I would give them 0 star if possible. I rented a 20 yd dumpster. No construction material, concrete, etc. was dumped. I was charged for a total of 5.07 tons (2 tons included and 3.07 tons in excess). It seemed like an error. When I asked for a scale ticket to confirm the weight, I was provided a hand written paper prepared by the same company with the overall weight of EXACT 36,000 lbs (- tare of course). When I probed further, because it seemed all phony, I was told it was processed at their own yard and it was a valid scale ticket. Stay away from this business. read more

Buyer beware! Stay away or prepare to be angry, anxious, and miserable. Not only did they miss their promised delivery time frame, they delivered a dumpster that was NOT EMPTY (see pictures), and picked it up a day late. This "discounted" deal ended up costing me so much more in wasted time, grief, and money (hired help doesn't hang out for free when the dumpster is not there for them to fill). I wish I had never found these guys. I wish I could go back in time and pick a different company. Here's the story: I contracted with Liberty Dumpster Rental for a 15 yard dumpster to clear out a property that was being listed for sale in 3 days. This company brokers the dumpster from Team Clean and Haul. They assured me it would be delivered next day between 6 am and 12 pm, and picked up the following day during that same time frame. The price looked good, and they assured me they can meet my time line. So, I rented the dumpster and hired some helpers to do the work at the property. Next day, 12 noon came and went. No dumpster. I called them and they said they'll get back to me with an update. An hour later, no update. I called them again and they said they'll check with "dispatch". It's now 2:30 pm. No updates, no dumpster. I call them a 3rd time and while I'm on the phone with them, the dumpster truck shows up. Just when I start to think this can't get worse... I notice the dumpster is not empty. I show it to the driver and he says "Oops, I guess I didn't check it when I picked it up." I'm in a jam at this point. I need the dumpster now b/c I have 3 people just hanging around waiting for this thing. So I tell the driver to leave the dumpster despite the garbage taking up space in it. Long story short, we finish at 10 pm instead of 6 pm. It has now cost me an extra $300. I send them a message that night to remind them that the dumpster is scheduled to be picked up between 6 am and 12 noon the next day, that I have other people lined up to work on the house, and that if the dumpster is not gone by the time they promised, it will be catastrophic. Next day, the people I had hired to work on the house show up at 2:45 pm. The dumpster is still there! I call Liberty and they tell me they've emailed the "dispatch" about this yesterday and that they'll check and let me know. So much for taking responsibility for promises made... let's just email "dispatch" and forget about it. An hour and 4 more phone calls (plus $350 in fees for the vendor to just sit around and wait for the dumpster to be removed), they relay a message from the owner of the Clean & Haul company that "there are no drivers so we'll just pick it up tomorrow." Zero regard for the impact this will have on me. Despite my explaining the situation, the expenses I've incurred so far, and the problems I'll have to deal with now that I have to push the house's listing date. No offer to compensate me for the dumpster that was not empty and late. Nothing. In the end, they removed the dumpster the next day. I had to reschedule the listing and quite possibly lost a bunch of homebuyers, spent an extra $650 in vendor fees, and spent two days angry and miserable. We had some problems with accurate pick ups and swap of the roll-off container early in our relationship, but there has been a tremendous change. I can email to schedule the swap and service is there before I know it. I appreciate the fact that the owner, Matt, took time to identify the issue and resolved it. It began with the delivery of a 10-yard dumpster when we were contracted and paid for a 15-yard dumpster. We were told it would arrive after noon on a Saturday, so at 10 am we ran to Home Depot. Also, we were told that we would be called prior to delivery, which neither happened. I tried calling to phone the company before they closed on that Saturday and the calls were going to voicemail, so I left two voicemails. By Monday evening I called because no one phoned me and the owner answered and tried to assure me that they delivered a 15-yard dumpster. My wife took pictures and sent them to his cell phone as he suggested with no response. The next day, all of my calls were going straight to voicemail, so I emailed and finally called from my employer numbers which the call was answered. I explained the situation and was told the owner was busy but would contact me later. This did not happen. We became frustrated because we reduced the amount of trash due to the limited size. Upon pickup of the dumpster, the driver encountered my wife and She laid into him about their customer service to which he called the office and gave the phone to my wife. I left out that they blocked her number too. The office manager Susan acted like she knew nothing of the situation even though I talked to her and emailed her. We had trash services with this company for almost two years and have had so many problems with skipped services. The customer service representative is extremely unprofessional, rude, condescending, disrespectful and argumentative. He told us our missed service was due to being "on the naughty list" for non-payment. I proved it actually cleared on time weeks before. We called to cancel our service and request pick up of the dumpster and his response was "Nope, we won't be picking it up. There's a contract." Rather than "I can arrange that. You are under contract, let me get the details for you." It's literally that easy. This is just a portion of our ridiculous interaction with their customer service rep. I found their number online and found their quote for a 30 cubic feet dumpster to dispose of my tile and sheetrock from my home remodel to be significantly less than their competitors. Plus, I got to keep it for 2 weeks, as opposed to just 1 week, or 10 days, with others. Also, the weight limit was a higher threshold, and the penalty for going over was less than the other 4-5 places that gave me quotes. After an email mix-up, I hadn't received a confirmation email with the agreement to sign and send back in by the drop off day, but I called and the staff apologized, resent the confirmation, and were still able to arrange on-time delivery that day. I was able to schedule drop off and pickup as I needed, and the drivers were timely and professional. I did call a week before pickup to make sure I didn't go over the allotted 2 weeks. Rented a dumpster and specified in the rental reservation, to please DO NOT place the dumpster in the driveway. Well, guess where they delivered the dumpster when I wasn't there, the driveway. The reason I needed to keep the driveway clear was for a 5 ton gravel delivery that needed to dump on the driveway. Because of the dumpster being in the way, the gravel company had to reschedule the delivery and charged me an additional $50 re-delivery fee. I spoke to Team Clean and Haul and they agreed they made the mistake on delivery and would reimburse me the $50 fee. After numerous calls and emails, they never did follow through. The $50 was never reimbursed. Follow through is huge for me, and their lack of follow through was a disappointment. When others have asked for recommendations for dumpsters, I cannot recommend Team Clean, because if an issue arises, I am not confident their team will follow through in resolving it. read more

