I was heading to Trinidad for carnival & had a t-mobile I needed to get unlocked. Called initially in hopes of getting a quote over the phone but because I was incapable of determining which model of the Galaxy S I had, I ended up going in. Located right off Taft St & Douglas Rd in the same shopping plaza as Punta Cana restaurant, they're easy to find with great customer service. They were able to tell me the cost in less than 5 minutes. I determined it wasn't worth getting it unlocked for $45 when I can buy a $20 blackberry from the swap shop. She completely understood & welcomed me to come back if I had any other needs! Small & clean but smelled like cigarette smoke which was a turnoff for me hence the reason for the 4 stars. I'm not sure if the smoke was coming from the bar next door & coming through the vent which I'm sure was the case. They can't help that but may consider moving once they've become a bit more established. No biggie but a slight concern for me. Support this small business in Pembroke Pines. In less time than you can eat your lunch, you could have the screen to your phone professionally fixed, literally. That was my experience last Saturday after my iPhone plopped on the tile floor in the lobby of the post office. The patron standing directly behind me in the miserable, "last call for service" customer line at the post office seemed more shocked by what happened than me. In his attempt to bring some comfort, he mentioned the phone repair shop in the same plaza. I felt instantly perked up as I pulled up. That was short lived. With only 1 customer waiting, I was told that my choice would be to remain without my phone for 2 days or to return on Monday and wait around. Uh - I think not. So then I went into my Yelp search for someplace close, that could fix it the same day, without paying out the nose. That's how I came across IRepair. The crazy thing is that they're located in the same plaza that I went to for Zumba class that same morning, 2 doors away. But that's how it goes. You only find the thing you're looking for when you search it out are really in need. The folks here were great. By the way, the 90 day guarantee spoke to me. I expected a great outcome and that was exactly what I got. I even picked up a new protective case that was very affordable and nice. Although they have a clean and comfortable waiting area, I headed out to my car with the hope of getting started on my lunch. The estimated time for the full replacement of the screen would be 30 minutes, but believe me when I tell you it only took 10 minutes! Really, one of the guys came out to give me the thumbs up. I was good to go, and what a relief, especially under unfortunate circumstances. My iPhone 5 screen had been pretty, badly cracked since november but today the home button finally gave in and decided to detach itself from my phone. It was now time to get it fixed. I walked in to the store and the staff nicely greeted and helped me immediately. They got to work replacing the screen and about 20 minutes later I was out the door. I usually don't write these reviews, but had to write one on them. My daughter dropped my iPad 2, and a small portion of the screen cracked. As a result of the fall, the wireless lost it's strength, and I could not browse from outside the house. I looked around for a good deal to repair the glass, and even Groupons were more expensive. They ended up repairing my iPad and included a free plastic cover for added protection. I can remove it if I want, but it's not visible, so it's staying on. As for my wireless, I tested before leaving the store, and it was not working. They spent a few hours trying to fix it, but finally had to order the part that had broken off when it dropped. They only charged me for the part, and I had my iPad back like new. They charged less than Groupons out there, and they are a great family friendly store. I would highly recommend. read more

So glad I found this place on yelp. Very friendly, fast, and extremely reasonable price. My iPhone 4 stopped turning on and they quickly repaired the battery. The couple is extremely disrespectful and irresponsible, they lost my ipad and took no responsibility to find it nor to make the effort to look for it. The husband is a bully that kept insinuating they gave it back to us but they found no record of giving it back nor charging our credit card for the so presumed repair. i do not think they kept the ipad but I believe they gave it to the wrong person and now they do not want to take matters. I work in service and I believe that the customer trusts these type of business with something so personal and private as an ipad or a cellphone, they should treat the work the same way. read more

I went to the Dominican Restaurant next door, got a bite to eat, and my phone was ready in about thirty minutes.
