I dropped my external hard drive on concrete while on a trip in Europe with all of my family videos and pictures stored on the drive. The thing broke and I lost everything. All the old and new memories, the new video project I was working on. Everything was gone and it was such a bummer. The first thing I did when I got back into the country was find someone rated 5 stars on Yelp and tech expert guys came up. I'm so glad I found Sal. He was so professional, honest, fair, and straight to the point. He recovered ALL my files and guided my on how to avoid the problem in the future. I had a great experience with Sal from Tech Expert Guys. He was responsive with a reasonable quote within minutes, and literally waited for me to show up at his office on a Sunday afternoon to help fix my laptop (which was acting up). When I showed up for service, he carefully heard about the problem like a doctor does, and meticulously explained his testing steps with logic. He found the root cause, fixed it, installed new parts, made sure we were good to go, and charged a very reasonable amount. Also, by the way, after we left he realized he had inadvertently charged us $30 more and reached out to me. When I confirmed my Zelle, he immediately refunded that amount. Great service, high acumen and skills, great collection of parts, and very reasonable rates. A great demeanor on top of it! read more

Sal is absolutely amazing!! I messaged him on a Friday night around 10pm about my dad's laptop, which mysteriously stopped working and was stuck on an error screen. Sal responded that night and we had an appointment the next day. Sal was able to completely fix my dad's computer, recover all of the files, and set him up with an automated cloud storage all in the same day. Highly Recommended!!! I bought a laptop about 3 years ago and used it about 10 times, suddenly it started giving me issues and would not start up. I tried everything but nothing was working! I was ready to give up and buy a new one, thankfully I jumped on yelp and found Tech Expert Guys! Based on the amazing reviews I decided to give them a shot! I am so glad I did! I sent a yelp message late at night and received a response right away!! Salih asked me to stop by the next day and was able to tell me there was an issue with the hard drive right there and then! I contacted Salih when I had a computer problem, and he gave me a time slot and rough estimate over the phone. There were some additional issues, but he fixed all of those, and gave me options when I dropped off my pc. Very professional, patient on talking through the different options, and helped me decide what was best for my situation. Sal was great. My daughter's MacPro failed (with the OS corrupted we found out later). Sal promptly provided a reasonable estimate over Yelp. Sal fixed the problem and the laptop was ready to pickup the next morning. Everything seems to be working properly. Sal was very helpful. Since it was during a holiday, I didn't want to bother them too much, but I didn't receive any updates for nearly three weeks. When I finally called to check the status, the owner told me they couldn't repair it. While I understand that not every repair is possible, I would have preferred to be informed sooner so I could retrieve my laptop. Later that same day, the owner called back and said they might be able to source a donor laptop to swap parts and asked for an additional two weeks. I agreed to give them more time. However, after the promised 2 weeks, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called again. The owner didn't have an update and asked me to call back the next day. When I did, the owner became upset, claiming he had told me to call back at noon, which he ABSOLUTELY had not. Why does it take a day just to check the status anyways? BTW I called at 11:50 am! Are you F ing kidding me you are upset for 10 minutues (which I was not even aware of) after a month of no response? His reaction was VERY unprofessional. He then calls me for the first time at 12:00 pm to tell me they still couldn't fix the laptop. I picked up my laptop and took it to an old friend who used to do repair work. Even though he's semi-retired and farther away, he diagnosed the issue correctly and had the laptop running again within three days. This may have been an isolated experience, but I highly recommend you avoid this place. I won't be returning!

