Laptop got a Trojan that wiped the OS completely off of the computer took it in and the next day I was called and they were able to get into the computer and install Windows ten for me it now runs better than before. I love it when businesses have their hours of operation posted in big letters right on the door, and then without notice they're closed. Went out of my way today because I need my phone fixed, and ended up making an uncessesary trip...What's more, once I made sure I came on a day they're supposed to be open (Yelp even says they're still open) I called them (arrived more than an hour before closing time), but the phone kept ringing (not even an answering machine). Downright Miserable Company...They had me waiting 3hrs for an in home service call and couldn't rectify the problem,so they held me hostage by removing the monitor system and brought it back the next day and I still can't access my system...I've called and they block my number and I've requested the owner 5 times to call me back and never has done so...To add insult to injury they bilked me out of 160.00 for the Inconvenience... I took my laptop in to this shop to be fixed after getting a quote on how much it would cost to fix. The young man who was "holding the fort down" said he had not been trained yet on fixing computer. My initial contact was with Eric, one of the owners. He said he could fix the computer in a day. I brought the computer in on a Thursday around 11. I did not hear from them on Friday one way or the other. Called but no answer. Monday, I called again and one of the tech guys said they had tried to resolve my problem and wanted to give it one more try. I finally got the computer back on Wednesday and worse condition than when I bought it in. They said it couldn't be fixed. I was so disappointed. read more

Tech Xpress has been nothing but awesome! In the last two years the company I work for has grown and grown and with our growth means our network and server were basically obsolete. This is the most expensive shop. They tell different price on phone but when you go they are even more expensive. Every week you ask price they will increase. I had not once or twice but thrice bad experience with them and then I searched new shop online which is much cheaper and they are much nicer. I took my laptop originally in for a screen replacement, and I was very happy about the finished product and pricing, but I did have some concerns. They ordered the piece, and realized they got the wrong screen, so they had to reorder the piece. I got the laptop back and two days later took it back with a different issue (that I never had until I picked it up), so I took it back and another piece broke, so they ordered the piece, and again the wrong piece was ordered, so I had to wait until the piece came in. I do understand that mistakes happen. Although I did have some issues, I can say they were willing to repair and work with me to make my experience better. read more

I writing a review about a shop I have visited in the past for PC Repair. I didn't get a chance to write a review because I was just satisfied that my Laptop was repaired. They were back logged at the time so it took about a week but I was satisfied. I had to make a return trip because my Laptop started having issues with the hard drive failing. I stopped by the shop and was greeted by Kyle a technician at the shop. he was very polite and friendly as I explained my issues to him. He stated if I go and get my laptop he could take a look and see if he could clone the computer with a new hard drive and see if he could save my information without reformatting my Laptop. I went home and got my laptop and was greeted again by Kyle and The manager Steven and another Tech named Guang. Kyle jumped right on my laptop and discovered that he would be able to clone my laptop and save my information at a very reasonable price and I was extremely happy. So he went to work while I had a very good intelligent conversation with Steven the manager and I was asking all sorts of questions about there services which include Surveillance IP cameras and other items. I was very impressed on how intelligent the employees at this business are and how they will go to extended links to resolve and take care of their customers. This has been the best experience I have dealing with a business and trying to trust them. I have have numerous issues with business's not being truthful and straight out lying to you. To make a long story short I highly recommend this business for PC repair and IP Cameras and their IT Support. They are second to none. as they strive and grow to become Bakersfield best. I don't usually put my business out for everyone to see, but I want to warn other individuals that might go to Techxpress at 4501 Stine Rd #205, Steven and the other owners are nothing but crooks! I purchased a computer from them when the pandemic was in full swing I thought helping out a small business owner in our community and in my own neighborhood would help these businesses survive, I couldn't of been more wrong in my decision. I purchased a PC from them I explained what I needed to the Tech, well I brought the computer home and I couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi I called them immediately and the response I didn't know you needed to connect by Wifi, yes they did since that was one of the items I requested in the new computer I was purchasing so I had to pay extra for that, then I was told by the Tech that all my files would be transferred by them, well they didn't do that either I had to buy a seperate piece of hardware to connect to the old hard drive and transfer the files myself. I continued to have problems I asked for my money back within days of getting their piece of garbage. I continued to have problems and I would call and send texts with picture and they stated I had a on e year warranty well that's not true either. I finally had to take it back and guess what they wanted to charge me for them to look at it, again my one year warranty is still active, I have had enough with Techxpress shoddy business practices. All I can say this is no way to treat a consumer prior to buying the PC they were the nicest people and after you buy it and you figure out you have been screwed they laugh at you and mock you. read more
