This is an excellent repair shop. I fried my MacBook keyboard when I spilled something in it. They ran some diagnostics and determined that the hard drive was still good. They transferred all the information on the hard drive to a new Mac, and applied the diagnostic fee to the data transfer fee. All this is in a day and a half. Well it started that my lightning charger snapped in half and stayed stuck inside my ipad mini charger port. I took it to the apple store, one click, ubreakifix, etc. to fix and i received no results. all stores always had an excuse to not fix my ipad mini. I was giving up Hope when I found Fix apple now in yelp. I called them with very Lil hope and explained to them the same story as I gave to everyone else and quickly they responded no problem we can fix that problem. I was still doubting them when I brought it in to be fix, but sure enough in two days I had my Ipad fixed fully charged and ready to go. $150 to repair my screen's LCD (the screen itself wasn't broken) is much better than buying a new iPad. I really thought mine was dead, so figured I didn't have much to lose by trying these people. They called me as soon as they got it and it was shipped back the next day. Seems to work fine now! Although the style of their website didn't inspire much confidence, the fact that their physical address had a few more reviews from walk-ins helped. You guys once again have saved my butt!! I can not thank you enough for not giving up on helping me... I bring all my Apple products to them for service because they are very knowledgeable about diagnosing the issue, honest and upfront, reliable and reasonable as far as price. I have been to AT& T three times here in Florida & once in Virginia, been to Apple twice all trying to help me figure out why my phone kept saying "No Service" or "No SIM Card" and I tried backing it up and did something wrong in the process. I had to purchase a go phone while in Virginia but have been lost without my info. I had no contacts, no calendar, no notes, pictures, songs etc. Mike was able to fix the problem & correct what I had done wrong and retrieve ALL of my information (something no one from the other stores even really seemed to care about) I can't tell you how AWESOME they are!!! I found Mikhail (the owner) by chance in 2009 when I needed to fix a shattered screen on my iPhone. I am a single mom of 2 and get taken for a ride quite often by retailers & service people but he & his staff have always been honest with me, very reasonable & never let me down...I live all the way out by Alligator Alley and now take my phone to his store located on Hallandale Beach Blvd.(which is very easy to find) and them go to the dinner next store while they work their magic. I would not let ANYONE else touch my phone (with the exception of Apple) because I have heard some stories about people having their iPhone worked on and then when they got it back they had other issues. I am like a "bull in a china shop" when it comes to electronics so I am forever dropping my phone and screwing up something. After driving 45 min in traffic to get to this place, I get in before they close at least 20 minutes before they close. The front desk girl tells me they will not even attempt to fix my phone because they need at least 30 minutes to do so. I plead as I'm going out of town and this just happened and this is my last opportunity to fix my phone and I busted my butt to get here in time. She tries to ask the tech person again and comes back with well there's no guarantee if they put the screen on that it would work so they need time. If a customer comes into your establishment before you close you serve them to completion. That's how it works. If that's not how you want to do business you need to let people know that ahead of time (because I called earlier), a disclaimer if you will. I've seen people come into nail salons that close at 7 at the same time as I entered this place and still get served. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Update to my previous review Less than a week after I got my LCD replaced, the screen popped out without me dropping it or anything. Naturally, since I did pay a lot of money to get it fixed, I was kind of angry. I took my phone back to Fix Apple Now and I explained what had happened. In the process of me explaining it, I accidentally dropped my phone on the ground right in front of them. I thought to myself that there was no way that they would fix it for me now but the guy at the counter just laughed with me. He told me that my phone was still under warranty from them and he replaced the screen free of charge within 30 minutes. Plus, they even threw in a free temper glass. It's so hard to find good customer service these days and I couldn't be happier with the way that Fix Apple Now treats their customers. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is having problems with their phone as you won't find a better Apple repair store anywhere else! I went into the store to inquire about some liquid damage to my iPhone 4S that I had incurred during a large down pour of rain. I had put my phone in rice for two days but eventually it started turning off on it's own. The guy in the front was very knowledgeable and helpful, I dropped off my phone and although they estimated a few hours for it to be properly serviced and checked they called me back within two hours. My phone is now working great and I appreciated their fast and honest service, I only had to pay for the minimal work required with no sneaky add-on services. They did a great job on my MacBook Pro. I had a hard drive problem, and they were very thorough about diagnosing and fixing it; other places I consulted wanted to wipe out and reformat everything after performing an expensive recovery service, but FAN found that there was a different connection issue with the hard drive. The machine works as good as new now and the price was very competitive vs. Geek Squad or Apple's service, I would recommend them highly. read more

