worked with me all night to make sure everything was perfect. Josh and the entire staff were amazing to work with and everyone was so kind. They treated the kids with so much respect and all worked to make sure the party went off without a hitch. The back room and loft area are absolutely stunning with the glass chandelier and all the rustic charm of the original building. The food was delicious, and the pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely be looking for another reason to throw a party, so I can work with them again! If you need a place to host an event, you will not be disappointed if you hold it at Teddy's! read more

We were tourists in Fargo and had lunch at Teddy's. We loved it! I had the "BGT" with bacon, Gouda cheese and tomato - it was delicious. The bread, which I think was the bread with cranberry and rice in it, was toasted and absolutely wonderful; the cheese had that fabulous ooey-gooey quality that you want in a good grilled cheese sandwich. My husband got the sandwich with beef on it; I can't remember what it is called but he also loved it. Each lunch was served with barbecue potato chips and a really good dill pickle.
