First experience with Team for my husband. PT was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable however we were there for about 90 mins and saw therapist for maybe 20. Her assistant, who my husband was put with, was busy on his phone rather than tracking whether my husband was doing his exercise correctly. My husband had to interrupt his phone activity to find out if he had done enough reps. My husband was in an acute pain phase of his injury. PT should have been on top of her assistant or chosen a more competent one. We were advised to change PT services so we moved on. read more

My high-school aged son is the 3rd family member to receive treatment from Ben at TPT. Ben knows his stuff and is the absolute best. I trust him whole-heartedly and can relax knowing my son is receiving the best care and attention. And believe me, I'm always anxious when it comes to any type of medical treatment. When you finally find a therapist and a facility that's top notch, it's definitely a relief. Broke my Tibial Plateau in my Knee and tore my meniscus. I was assigned to Jeff. At first I was questioning why he was so aggressive in his PT approach but quickly realized if you wanted any sense of normalcy again that it was needed and he is doing his job. I was an emotional wreck during my injury and PT and fortunately Jeff and his crew never judged my tears but got me through some hard days. I would cry on Jeff's table after some intense stretches to immediately feel relief right after. Jeff is the real deal and will get you back to your normal. Brett was with me from the beginning as well. He was so patient and kind. They would ALL greet you as you'd walk in the door with excitment. Brett would without hesitation modify workout moves or make sure that you were comfortable in every PT everyday exercises. These employee's were never in a bad mood. Always welcoming. Jared, Angel, Jacob were awesome and accommodating. Sometimes Physical Therapist; Parker would help me out when Jeff had some very busy days. He was great too! You will have to wait to get strectched by Jeff on those busy days. This place does get very crowded. But it's also a sign of them being the best I reminded myself. I had some other health problems come up and never got to finish my PT completely. But I did get about 8 months of PT- 2 times a week in and I miss it. I'm a year out from my injury and feel about 95% healed. I may have to get another referral and get back to work at Team soon. I would definetly recommend them. If you are looking for a quiet place, this isn't it. ***Be prepared to put in some work while listening to some good music around great people. They have lockers for your things. Employees who are so nice and friendly who wrap you up in ice before you leave. Water available, easy appointment making. Kelly at the front was always so sweet and accomodating with my schedule. If it was Jeff the therapist in charge of you the entire time this would get 20 stars! Jeff is awesome, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and wants you to improve. BUT If you come here are a few things to keep in mind. 1.if your insurance pays 100% inducing the co-pay do it. 2. If you pay the co-pay or come out of Pocket and you need to come more than 1x a week your wallet is going to hurt more than the injury you have. It's $40 every time I come. That adds up real quick! For what to work out? I pay less for the gym. 3. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT have JJ as your trainer. He is terrible! Doesn't thoroughly show you how to do the exercises, doesn't check up on you, doesn't make you feel motivation at all! 4. If you like spending your own money only to stand around, you will love this place! 5. If i was getting all the training from Jeff I would have a completely different review. I have only been here 2x BUT I don't feel confident when at $40 per visit. I would recommend watching some you tube videos once you get your diagnosis I slightly feel they want to extract more money from you or your insurance company. Trust me it can get pricy! I have been coming to Team Physical Therapy for a few years now for different injuries. Everyone there has been friendly and helpful. Natalie was my therapist for a while, and I found her to be both knowledgeable and personable. She's a great therapist whose goal was to get me well. I recently returned back to TPT. Ben is currently my physical therapist, and like Natalie, his goal is exactly the same. After my workouts, he stretches me out and massages out any knots in my legs. I always leave feeling accomplished and with a smile on my face. I look forward to going each time so that I can get stronger and of course for the massages. I highly recommend giving TPT a try. I cannot speak highly enough of this place and the staff. Everyone is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Ben is my physical therapist and Austin works with me each time I come in. In my experience, the surgeons rarely give much information. This comes from the physical therapist. They are passionate about their work and helping to keep me progressing to get me back to my job when they are certain that the time is right. They have my strongest recommendation. I got a new physical therapy doctor on January 24, 2022 who stated she did NOT read my medical/therapy file before the initial consultation. After I completed all my exercising she did not massage me. I wasted an entire therapy visit. I discontinued services with Reba because when she sprayed the bed in private room we were in, majority of the solution/sanitizer went into my face while sitting on the blue chair. Although this was clearly a mistake that should never have happened, Reba does like to be ask about COVID precautions at the facility. I spoke to the office manager on Monday, Jan 24, and the manager stated she would call me back. Today is Friday, Jan 28, no call back from office manager concerning why the therapy doctor fail to massage me on Monday. Less than 50% of the clients uses masks. All the staff members do use mask, but half of them are NOT covering their mouth and nose. This place is a breeding ground for a COVID out break. read more

