Super cute tea shop! I had no idea there was such a lovely place in this area! The inside seating is comfortable, but the outdoor seating is more spacious. My new go-to spot for Taiwanese-style milk tea drinks during the afternoon! We all know the post-lunch coma that's induced during the work day, and Ding Tea Long Beach has your antidote! My favorites here are the Signature and Taro Milk Teas, both slightly adjusted in the Ice and Sugar departments. The staff is always warm and welcoming, and the turnaround time is relatively fast! i think this boba place is awesome but for some reason i always have beef with it. anyways, the drinks are very good, but i think the milk to tea ratio is a bit off. the drinks feel too tea-y and they feel very light. the boba here is super yummy too! the service is a bit lengthy i think but everyone ive gone here, ive gone with a group and we've ordered like 3+ bobas so its expected to take longer. the ambience is very cute and trendy too! i also love the exterior of the shop! read more

My second time to this time, day time this time. The service is great and friendly as always, the girls at the counter are very helpful and will patiently respond to questions. Plenty of options to choose from. The place is nice and bright with tons of sunlight, the mural that covers one side of the wall is mesmerizing, colorful and a great background for photos. Decided to give this place a try and man there is no way this happened. I ordered the vietnamese ice coffee and literally just got ice. The drink was literally 3 sips and the rest was ice despite it already being in a baby cup and having any actual drink. I asked to get some of the ice removed after picking it up but the girl at the register said none of the ice on the coffee and latte drinks can be adjusted. Sure the workers seemed nice and polite but man it boggles me how uninterested and unsurpised they looked when I showed them how ridiculous this looks and letting it slide as if this was actually normal practice-- I hope it isn't. Visited on: 6/16/2021 Time arrived: 12:20 pm The parking lot has a lot of other businesses so I can see where parking could be a problem but on this occasion for me I didn't have an issue with parking. I was able to find parking right in front. THE EXPERIENCE: When I got inside the lightening was a bit low which was nice and there was a line formed with people placing and waiting to place their orders. When it was my turn I let the guy know I had called ahead to ask about their non-dairy options. I was nice that I had spoken to this team member in particular over the phone before coming in and was able to place my order with him in person. MY ORDER: (2) Thai Teas - no toppings - Large - Oat milk. THE TATSE: great as always - it's my "go-to" ding tea drink besides Taro Milk tea. This was my first time at this location. I would say they did a good job with the taste of my drink. The ratio of oat milk to tea was good. What I was a bit irritated by was the fact that my drinks were not wiped off before giving them to me. When my number was called by a female team member I noticed some orange coloring on the counter but I didn't think anything of it. Well when I got my drinks to my destination there was Thai tea all around the sides of both drinks and inside the bag. So I guess the Orange coloring I saw on the counter did come from my drinks not being wiped off. (-1 Star) Other Ding Teas wipe off the drink with a towel before giving the drink to the customer I didn't see that here. It would've been nice for them to do that so that my drinks didn't have tea around the cup and inside the bag. (See photo attached) WOULD I RECOMMEND ? WOULD I RETURN? I would recommend to anyone wanting a good Taiwanese drink. I would return but will be mindful to ask for my cup to be wiped off if I don't see them do it on their own. I really didn't like that tea was all around the drinks and inside the bag... it gets messy and sticky that way. Not cool. read more

Pretty standard boba shop. Their drinks and boba are good quality, and the wait time isn't too long. The mango slush is a good non-caffeinated option. Nice that they have some seating inside and outside, but it can feel pretty cramped if there's more than 2 or 3 parties there. read more

My favorite milk tea spot ever. We come by multiple times per week. My favorite right now is the brown sugar milk tea. I also like signature, oolong, monster boba, Thai tea, & taro. My son really likes the honeydew milk tea too. My only problem with this place is that it takes a lot longer for them to make the drinks now & if you try to order it online for it to be ready by the time you get there, the prices are more expensive. Was here last time when it was Ding Tea and really liked it compared to other Ding Teas. Didn't know that they rebranded to Teatopia, was a little hesitant, but decided to give it a try anyways. Employees told me it was the same staff and ownership but they upgraded their ingredients. Well, def can taste the difference in quality. The tea flavor for their classic was really good. I especially enjoyed the phoenix oolong milk tea. Tastes just like the one from Orobae in Irvine. I will definitely be back try other drinks. read more

I had low expectations for their matcha, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and size of the drink. The matcha was smooth, umami, and not too sweet. I like how the einspanner is not too creamy either! It's simply divine The asian girl behind the counter was also very kind and helpful, we need more service workers like this! This cute little store exceeded my expectations in taste and service. I will be returning! The quality has gone down since they changed. Ordered a matcha that had no flavor. It tasted just like milk with green color. No matcha flavor at all. Green Thai tea was better than the matcha but not great. FYI: the menu is much smaller and there is only one size cup available I loved ding tea but was hopeful that teatopia would still have good quality boba. However I was wrong. It appears they may have made the switch from ding tea to their own company to save money or have more creative decision which is smart but the quality has dropped as well. Maybe they were having a bad day I don't know but I won't be returning. Very unfortunate but I will be finding a new boba place to go to. If you choose to go here I truly do hope you have a better experience than I had. read more

When I arrived at my meeting, I discovered that three custom bowls were missing. For an order of this size and value, this level of carelessness is unacceptable. I reached out to Blue Bowl and gave them the opportunity to make this right, but they refused to rectify the mistake. Poor customer service is one thing, but failing to take responsibility after being given the chance to resolve the issue is even more disappointing. I expected much better from a business that charges premium prices. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I can't recommend Blue Bowl.

I stopped in for a coffee and a side of bacon, and my total was almost $20. For such a simple order, that's hard to justify. I understand food costs have increased, but the pricing feels excessive compared to other local restaurants that serve quality food at much more reasonable prices. My biggest concern, however, is the impact the business has had on our neighborhood. Since Zuzu's Petals opened, we've noticed a significant increase in litter, much of it appearing to be food and drink packaging from the restaurant. Weekend traffic on the sidewalks has become overwhelming, customers often park in alleyways or in unsafe locations, and it has made our neighborhood much more difficult to navigate. We brought these concerns to an employee, but were told there wasn't much they could do. If this business truly wants to be part of the community, I hope they take more responsibility for the impact they're having on the surrounding neighborhood. Encouraging customers to park responsibly, helping keep the area clean, and offering more reasonably priced menu options would go a long way toward building goodwill with the people who actually live here. I always want local businesses to succeed, but right now I can't recommend Zuzu's Petals based on both my experience and the ongoing issues it's created for nearby residents. Also beach cleaning isn't cleaning our neighborhood. That's no support to our neighborhood. Maybe have a neighborhood clean up day instead.