You have no idea the elation of knowing there's someone out there that can come and set up or fix any tech. I've been the reluctant IT person at home with moderate success until I reached my capacity with my new mesh system that simply wasn't meshing. I got it all set up & working for a couple weeks, tossed the box, and within the return period (no box anymore so can't return) the 2 satellites stopped satelliting. Problems started after I struggled getting my printer to re-connect, then did the whole unplug/turn off/reboot/ update firmware thing, and the Orbi dropped it's out satellites and 2 of my Sonos speakers. Somehow the rest of the devices stayed connected so it was tolerable until Paul came out next day. At least I have no shame since it took nearly 2 hours to fix, but fix it he did. FWIW, Orbi is not the mesh system to get. It's glitchy & problematic. EERO is the recommended way to go. Orbi gets one more chance, then off it goes to the wifi router farm in the country with all the other wifi routers where it can romp & play in the land of oddball wifi routers. But I digress, 5-stars, 10/10, highly recommend Tech Trekkers.

Where do I start, well first they asked me what was wrong. I told them that the laptop shuts off…read moreby itself but the battery light is still on. Then the LCD screen needed replacement plus a full diagnoses. Well, they fixed the LCD for a good price. Then came back to me with a higher quote saying that it was a 4k 133mhz. Which I already explained that to them earlier with them not understanding. Still, no problem. I am very easy to work with and was the whole way, until I got my laptop back that is useless now. Well, I pick it up and you really do not see anyone to talk about the issues when you drop it off or pick it up. That's strike one. Secondly, I pick it up and get home it still shutting off. Strike 2. Now the main issue, if you do a full diagnoses they should have known it was the GPU. Because it lags with game play. I tell them that and then they act like we did what you wanted and the motherboard needs replacement. First, they should have diagnosed it, and saying that before we even proceeded forward. This was one of the worse experiences I have had with any company. I should have had my brother tell me, as he is an IT. He would have known right away when it shuts off that is internal. But I wanted to give him a break because he does it all day. So, I had to pay about 3 hundred for easy labor or diagnoses. But they just updated the GPU driver and cleaned it. But yet didn't notice that it was useless. Now I am stuck with a razer laptop that is basically useless and I paid 800 bucks for an LCD screen new battery and diagnoses. If they would have done their job with the diagnoses I would have paid just like a 99 for diagnoses, which would have been fine. Oh and get this they wanted to sell me a new battery adapter for 180 bucks. I mean I would stay clear from this company. You cannot even speak to someone face to face. Then they tried selling me stuff I didn't need. Worse experience ever, and I will be putting in a claim with my cc company asap.

Three weeks ago my computer stopped working. We took it immediately into a local tech company. They could not get anything off of it. We had a backup going but it had stopped working over a year ago so we were missing SO MUCH information. My PC was getting terribly slow. So slow that while my PC showed a connection to the internet, my browser couldn't open a web page. I called Sal this last Sunday and left a message. He told be to bring my PC in at around 4:00pm that day. He immediately diagnosed the problem to be an old worn out hard drive (HD). He recommended I replace the SATA HD with a new Solid State Drive (SSD) and then to clone my old drive to the new one. He couldn't see why my internet connection wasn't working as it worked at his place. But he gave me some tips to check it out. He replaced the drive and had it done before 10am the next morning. When I started the PC back up at home it was lightning fast and my connection problem was gone. That's when I realized the PC was so slow the browser software was failing to recognize my internet connection. The best $360 I've spent in a long time. Definitely want to recommend to u guys. Quick and efficient. I thought it would take hours to repair my fan problem. But they solved the problems in less than 1hr. Because I also got a computer broken for the same reason (that one was not that lucky, so I change to this new pc). I feel hopeless at the first place when this laptop have the same malfunction as the previous one. Then I tried to contact repairmen on Yelp. Tech Expert Guys is the first workshop contact me and give me the solution. And everything goes smoothly right now. The price is okay, a little bit higher than that in my own country. This place is amazing. Brought my Macbook Pro 2011-2013 in because my screen was going black. I purchased a new battery, a new SDD and new RAM. Amazing! I went to multiple places to see if I can get any of my data recovered from my liquid damaged computer. I have used Sal's service to repair my MacBook, and HP laptop for 3 times. I am really happy with the service that Sal provided. Call Sal in the morning and text him my product number and Sal can replace the battery within a day and I can have my laptop back in mint condition in the afternoon.