If you want your life back, and want to leave even better than before your injury, this is the THE place to go. There is simply no other physical therapy place that does what TEAM PT does. I should know - I wasted my time at 2 other ones for 17 weeks after surgery before coming here. From the 1st day Jeff Bekendam (owner) assessed my injury and immediately changed my life by ordering orthotics. He explained how orthotics would change the alignment of my knee joint and thus alleviate the pain from my meniscus surgery. He said it would be life-changing and it was (and yet NO other PT had told me this or recommended this for me). From there he designed a typical 2 hour workout each week that strengthened my knee and then went beyond to work on my core. I went during the entire pandemic and they kept everyone safe every step of the way. The treatment begins with heat and from there you have weights, cycling, stretching, stairmasters, Biodex machines, balance exercises, BFR, and more. Then Jeff (or one of his other excellent therapists) works on you, followed by TENS unit, ultrasound, and then "ice-to-go." Coming out all wrapped up in ice was the icing on the cake! :) Jeff is someone that is a gifted and passionate physical therapist. He personally makes your recovery his mission. It was a JOY to go to physical therapy each week. I even drove 120 miles to do it! And guess what? I would do it all over again. Jeff gave me my life back and I am eternally grateful. read more

I didn't know what to expect when I first came to Team. I was promptly greeted and ushered into a curtained off room for a consultation with Natalie. Kahler was the tech who patiently walked me through the exercises. I'm still coming twice a week but I have experienced a vast improvement. Their positivity and excellent communication keeps me motivated and on track. They play upbeat music and keep the tvs on the games so you're sufficiently distracted. Therapist was nice. They let people do walk-in, so you are stuck with long wait times. The therapist are working on 3,4,5 people at a time, so you have to wait your turn for new exercises. I was concerned about cost and asked what each appointment would be, I was told by an employee $55.00 a session. When I got my bill it was $75.00 a sessions. I talked to the girl at the front desk and she proceeded to show me what I had signed. I told her an employee quoted me $55.00 a session. Each time I called to try to set up an appointment or with a question, the front desk was always very hasty and quick to get off of the phone with me. It seems like a very busy location and the energy is 100% reflected in the service given to the clients. I tried calling today to speak with the supervisor about pricing as I was originally misquoted for pricing so I had some concerns. While talking to the supervisor Nikki, she was quick to cut me off while I was talking because she assumed that she knew exactly what I was going to say. She did not give me any time to finish my sentences. And she was also very quick to get off of the phone with me. I have not had a friendly encounter during the time that I have spent trying to set up an appointment here. They seem to lack empathy here toward their patients/future patients. Okay so did I ever think I was going to need physical therapy in my 20s, NO! But, coming here has made life so much easier, having a huge baby plus bad posture has given me some short term neck, shoulder and back problems.. sigh. My physical therapist is Denise and let me tell you, she's such a great clinician. I wish I could take her home with me lol you'd understand what I'm talking about if she helped you control your pain and work to get you where you need to be. She's very thorough with her explanation and tries to connect to the way you're feeling. Her bedside or just overall professionalism is one of a kind and I'm so glad that I get to work with her. Francisco is my tech so he walks me through what my exercises are or what I'm working on and he has really great customer service, always answering my million questions. For the most part all of the staff here have great attitudes, always friendly and helpful. There's only one person who I did not care for and didn't take their job too seriously, I won't mention a name because 1 out of 10 people is not bad. Okay my only complaint is the process could be awkward initially and maybe they can find a better way of figuring out how to explain to the patient what to expect on their first initial visit especially if you've never had PT before. I came in from work fully clothed from work and I work in an office where I'm wearing heels. Lol so it would of been nice to know that I should come comfortable or that my first initial visit wouldn't JUST be a consultation. But front office usually greets you and is pleasant. I'm loving this place, my drive sucks and it's out of my way but this is how much I've fallen in love with it. I would definitely refer my family or friends here. read more

