I just had the best experience this afternoon at the Bakersfield California Avenue location of UBreakiFix by Asurion! For some reason, my carrier was trying to get me to replace my iPhone13. I just had some scratches on the screen so All I wanted was a new screen. I stopped in the store on a whim to see if someone could advise me. Wyatt, the manager, and John were both so helpful! They went beyond the extra mile. Wyatt had me call the helpline while I was sitting in the store. The rep was unable to hear me very well, so Wyatt spoke to him on my behalf. Wyatt really got the ball rolling and the rep reopened claim for a new screen. Voila!! John had the new screen put on in Only 15 minutes!!! I am beyond impressed. The helpful service I received! I highly recommend this California Avenue location of uBreakiFix by Asurion! read more

Quick, easy battery replacement! Ian came to my home and replaced my battery in his uBreakiFix van; the process took all of 20 minutes. Super convenient for busy people! I am one happy customer! A++ read more

I filed a claim online to schedule service through Asurion. Online scheduling was easy enough to manage and I was able to come in same day, hoping for a quick fix. Unfortunately, phone screen was too damaged that Face ID cannot be activated any longer. Additionally, owner of device cannot remember iCloud pw so Find My iPhone feature cannot be turned on so the fix can be applied. Nonetheless, Kevin gets an A for effort as he did his best to provide some solutions. To no avail, the device was damaged to the point of no return. Best that could be done was apply tape on screen to hold it in place as it makes its way to Asurion. read more

About two months ago I took my HP laptop in for repairs. They told me they could not fix it and sent me on my way. Today I had a cell phone mishap and they could not or would not fix it either. Not sure what it is that they do fix but they sent me on my way twice. Not recommended, not competent nor willing to work on my devices. uBreakiFix is certainly NOT an accurate description of my experiences with this place. read more

Honestly I don't even know this company is still in business. I brought my iPhone 17 Pro in for a screen repair...and got it back with half the screen outside the phone...you would think they would do a precise job if their going to make you wait 3 hours. Unfortunately that wasn't the case... When I came back to receive my phone guy had no respect with my phone...he gave it back with his grimy hands all over the camera, handling the phone like if it was his... They gave me my phone back knowing the screen wasn't placed properly, when I took notice I told him right then and there...he took my phone...back came back 5 minutes later said that they had to run it under the press again. When I got my phone back for the second time the bottom of the screen still wasn't set...he knew that and said it will sit over time. If you got this far into my review save yourself a whole lot of time and money by staying away from this shit hole. Terrible job...Terrible service... p.s. leaving this review so no one else gets fucked over by them... read more

They are excellent. I've taken a Galaxy S10+ and they were able to retrieve all of the contacts and text messages even though the phone wouldn't come on anymore. They were finished with in two hours. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Very nice people, quality work and reasonable prices. read more

I had not been here before or needed such a service, thankfully. I needed a cracked screen fix. $219.99 plus tax. Sigh. And there goes my expensive liquid glass screen protector too that I will soon need to replace elsewhere. My phone is fairly new too, life happens. So, I did not love the price BUT, they use Samsung products that I like (for my phone) and they are very friendly here. Calling by phone... you sometimes never know if Fresno is getting the call or Bakersfield so there was a bit of run around there. I don't like the congested, far away (from me) location but it is what it is. It's next the Firehouse sub place if you are picturing where on California they are in the plaza at 3700. I did LOVE Erica, she does intakes. No appointments needed or maybe they don't even take them. But, she is so friendly and loves her customers. She was happily complaining that her computer was slow... they need a new one for a high tech place. I waited awhile a few times here now as I stopped in to inquire on Sat, a Mon drop off and Mon pick up. They need another intake person and another register. It can take awhile even if only 1 person is ahead of you. The manager, Kimmy that I did not really get to talk to, did an amazing job on my phone and after 4 hours, it looks like new. Sometimes it takes 2 hours or overnight. All depends on the day and when you bring your phone in time wise. Hopefully, like me, you have a laptop or another phone number as they are especially great at communication when your phone is being worked on to start and then when it's ready for pick up. 4 stars. I would use them again and recommend them 100% as a small business but there is room for improvement. Thanks for everything! read more

I've been dealing with this place about replacing my PS5 for almost a year now. they first incorrectly entered my console serial number into the system when they should've and because of that I was unable to get my asurion claim done . it got rejected a manager said to resolve the mistake on their end he would charge me $250 to fix it. month later still have not fixed it when I call they give me the run around save yourself some time and look elsewhere. tony sr. read more

I needed to fix an issue with a Flip Z3, a foldable phone which came pre-installed with a screen protector from the factory. I didn't know if it was the protector or the display that had an issue, but I brought it in, and was informed that it was just the protector. She was able to cut up another screen protector and she installed it in 10 minutes. The application was pretty spot on. No air bubbles or anything like that. I liked the honesty in assessing the problem and the speed of fixing stuff. This is why people have to jump on board with right to repair. read more

DON'T GO HERE!!! I have been to this place (on California Avenue) four times in last two weeks. They charged me and didn't fix my broken iPhone camera. I went back, there was an hour wait; They said if I came back Sunday, they could fix it. Sunday, got there 20 minutes before they were scheduled to open at noon. They opened the doors at 12:10, but said the technician was on his way. He showed up 30 minutes later and told me my phone could not be fixed there that day -- after the other guy specifically told me to come that day. AND, they said my $35 deposit could not be refunded that day. This place is the worst. read more

So hot in the building and the guy lied to my face saying he had installed something before but didn't know certain details about a device. Why don't they have a ac in there? Poor guys. read more

I had a wonderful experience with this store. I was told that they may not be able to fix my phone. I appreciated that they were honest with me from the beginning. The problem with my phone was that my power button was broken, and I couldn't turn on my phone. I had the phone for less than a year, and it had a warranty through Samsung. They were able to fix it with zero cost to me. I was definitely grateful and happy that they saved me a big hassle. read more

It seems cell service providers are giving less and less service. If you are having problems transferring data, or with any other cell service, I highly recommend this company. read more

Took my phone in with a cracked screen. Fixed and repaired in a couple hours, phone works like new.

Terrible customer service and work ethic. They were supposed to fixe my cell phone, but ended up damaging it and losing my memory card. I took the phone in the same day the employee did the negligent work and they refused to fix it or replace my memory card. read more
