My two preteen daughters and I are visiting local family and came in to the kids shoe department on Sunday. It was very busy and I completely get that and I'm very understanding. But we felt like the woman waiting on us was doing us a favor. She would only bring out one shoe size at a time, not a few and as many people know sizing is not always easy many times you need a couple different shoe sizes for kids. My 12 year old tried on a sneaker, needed the next size up and when I asked, the saleswoman just pointed up, which I interpreted meant I needed to take her to the women's for the next size. Ok, that's fine, but there is a nice way to say it and pointing isn't it. My other daughter loved a pair of sneakers. The saleswoman disappeared so I walked up to the sales counter to pay. An extremely rude woman barked at me "you need a receipt or an order number to return". I said "Actually I want to BUY these." At that point she literally walked away and found the saleswoman who had disappeared on me. If my daughter had not really wanted the shoes I would have walked away. I felt like I was in that scene in Pretty Woman! I am a long time Nordstrom shopper and card holder and spend thousands of dollars there yearly. I am seriously considering taking my business elsewhere. By no means was this a high end shopping experience or even a pleasant one.

Probably will buy online more than in person...my total was $351 and my sister about $300 as well. After finding several pairs of shoes I was interested in - I saw there were none out on the shelves in my size - so I asked for help. A young man came over to help me - I told him which three pairs I was interested in - 11.5 Wide. So he says to me: 10.5 Wide - right? No. I reiterate I want 11.5 Wide. He goes in the back and comes out with a pair in 10.5 Wide for one style, and 11.5 Wide in another. No - please - listen to me! I'm not sure what this kid's problem was, but he tells me no more shoes in that size. I try on the one that he did bring out in 11.5 Wide - Bingo! They fit and are comfortable! So I find another pair I want them to check on - this time I am not interacting with Einstein, I find a pleasant young lady named Kelly to help me. She checks - and no - nothing is available. 11.24.25 I have been…read moreon a mission to look for a warm winter coat. My two current winter coats don't keep me warm and I find myself shivering in the winter. My friend told me about their puffer coat so I came on a Tuesday afternoon just to try them on. Daniella, the sales associate, suggested the supersnug fit which was shapelier on me and didn't make me look like the Michelin man. She was patient and helpful. I even commented that she reminded me of Khloe Kardashian and she informed me that several people have said that. I wanted the supersnug coat (classic length: hits between the hip to below the bum) in mocha, but they didn't have it in the store and it was sold out online. She wasn't sure when it would be available so suggested to check back in January. I did purchase the mid-length in black online. I hope it is warm as advertised. Only time will tell.

Almaz urged me to walk around the store with the different shoes and pulled insoles out of pairs to get a better idea of fitting options. The entire time Almaz was amazing help with exceptional customer service, even at the very end of her shift. Needless to say both the Leesburg and Tyson's location had great sales representatives that made the process of finding the right shoes easy and I looking forward to using the pair I purchased!

The last pair of Ecco Shoes I bought still work to this day. Ecco shoes are built to last. The prices for shoes are not cheap, but you are getting your money's worth when you by them. Trying on different shoes, I finally came across some boots called Track 25. Unfortunately, my size wasn't available at the time. Robert was very helpful and told me the next shipment might have the size I need. Robert's professionalism will definitely have me coming back. I stopped by The Shoe Shoppe in Tysons because I have a pair of slingback heels that I love, but…read morethe back strap constantly slips off my foot and makes them almost impossible to walk in. I really wanted to wear them to my cousins wedding and this shop came recommended. I originally thought the strap needed to be shortened, but the staff suggested a different fix. They told me that adding a pad under my foot and a non-slip band on the strap would solve the issue. It helped a little, but not completely leaving me somewhat disappointed. In addition to not receiving a complete fix, what really disappointed me was the service or lack thereof. The man working there barely looked up from what he was doing and never asked me to try on the shoe to see the problem for himself. He gave short, vague suggestions and seemed uninterested in actually helping. I had to walk back and forth to the shelves three separate times to find the products he mentioned, rather than him taking a moment to show me where they were. The whole interaction felt dismissive and rushed. The shop itself is tucked away inside Tysons Mall, so it is easy to miss unless you are looking for it. While it is convenient if you are already nearby, I would not make a special trip back. For a store that specializes in shoes, I expected more attention and care. The experience left me unimpressed and still struggling with the same pair of shoes.