The physical therapy and equipment is very good. The only reason for not getting a 5 star review is because they became too relaxed regarding Covid 19 guidelines. Half the patients were not wearing a mask and some of the staff was wearing them around their necks. When I mentioned this to the front desk they said they could not enforce it. They started overbooking and the main floor became so crowded rendering physical distancing even impossible. So, if you are over 65 or a family member has underlying conditions, this may not be a safe place to be during this Pandemic. If they started enforcing the COVID-19 guidelines then this place would be highly recommended. read more

Staff are pleasant and very professional! I enjoyed interacting with each and everyone of them. I didn't have to wait too long to be seen, and their processes that are in place seem to work out great. My concern is this- there was absolutely NO social distancing that took place within their gym area. Patients were being placed on a bicycle right next to me even though there were other bicycles available. This may not be a concern for others, but I live with 2 immuno-compromised individuals, so to me, it is important. Also, as a front line worker myself, this is a concern that is very real to me. Patients were waiting to be seen by their PT in chairs that had absolutely NO social distancing as well. Patients exercising with various weight machines right next to each other, there is NO effort to wait till stations are clear before placing another patient there. NO cleaning of equipment in between patients as well. I wish they had spray bottles around like in the gyms so those of us that would like to spray equipment down have the opportunity to do so. The good news is- They had hand sanitizers everywhere! Also, the physical therapists DID sanitize the tables in which they perform therapeutic massage and performed hand hygiene religiously! I enjoyed my time there as they were friendly and professional- but am on the fence about going back because of my personal concerns with their disinfection processes and social distancing guidelines.... read more

Team is an excellent place for physical therapy if your primary concern is to build muscle. It's set up like a regular gym and the physical therapists act kinda like personal trainers. The downside is there's very little one on one time with your physical therapists. They will instruct you to do something, then leave to help another patient. That being said, if you're someone with severe injuries and require lots of personal attention, this probably isn't the best place for you. Another plus to Team is their flexibility. You can literally make you're appointments last minute and there will always be someone there to assist you. I've been going to Team for about two weeks now due to a crushing injury to my pelvis and found most sessions are 3-4 hours long. They REALLY work you, and after your workout they move you to a table for stretching and/or massage. I've noticed though if they're busy you may have to wait on the table a good 15-20 minutes before someone sees you and they may just breeze over you to hurry up and get to the next patient. I know I wrote A LOT about this place but its because after my extensive life threatening injuries, physical therapy is something near and dear to my heart. I give this place a four star rating because I think its great but not perfect. It all depends on what you need and what you're looking for. read more

This review has been a long time coming. I was sent to TPT by my workers comp doctor. I am sure glad that he sent me there. From the moment I spoke to somebody at the front desk to my scheduled appointments to the end of my sessions. I have nothing but positive things to say. The first time you get in there, you sit down and you talk to therapist and they go over what's wrong or what you're there for and then they work out a plan for you. They give you a binder with pictures of you doing exercises and a workout band. I was there for neck and shoulder issues. Brooke was my physical therapist and she was awesome. She explained everything and was very friendly and professional. Bree was her assistant, and she always made sure that I was doing OK, even when she was overwhelmed with patients. I enjoyed my eight weeks there, even though I knew they couldn't perform a miracle on me, but they did try to strengthen my neck and shoulders. I started attending during the CoVid-19 pandemic. Clients were sparse, the staff are all in masks and cleaning every surface after every user. Very easy to social distance, to a point. The service is amazing! I start with heat, followed by exercises to keep me there for 2 hours. Not including the time for the massage. Yup, no quickie wham bam thank you ma'am physical therapy in this joint. I'm given so much therapy that the stupid part of says it's too much LOL. But when I remember how fast my medical provider rushed me through PT- never more than 20 minutes - I really appreciate a place where I get a thorough treatment. Clients are coming back and a number of them will not wear masks, however staff are still masked up and maintaining a decent cleaning regime. read more

