They are the most honest people. 1- Took my iphone because it was not charging, so I though it needed a new battery, but no, they told me it was some dirt in the charge slot, so they clean it and did not charge me and told me battery is fine. Wow. 2- Later I took a computer that my wife gave me. ( use computer from her office) I wanted to put in a bigger hard drive. Then I received a call from DrPhoneFix here at Weston, telling me that the computer had a big hard drive, but it was not connected, that if I still wanted another hard drive. Wow. They blow my mind. Date of service 09/20/2018 - HP Envy 15t-3000, Laptop died will not power on. - After taking laptop to local Best Buy, unit was sent to Geek Squad (Louisville service center). The detailed online service history shows a technician spent 2 minutes and declared laptop irreparable due to a bad motherboard. After a week, laptop was returned and my repair deposit fully refunded by Best Buy. - In desperation took laptop to Dr Phone Fix (Weston). Unit was received by Justin. - After 2 hours Justin called to indicate the problem was fixed by a motherboard reset. I collected the unit and have verified that it is in perfect working condition. - I am extremely happy with the professionalism and level of service at such a reasonable price. My iphone was locked by apple because I had forgotten my apple ID password and tried too many times with a wrong one. there was nothing I could do. David from drphonefix (in Weston) walked thorugh the process and helomed me. I had to wait a few days until I received some info. from apple with a new link where I could create a new password. David again helped me and now my iphone is functional and working again! Not only David is very competent technically but more importantly, he was nice all along the process amd made me feel really welcome as a customer. His name is Justin and he gave the best presentation of his store and the knowledge he showed the way he answered my questions. The store is merchandised smartly, it's clean and anyone who answered my follow up phone call (a tech named Phil comes to mind) was on top of things and attentive. I had an issue with my phone not charging on thanksgiving night. The following morning I went to TMobile and they were less adept at suggesting a solution than I was able to ascertain on my own. Luckily, I saw Dr Phone Fix located a few doors down and went in. Within A couple hours I was called and told to come get my phone.....when I got there they said it was a simple repair and charged me zero. I brought my Samsung Galaxy S6 in for repair not knowing why it would not turn on despite having power. Chelsea quickly diagnosed the problem as being a bad LCD Screen.
