It's because of the staff here, I've been able to throw away my pandemic leggings and reintroduce denim into my life. I love how wearable every item is, going from casual to dressy and can be worn for multiple occassions. Perfect for a work from home mama like me. Their accessory section is top notch -- I own several earrings, necklaces, and belts that have held up (and even get better!) over the years. I pick up a pair of sandals and sneakers every season and have found that their selection is comfortable and stylish as well. If you want to ask me what I'm wearing, it's Madewell.

Would not accept return of an obviously defective product…read more I bought a black velvet dress to wear to a formal event. I had to pay cash, as this store does not take credit cards for purchases under $50. The dress was on sale and marked "final sale," so I threw away the receipt. The night of the event, after putting it on and fiddling with it a bit, I found that my fingers and fingernails were covered with blackish, purplish dye, which had rubbed off from the dress. I couldn't wash it off with soap and water, and had to use nail polish remover (and ruin my manicure) to get it off. I had to wear something else. I took the dress back to the store the next day with the tag. The salesperson called her manager to see what to do. The manager hung up on her, then she told me they would not take it back. She said I could come in tomorrow (again) when the manager would be there, but that the sale was final. A final sale of an unwearable dress seems like a big-time consumer fraud to me. I guess the $40 means more to them than their reputation. Needless to say, I will not shop there again.

What a great store and location! The staff was overly ecstatic when I walked in (probably because there was no one else in the store) but were very warm and friendly. I received such great attention in the fitting rooms and the two girls working were suggesting the cutest outfits for me to try. I was very disappointed that this location didnt have men's because I am always looking for new stuff for my husband! Why doesnt this have a men's section?! I am definitely coming back when the weather is warmer and bringing my daughters with me! read more

The formal section is not as extensive as their other location but it was plentiful and they also carry plus size dresses as well, making them more inclusive to whoever may visit. Unlike the location in Pentagon, they have more dressing rooms which is a huge plus!!!! So there is not an extensive wait for a room. The ladies here are sweethearts as they periodically checked in with us to see if we needed anything and assisted in getting a few dresses down. They were always accessible and even assisted with recommendations throughout our visit. Check out was a breeze and if you do buy a dress, they have garment bags for them as well.

All the sales clerks wore nautical outfits down to the deck shoes. They are friendly as a few greeted me yet at the same time, they weren't hovering, which I appreciated. The one I went into was named "skip jack tuna". Both shirts were way too big so I tried the next smallest size. The sizes run really big here so it made my day to fit into a smaller than usual size LOL! I decided to give in and buy a top. However, my husband was urging me to buy 2 of them. So, who was I to argue? I found another one in a different color. I guess he figured that since he just bought some clothes at Macy's (Macy's is the cheap store at the Galleria) that I might as well buy some, too. A sales clerk approached as I was choosing the second top and once I made my choice, she took me over the cash register and rang me up. I washed the shirts when I got home and they held up very well plus the care instructions were not complicated---always a plus! Each shirt had their logo, which is a whale, on it. It's a nice store with friendly staff. I don't go clothes shopping too much so I don't know if I will be back due to the fact that it isn't exactly inexpensive. That said, it's always nice to have a pleasant shopping experience!