So the reason that I am writing this review is because of the appalling customer service at Team Clean and Haul. So I came home last night to a semi-truck sided dumpster blocking my driveway. Did I order a dumpster you ask? I sure didn't. I have no idea where it came from. I knocked on my neighbor's doors and no one seems to know anything about it. (I mean shouldn't someone have to sign for this or something) I find a number on the side of the dumpster and give them a call. I leave 2 voicemails saying that it is an emergency and I need someone to call me back immediately as I am having people over tomorrow for Halloween. I gave all my contact info, the dumpster serial number and where the dumpster is located. Did I get a call back? I sure didn't. So I called them. I called at 7am, 10:30am, and again at 1:30am. Each time they told me that they would look into the matter and call me back immediately. They did NOT call me back! Each time I called they got more and more rude and condescending. So at 3pm Evelyn finally tell me that they will have the dumpster moved today. She is very rude and short and does not give any sort of time frame. I called them one final time to see if we could have them get the move rushed as it is Halloween and I am concerned about the children safety who will be trick or treating after dark. I didn't get the name of the person I talked to that final time, but she was so rude and did not seem to care about me or the children that would be trick or treating. She just said that the drivers get off at 8pm so it will before that. I am appalled by the rude condescending employees and I am not surprised that they only have 2 1/2 star on Yelp. This company does not return calls and does not pick up the dumpster when you order it picked up! My client called the company to have a dumpster delivered and requested a pick up 3 days later, it was confirmed and yet never picked up. As their agent who's attempting to get the property on the market I called on my clients behalf 3 times in one day requesting a call back, giving the property address, my phone number and the day (three days prior) when it was supposed to be picked up. They never called me back. They never called my client and looks like I'll be driving out there again tomorrow to see if they did their job. Not recommended! We scheduled a dumpster that was supposed to be dropped off after a certain time. Even though this got confirmed we received phone call two hours ahead of schedule that the can is already on site. When advising the lady on the phone that it was communicated that we can only operate at a certain time ended up in a snappy response. Once the can got picket up we noticed a extra charge for over $160 that wasn't communicated. Weeks later we received a call that there is still an outstanding balance of around $160. Apparently there is n system or supervision in this company and the attic makes me wonder how they survive in business. No good! read more

I would not recommend this company! Deceitful tactics - you are being charged if exceeding the 30 mile radius however they do not tell you their location or the starting point, nor it is mentioned anywhere in the contract. Initially I provided pick up address in Anthem and was quoted $310, when bill comes it is $338 - that's because I was over the 30 mile threshold, I was told. I believe earth must have stretched out between my initial call and the final bill. I was also charged FUEL RECOVERY FEES, applicable when fuel reaches $4/gal and above - IMAGINE THAT! Fuel is a little over $2/gal. After complaining about it I was promised a refund. Guess what happened? It never happened (as expected). Had to email again, and again and eventually it was honored. The whole experience was hell, left voice messages, nobody would call back and so on. I'm sure there must be other companies that are not perfect but more reliable. Very disappointed in this company. Called on a Friday around 12 PM and was told a dumpster would be delivered to a job site. They emailed over all paperwork right away, and I returned RIGHT AWAY. Here it is Monday, the dumpster was never delivered, and they never called to explain or reschedule. I call to make sure we are not charged and it is not going to be delivered whenever they decided to. The woman I spoke to seemed very careless. She said that I called in AFTER HOURS (I called around 12 noon) , and in order to guarantee same day delivery, the call needs to be received before 11 AM....... even though I did confirm with her that it would be delivered same day.. NEEDLESS TO SAY, do not use this company. there are many other dumpster and haul off companies in the Valley that are much more reliable. I am the customer that Debbie refers to. I called several times, never receiving a call back. The dumpster was supposed to be picked up on a Fri, that didn't happen. I called many times Sat, finally someone picked up (quite annoyed, I might add) and I was informed that they had no drivers on Sat and the dumpster would be picked up on Mon. I was already back in California so I have no idea when it was FINALLY picked up. As our Real Estate Agent, Debbie was overseeing all business while we were away. Regardless of who's name was on the contract, good customer service would have warranted a return call. And, as I expressed in the messages I left on Team Cleans voicemail, WE could not begin showing the house with a dumpster in the driveway.
