I ordered two drinks because I couldn't decide and I don't live close. if you like Matcha this is the spot because they don't just give you one option. There are several for all different levels of Matcha Lover. I'm also a fan of cream tops and they have a bunch of different flavors of that all high-quality really delicious. My gauge on whether or not a place is good is if their tea actually tastes like tea. Rather than some places, it tastes like they used a mix or powder. my favorite matcha place ever. without a doubt never fails and is my fav place of all time. haven't gotten it in like 2 weeks and decided to get it tdy. my bf went in to order drinks and we got two banana matchas. one regular and one with no ice (so i can save it for work the next day). he was then told by a girl that they were unable to do no ice because of 'measurements'. we have always done no ice without a problem. we kept telling her that and she said she couldn't. wdym you can't do no ice? she said the best they could do was very light ice so that was fine. got the two drinks and one was regular ice and the other one was supposed to be light but it wasn't. half of the cup was nearly with ice (knew it was supposed to be light at least since we asked for the toffee ots). had to come back to ask for spoons just to scoop it out. kind of disappointed bc i never had a bad experience here and just confused as to why we weren't allowed no ice when we constantly ordered it before without a problem. the drink also didn't taste like banana and was a bit more milk than matcha. kind of disappointed and was my fav place. now i'm unsure of even wanting to come back. read more

I really enjoyed the mural on the wall of LBC activities. Strawberry Matcha Milk Tea - 1 - No Matcha flavor at all, just tastes like strawberry syrup. Don't order this as amazing as it sounds. Strawberry Slushi with cheese foam - 7 - The strawberry syrup flavor is very prominent but the ice isn't properly chopped up as there were still chunks of ice. The cheese foam was a nice salty contrast which paired well with this drink. Still, I think the drink is too sweet from the strawberry syrup. Brown Sugar Milk Tea - 9 - on the sweet side but is very well done. Brown sugar and milk tea go together amazingly. Jasmine Green Tea Latte - 8 - Fresh brewed jasmine green tea with oat milk and no sugar. The oat milk provided enough sweetness and worked like a champ. So glad a Ding Tea opened by my house! For years, Long Beach struggled to have an authentic boba chain. Ding Tea opening here just changed that! I no longer have to drive to the Lakewood location. This location is near CSULB and there's plenty of parking in their lot. I really like the decor and mural inside, it felt welcoming. Hopefully after the pandemic ends, they will have seating cause this is the kind of place I would like to chill with my laptop. I ordered their Green Apple milk tea and I love it! It's a very unique drink, I never found a boba shop that offered Apple milk tea not even the other ding teas have it. Can't wait to come back to try the other drinks! They opened during the pandemic and I believe business has been slow for them as all the CSULB students are not back on campus.
