Thai tea with the instant tea settled at the bottom. WHY??
Jessica A.

Need help understanding why it's ok for a Tea place to use instant tea mix. Ordered a Thai Tea, terrible. To start with they used instant tea which just kept settling at the bottom of the cup no matter how much I stirred. The to top off the terrible-ness they put waaaaay to much 'milk' which I'm convinced was straight creamer... just not good at all, had to toss it after 3 sips. Absolutely terrible. Service was ok, nothing to note there. Maybe the other drinks are better idk.

MozzaDog with sugar, popcorn chicken and Oo la la drink

Love love TeaTonic!! Very welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Love the decor. Refreshing drinks that come in varieties plus any toppings you like. Enjoy the mozza dogs with sugar The jasmine drink is very soothing. Perfect spot for studying and/or hang out with friends or family. The service is great. They work well in the kitchen and fast. Would highly recommend it!

Clean fun atmosphere! They have arcade games too! Very welcoming. Great service . They have an indoor swinging bench to chill out and enjoy your beverage. I ordered the "Teatonic Milk Tea" Pretty good overall. -Santangelo Balli Gonzales

Passion fruit tea with Lychee jelly

Love this place! Staff is super nice, they even remember our usual orders as regular customers . The vibes are great and the drinks are always tasty.

Super cute boba/tea shop with yummy snacks! What drew me here was the frenchie logo and paintings! Then I saw the little wall arcade machines and I died! We were exhausted so we both tried the Vietnamese coffee with half sugar. I regret not ordering another shot as it tasted good but it didn't give me the surge of energy I was hoping for. Still, I recommend it for any coffee lovers. My gf ordered the matcha ice cream with the pandan bubble waffle. I personally don't love ice cream so I can't really judge it but the waffle was definitely amazing! It was extremely flavorful, light and crispy. I really wish we lived closer as I would visit more. Definitely will stop by if I'm ever in the area.

Love love love ! Delicious and unique variety of bobas ! Their chicken exceeds expectations for the price. My favorite drink so far is the crème brulée matcha !! The place is cute, and staff is very friendly and helpful. I would go out of my way for this place 10/10

This is a great place! Very good service. The lady at the counter was so nice and helpful. I'm drinking the tea tonic and my friend got the mangonada. Also, she told us we could do 30% of the sugar we would normally get so you're able to ask for that. They also have a pac man machine :)

I love the variety of drinks offered -- classic milk tea, fruity drinks, and coffee, plus the more exotic fruits! Also, rare, is an array of food you can order if you're feeling hungry. The employees are nice, and the drinks come out quickly. I order a pandan bubble waffle, which was really freaking good. Just the right amount of pandan flavor, and the dual glutenous-crispy textures were perfect! I'd definitely recommend this with your boba! I did knock off a star because the boba was very disappointing, they didn't quite taste very fresh. My guess is they don't prepare new batches of boba too often (we ordered it roughly around 5pm on a Saturday). Def get a bubble waffle! and check with them on the freshness of the boba.

I also did not know that they would have people come in to speak on the issue and I found it insightful. For those interested, I believe they will have these talks every 4th Friday of every month :) Aside from that, the baristas were very nice! The seating inside is super cozy and comfy and I also liked that there's a lot of outlets where I could plug my devices in. For my drink I ordered an iced Sweet Toff. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and I liked how the toffee flavor wasn't too overpowering of the coffee flavor

It's undoubtedly casual with a hipstery feel that is reminiscent of something that would be in Austin or Portland. The name is also appropo since I can never get out of here without ordering at least two cups of something. The interior is nice with a bit of a warehouse vibe but lots of natural lighting and a good amount of seating from sofas to communal tables and even covered outdoor seating. Parking isn't a problem and there's It's usually nice and quiet, which makes it a really ideal place to hit the ground running with some laptop action. The fairly fast WiFi is an added plus. Another thumbs up is their affordable prices which are around $5 or less. In the inflated world of coffee and foodflation, this is always a thumbs up. Ironically I end up ordering their most expensive drinks, which are mainly their house favorites ($5.50). The secret squirrel, mochanut, sweet toff, and white mocha, which are all a solid option. Their matcha latte ($5) and lemonade ($3) are refreshing and easy to order on any of our warmest days. Service has also been among their strong suits. They've been efficient with orders, good to point people out to where bathrooms, WiFi passwords, and focusing on their mission of ending human trafficking. They have noted themselves as Houston's first non-profit coffee shop that is dedicated to ending human trafficking. Well then. In that case, I'll have another cup.

Unfortunately, they were completely sold out of the gluten free treats she was hoping to try but the gentleman working the stand told us they had a physical location not too far away that would probably have everything she was looking for. We went there straight away and WOWWWWW I'm so glad we did. This place is amazing!! They have such a great selection of baked goods, breads, pastries, biscuits, and other treats with so many gluten free options. I loved the vibe of the bakery and it smelled SO good the second we walked in. My cousin ended up getting gluten free biscuits, gluten free sourdough and another gluten-free pastry that I can't remember the name of. I'm not gf and I'm usually the first person to hate on gf food because I never think it tastes as good as the real thing but this place completely changed my mind. Everything we tried was amazing, but the biscuits were INSANE. Like... I would happily choose those biscuits over regular biscuits. We only picked up a few things this first time but while we were there we kept seeing plates of food come out and everything looked incredible. We're already planning to go back and actually eat there next time. I'm genuinely blown away!!! And I think it's safe to say my cousin has officially found her new favorite spot.

The classic "they're building a coffee shop in the parking lot of the coffee shop." For a specialty coffee enthusiast like me, it does not rate highly. I tried a turbo, their "specialty" and a drip. And disliked both. The turbo tasted like a chocolate milk with lots of ice. The drip was a darker roast to start, resulting in an unpleasant charcoal water flavor profile, needing milk and sugar to balance out the tds. Drunk black, not to my liking.

I got lucky & snagged one of the 2 parking spots they had in the front but there is a huge PARKING LOT in the back. This is a great spot to study / get some work done. They have 6 two seater tables with OUTLETS all long the bench. There's a 5 seater bar facing out to the street & lots of outdoor seating. This place seems to be PET FRIENDLY allowing dogs on their PATIO. I got their ICED TURBO (on draft). It's their signature however I will say it tasted like a slightly spiked CHOCOLATE MILK for me. I can't vouch for how much of a caffeine boost I'll get from this. I prefer a stronger coffee flavor so I won't get this one again but their other drinks sounds good. PRICING wise I feel like everything is very fair. A LARGE coffee is $6 vs paying $8 at other cafes. They have BREAKFAST TACOS from 7am till sold out & GRAB & JO'S at 11am.