I broke the screen on my IPhone 4 on Thanksgiving Day. I stopped by their store/shop in Hallandale the next morning. The store is neat, clean, and very professional. There is parking in the rear. I met another customer in the parking lot and he was very happy with his fixed iPad. I gave my broken iPhone to the cute young woman at the desk. The technicians work on the phones and computers in the back room. The young woman asked if I wanted to wait. I opted to leave on an errand. I came back in just under an hour and my phone was as good as new. You could never tell there was anything wrong with it. The cost ($80) was a good deal for me. I talked to the tech and he blamed the FedEx shipping but said to send it back, they would recheck it and they would cover shipping. When we went to ship it the store refused to pay shipping. best service i have had on my apple products - even better than the apple store

This review is based entirely in my personal experience. FixAppleNow is not as ethical as you may think. I was quoted $175 dollars for a brand new unibody keyboard plus labor for a MacBook Unibody 13". Later during the day I was called to confirm that a replacement for a new keyboard was necessary and in fact it was $179 and not $175 because they had quoted it wrong. "That's fine", I said. It happened, to my surprise, that they replaced the keyboard for an used one instead of a new keyboard as I was quoted! This is by far the most deceiving people I have dealt with in a long time and I will take the time to explain it to you why. For many customers not understanding what they are getting for their money this might be fine. I'm an ACSP myself (Apple Certified Support Professional) and I could certainly do the work they did for me for a far better price. A brand new Apple Unibody keyboard can be purchased from sites such as Ebay or Amazon for $70 - $90 dollars. Didn't wanting to wait few days on the shipping and willing to gift that Macbook Unibody to a relative as soon as possible, I hired these thieves to do the work for me. The keyboard, as any other used piece of hardware, had scratches on it from daily wear and tear. I kindly asked Ana (the employee that "will take care of you" when you get to their store) why my keyboard had been replaced with a used keyboard when I had been quoted to pay for a brand new one. This lady is dishonest in my opinion, beware. She is the one that answers the phone all the time and also the person who will give you a quote. Instead of addressing my question and showing concern for what was happening she went off by asking me: "Is that a problem for you? - Pointing to the scratches on the used keyboard. IN FACT IT IS! How does she even dare to face a customer that she has personally quoted a price for a job with such disrespect? A customer pays for a brand new item, a brand new item is due to be delivered! To make the long history short, I was presented to the technician who did the job (this is the first signal of a run-around). I had to take the time to explain him that I knew that what I was getting was just plain wrong. Just so you know, when an unibody macbook keyboard is replaced you are replacing the entire top cover of your macbook's keyboard. It's all a one piece item! that includes the hand rests on both sides of the keyboard and it may or may not include the trackpad depending on where you buy the replacement item. You shouldn't expect your new keyboard to have any scratches at all! - I got a $10 discount. Finally, my real concern goes beyond me to all other daily customers who use their service without knowing that they may not be getting what they are paying for. Quoting/pricing for a new item and replacing it with a used one is not bad customer service, that's call deceiving advertisement! Also punishable by federal law. I wasn't looking for a $10 discount! I was looking to get a broken item replaced for a new one as I paid for. Customers are interested in what you can do for them. What you can't do is not relevant. Not it is relevant a $10 dollars discount when a customer finds out that he/she is been scammed! Beware! It is not problem to replace your broken item with refurbished, used, fully functional ones. The real problem is that you may think you are paying for a new item replacement when you are actually paying for used equipment. These people must be audited or investigated. Take their business data/ invoices, analyze what kind of hardware they have replaced on customers' equipments and compare it to their stock and inventories. I'M CERTAINLY SURE, BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE, THAT THEY WILL BE FACING A JUDGE IN A BLINK OF AN EYE! Be very careful when dealing with these people, try to understand and get as much information as possible before you use their deceptive-service. read more
