This review is a mixed bag of wonderful and ?????? I have an old Kindle, that was a special gift, and would no longer charge. I took it to uBreakIFix and Jose repaired it. The good: He did ask for a deposit and the total cost was very reasonable. His attitude was friendly and professional The front area was clean and neat. The negatives had nothing to do with the quality of work. The ???: The Kindle was returned wrapped in plastic wrap and handed to me. I had to take it home, and charge it to see if it was repaired. (My bad, I should have asked to see if it worked). Jose wore his hat backwards. Guess he was having a bad hair day. When we walked in, the shop was completely empty with an eerie voice from the back saying, thank you I'll be right with you. Would there be someway to install some sort of partial partition so when a customer walks in they could see there was a live body actually there? I dropped my game PS5 month ago, and I finally pick up on April 24th, i excited to play the game, next day it broken complete. Not working anymore? I bring back the store complaint. They say I'm sorry, but I can't fix it again until you need a file claim? I don't get it? I dropped a year ago. I paid for it with a warrant for 1 year now. He needed a claim? Claim? The Ming Avenue location provided one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in quite some time. I was assisted by two different representatives on separate days, and both interactions were marked by indifference and unprofessional behavior. Ultimately, my phone was not repaired, and I was left with no option but to replace the device. Based on my experience, along with similar concerns reflected in other customer reviews, I will be recommending that AT&T reconsider its partnership with uBreakiFix for phone repair services. Customers are paying for insurance coverage yet receiving poor service and, in many cases, no resolution--falling short of the level of service being paid for and expected. so it's been 4 weeks already and my console still hasnt been worked on I called them every time just to see if I can get an update And it seems like they're ignoring phone calls.My console just needed a deep clean and thermal paste which only takes a week. It is important that everyone reads this as a warning before walking into the store so they know what and who they are dealing with... Jose, the manager, tried to scam us the moment we walked in. He demanded $30-$100 to fix my phone screen, fully knowing my phone was under warranty. I had just received it from Asurion less than a month ago. He outright lied to our faces instead of filing a warranty claim to fix the phone for free, which was the right thing to do. The phone, a refurbished replacement, arrived malfunctioning from the start. When we returned to the store, thankfully, a technician--not Jose--helped us and did an amazing job. I feel bad for the technicians and employees who work there. Their manager is a liar. Jose should be ashamed of himself for lying to customers and taking advantage of them. As a salesperson myself, I know the importance of honesty and giving clients the best deal. Jose is the opposite of that and gives all salespeople a bad name. He needs to find another career because clearly, integrity and customer service aren't for him. read more

An employee, who goes by the name "Z," was extremely helpful, and worked with his team to get my latest model iPhone to work. I was unable to unlock my phone, after it had been unresponsive since midnight. I tried just about everything, but it would not shut down or restart at all. Fortunately, he conferred with his repair staff, who had solved the same problem a few days ago, and we got it going. My phone is my LIFELINE. I am a disabled man in his 70's, and they saved me a trip to The Valley Plaza mall, where they have a great Apple Store, but it's a painful ordeal for me to get to the it, even though it's only about 10 doors down. At this place, near the Studio Movie Grill, and right next store to Little Caesar's Pizza, was able to pull up and park about feet from their front door! The best part is, like once before, they didn't charge a penny! I took my phone in for a screen replacement-should've been a pretty simple thing, and it seemed to be. However, after receiving the phone back, I noticed that the phone no longer connected to the internet on cellular data. I went back to the store and was told there was no way they messed it up and I needed a new SIM card-so I got one. Issue unresolved, and they refuse to take responsibility or fix whatever their mistake was, and I have a phone that doesn't work properly anymore. read more

I am super frustrated with this process. My laptop had broken, and I was in the process of moving so I chose to take my laptop to this store vs shipping for the repair. I dropped my laptop off three weeks ago, they ordered parts and received the wrong parts twice and decided instead of talking to me they were going to ship my laptop out without my authorization. Now that I am at a different address the company they shipped to will not send it back to me unless it goes back to the previous address. So I am forced to take a buyout. They never reached out to me to ask if it was okay. They just sent me a text saying that they had already shipped it out. read more

I cracked the screen of my I-13 on Saturday while hiking El Pasos Peak. This is the first time this has ever happened to my phones so I was a bit sad. This place sucks some twink looking beach with tattoos told me my fold 4 cracking on the main screen underneath the screen protector wasn't a warranty repair but it was samsung just did it themselves for free oh but of course they charged me for a screen protector which aperently I was supposed to get for free (aserion charged me not samsung) don't go here on Monday the employees working Sunday told me everything was good and was going to be done under warenty i show up Monday July 10 around 11am and now its a whole different story and they want 20$ for a fake ass screen protector read more

I went in today because my phone screen was completely black I couldn't do NOTHING with my phone. Make phone calls, receive phone calls, text, turn on or turn off my phone, charge my phone. I even tried rebooting my phone NOTHING worked. So I decided to go to Best Buy and they told me to come here. And Garret helped me today and he was soooo extremely courteous and friendly and he determined I needed a new screen. He replaced it faster than he said he would. For the first time coming here I loved it and will keep coming here. They saved me the trouble of having to buy a new phone. Thanks guys. Brought my phone in, the problem was assessed and I was given an accurate time when it would be available for pick up.

I called the place, they said it would cost $67.75 to fix my broken iPhone 11 screen, and when I got there, they said it would cost more than two times than that! Kind of what I expected, they were really nice, but I think they need to upgrade their staff, because the price that I was given on the phone was totally incorrect.