I have been going to Team therapy for two years now. Excellent staff! Francisco Serrato is the best! He actually took time to go way out of his way for me several times. Even when he was really busy. They go above and beyond I have been to two other physical therapy places and they will be much more here. Like warm up, at the beginning. With heating pad. And then on the arm bike. Plus weight training/ stretching. And therapy. And then at the end they give you a short massage, and ice and electric stem. Would recommend it to all my family and friends! read more

After three surgeries from the age of 15 to today he took my latest surgery and is making sure with his excellent staff to get me back to where I can soccer coach again! They are very flexible with schedules and extremely passionate on what they do. As an Athlete I'm inpatient and need to get back as quickly as possible, but Jeff and the staff put things into perspective and put you on the right schedule to achieve the best results in the correct amount of time. I went here for physical therapy. The PT area is clean and well equipped. However, I was offended by the lack of attention given by Jeff Beckendam, the licensed PT, to my care. A few minutes of attention and then shuffled off to an intern - every time. The place struck me as a PT mill - churning as many people as possible into and out of the PT gym. I was also offended by Jeff, himself. He is too egotistical for me, strutting around the PT open area in godlike fashion calling for this patient or that patient to grace him/her with a few minutes of his precious time. I realize Team Physical Therapy has received many 5 star ratings, I just query from whom. If you are in need of physical therapy, I recommend you avoid this place and go to a PT who will actually spend some serious time (1 hour) working with you when you come for your appointment. This is my third injury that I have been going through with this awesome place. The first two instances were both personal injuries. First instance was an upper back injury and the second was when I broke my clavicle and after my surgery...I requested from my Ortho to go through Team PT for my strength conditioning so I can get off the disability train. These guys will definitely get you back on your toes... They open real early so I can pretty much get my sessions done in 2 hours before I am available for work by 8AM. And they are also open late. I've been working with Jeff (owner) and Tommy (assistant) for the past month after rotator cuff repair surgery. Not only are they both extremely personable, but they are very knowledgeable and the advice they've given me has been life changing. Jeff has given advice beyond the scope of just physical therapy strengthening and stretching. When he noticed my blood shot eyes, he asked me how I was sleeping. Upon telling him that I haven't been able to sleep due to the annoying sling I had to wear and not being able to find my comfortable spot at night, he proceeded to show me ways to position pillows and my body in bed to be more comfortable. That was ground breaking as it allowed me to heal better since I was finally able to sleep comfortably. Tommy's passion for what he does is like no other. Not only is he friendly and personable, he takes the time to find common grounds to relate with his clients. I will continue to recommend this practice to everyone I know that needs PT. Thanks guys. I can't believe how great I feel after working with Team PT, for a short two months! Pain is gone, strength is back, and there's a noticeable difference in my posture. I worked with Turner and my therapist was Natalie, who both are great at their craft. All my questions were answered regarding my issues; rotator cuff tear, neck tension and tension headaches so bad, I thought I was having an aneurysm. I was referred here by my general physician. I learned a ton of stretches to help loosen both my neck and shoulder and also learned different strength exercises with weights, bands and mat work. They even send you home with a binder full of exercise photos that you can refer to at home to practice your workouts and stretches. The facility is top notch with all of the latest equipment and clean conditions. Both the front and back office staff are very friendly and everyone greets you on a first name basis. Would come back here in a heartbeat (although I hope I don't have too!). read more
