$4 for a large milk tea, I'm sold! Let me get two while I'm here! The prices are affordable and quality is great - very consistent every time I come. There's many options and selections to choose from. You can also customize the level of sweetness if you like. I really like their tiramisu foam, never heard of it before and now I'm hooked! Finally a REAL boba spot in the LBC! I've been waiting for this day and it has finally arrived. Welcome, Ding Tea to the neighborhood! A much needed, welcome addition to our city and now no need to drive to Cerritos and the surrounding areas when there's this place right here :) The shop looks amazing and is brand spankin' new and spotless in the recently renovated business plaza on Clark/Atherton. My favorite drink is usually the Oolong Milk Tea (half sweet) with golden boba which did not disappoint, but the Taro Milk Tea was superb and perfect with no adjustments made. Might be my new go-to drink for a while now and excited to try some more new ones too. Be seeing you guys soon I'm sure! Just when I thought truly good boba was out of reach, luckily this place opens up. Everyone, come support this new business and check out their awesome LB mural. I love boba and this new Ding Tea location did not disappoint! The taro boba tea is sooooooooo dang good and now I'm hooked and cant wait to go back. I've been to multiple of their locations and tried most of their popular teas. They're all really good. I usually stick to milk teas with boba, but teas with jelly and fruity drinks are good too. Be sure to request 25-50% sweetness if you don't like drinks that sweet. Lines at this location can get long, depending on the time of the day. The only bummer about Ding Tea is that it opens at 11 am, and I usually grab tea earlier. read more

Oh no, my worst nightmare! The first Dingtea opens down the street in LB! And it's walking distance?! (Sarcasm) This location is conveniently situated in it's own large parking lot with ample space. The interior is decorated with a nice mural of Long Beach's most iconic destinations and landmarks. The staff is super friendly and is willing to answer any questions. my favorite matcha place ever. without a doubt never fails and is my fav place of all time. haven't gotten it in like 2 weeks and decided to get it tdy. my bf went in to order drinks and we got two banana matchas. one regular and one with no ice (so i can save it for work the next day). he was then told by a girl that they were unable to do no ice because of 'measurements'. we have always done no ice without a problem. we kept telling her that and she said she couldn't. wdym you can't do no ice? she said the best they could do was very light ice so that was fine. got the two drinks and one was regular ice and the other one was supposed to be light but it wasn't. half of the cup was nearly with ice (knew it was supposed to be light at least since we asked for the toffee ots). had to come back to ask for spoons just to scoop it out. kind of disappointed bc i never had a bad experience here and just confused as to why we weren't allowed no ice when we constantly ordered it before without a problem. the drink also didn't taste like banana and was a bit more milk than matcha. kind of disappointed and was my fav place. now i'm unsure of even wanting to come back. read more

I loved that this place finally opened up in Bixby Knolls. Workers were super friendly and love their boba drinks. My daughter makes me bring her here all the time. Only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 stars is because the 3X we were here, the restroom was not available/working for patrons. We had to use the restroom at Ramen Hub. Hope they fix that bathroom problem soon. read more

Came here to meet up with a friend and some family. We ordered the guava tea with boba, jasmine milk tea with boba, an iced coffee-50% sweet, and a peach slushie. We enjoyed all of our drinks! My go to is Oreo Brûlée Boba Milk with little ice, 100% sweetness + cheese foam & xtra Oreo. I ordered at the kiosk and then noticed the signs near the register. One stated "cards only, no cash", the other asked for patience as there was only one person working to fulfill orders. He never stopped! Those order tickets kept printing and he just kept on working. When a family came in and opted to order at the counter, he patiently worked through each of the 4 kids and the parent to make sure everyone got what they wanted. Looking at my time stamps, I only waited about 10 minutes and he thanked me for my patience. My drink was everything I remembered it to be - DO NOT SLEEP ON CHEESE FOAM!!! They recommend shaking your drink 17 times, but I say rebel! Enjoy each layer. That cheese foam floating on top deserves its own sweet, creamy attention. Ambiance??? Hmmm....Not much, honestly. Sunright used to be a cute Insta kinda vibe, but now it seems a bit tired and in need of a refresher. Since the kiosk order boards, customers pretty much enter, head to kiosks, enter orders, pay, then take a seat on the long bench lining the wall across from the prep/kitchen area, silently scrolling screens while waiting. Drink is made, ticket gets stuck on cup and name called. Done. It may be another few years before I return, considering how much I've cut sugar out of my daily routine, but when I do, I hope that consistently chewy, perfectly fresh boba at the bottom and the sweet, creamy cheese foam on top are still there to welcome me back to Oreo Brûlée Boba Milk tea euphoria. The drink itself was pretty refreshing. However, because I ordered it 25% sweet, I didn't really taste much passion fruit flavor. It had a mixture of lime and passion fruit (you can see the seeds on the bottom of the drink) but the flavor was not strong at all. The flavor leaned more tart and citrusy rather than passion fruit. Customer Service: The people who took our order and brought out our drinks were friendly. All in all, it was a good experience but I wasn't the most impressed. My review leans more 3.5 stars out of 4.

These options are replaced by cheap imitations of Starbucks' frothy drinks that sound good on paper but taste like iced piss with sugar. The drinks are excessively sweet, a mortal sin by Asian standard, and they have a generic taste that might as well have one item on the entire menu. Alas, to get a sip of the old favorites, now I have to drive across town instead of stop by after work. I am glad that I got my many trips here before the old guards died, and it's probably better for my hemoglobin A1c in the long run.

I stopped in for a coffee and a side of bacon, and my total was almost $20. For such a simple order, that's hard to justify. I understand food costs have increased, but the pricing feels excessive compared to other local restaurants that serve quality food at much more reasonable prices. My biggest concern, however, is the impact the business has had on our neighborhood. Since Zuzu's Petals opened, we've noticed a significant increase in litter, much of it appearing to be food and drink packaging from the restaurant. Weekend traffic on the sidewalks has become overwhelming, customers often park in alleyways or in unsafe locations, and it has made our neighborhood much more difficult to navigate. We brought these concerns to an employee, but were told there wasn't much they could do. If this business truly wants to be part of the community, I hope they take more responsibility for the impact they're having on the surrounding neighborhood. Encouraging customers to park responsibly, helping keep the area clean, and offering more reasonably priced menu options would go a long way toward building goodwill with the people who actually live here. I always want local businesses to succeed, but right now I can't recommend Zuzu's Petals based on both my experience and the ongoing issues it's created for nearby residents. Also beach cleaning isn't cleaning our neighborhood. That's no support to our neighborhood. Maybe have a neighborhood clean up day instead.
