I went there because my gaming pc would turn on but not connect to my monitors, keyboard or even my mouse. Swat pc clearly know what they are doing and know what they are talking about. I told them the issues and what I did to try to fix it, they really cared about everything I had to say and the information I provided. They charged 60 for a diagnostic for a gaming pc which is a good price for the service and care provided. I was updated about the steps taken and even notified that they would work during after hours to find the problem. The problem ended up being the motherboard so I provided them with the part and a new case for my pc and asked if they could change it since they are going to take everything out which they gladly did. With them changing my motherboard and pc case I got a very fast repair with excellent service from generous manager and they even ziptied and organized my wires. It works and look amazing. I cannot say enough positive things about this store. I called SWAT after striking out at Best Buy, as I needed a hardware repair and fast, as I was going to be moving at the end of the week. Brent was so incredibly helpful on the phone, and let me know that it would likely take longer than a week to fix my laptop but that I can feel free to stop by and see if he can adjust it just enough so that it's useable. I did just that, and when Brent realized that the part I needed may arrive in time for him to fix it before I had to move, I agreed to take that chance and leave my laptop in his care. Some unforeseen circumstances ended up happening later that day that could have potentially affected the arrival time for the parts, but Brent worked tirelessly that afternoon after discovering he had the same laptop on hand that was set to be recycled. I had my laptop back in my hands, like brand new, less than 24 hours later. The service and care that Brent provided was incredible, and thanks to him I was able to start my new job without a hitch due to his quick thinning and effort. Took the computers in and within a few hours I had my answers. He ordered a part and I got my computer back in few days and he only charged for the part not labor. Technician James Lanik has terrible customer service skills. My first time looking for computer tech help on a hardware issue outside of Best Buys Geek Squad and Technician James was very rude, condescending, and passive aggressive. He overly explains with unnecessary tangents and irrelevant information. I.e.: When i asked when he would have an estimate ready for me, he was arrogant and belittling. His response could have been, " i will try to get you that by this afternoon/tomorrow," some time frame given his workload, but instead He diverted the answer by staying he would have to research for particular computer model and year to have that information as though that wasn't common sense already! Overly explaining and quiet annoying. They say Geeks don't have social skills but this was a new experience for me and made very unpleasant by the employee at Swat PC! Not to mention he pulls a box of batteries he has replaced for previous customers. Not the best selling point, just shows he lacks educating his customers rather than ridicule them. It is just astonishing that Swat PC gets any customers coming back to work with characters like James Lanik. Tisk tisk! read more

Came in the next day to get it serviced and told him all the little problems I was having and a few days later I got a call to tell me it was done. I had a 2010 Macbook that I spilled some water on. Took it to BestBuy and they practically laughed at me and said "this is a Vintage Macbook, we don't have these parts"... i was confused by the word vintage in this instance but left and called it a day. Went to SWAT PC and immediately the guys were eager to help and let me know they'd be able to order me the parts i need, and described in full detail what needed to be fixed and if they come across any other issues they'd call me. They found some other issues (it is a 10 yr old laptop so it's to be expected) and described what needed to be done to get them fixed. They went above and beyond with customer service, they even provided photos of the damage that needed to be fixed. The laptop was ready in 3 business days (because of the shipping of parts) and they only charged me $150! I needed a whole knew keyboard, a battery, and a exhaust fan.
