My mom has trusted De Alba Spring Street with her vehicles for many years. She isn't the best…read moredriver, but she always went back because they consistently treated her with patience and kindness. Even as she's gotten older, they've taken the time to explain what her vehicle needed in a way she could understand and always provided repair options to fit different budgets, which I really appreciated. As my mom's health has declined, it's become even more clear that they genuinely care about her as a person, not just as a customer. That kind of compassion is rare. If you're looking for an auto body shop, I highly recommend De Alba Spring Collision. They're a family-owned business that takes pride in serving the La Mesa community, and it shows in the way they treat their customers.

He mentioned how long it would take and confirmed the agree upon pricing. He actually did a good job masking the scratches on the bumper and fender. All good up to this point. However, when the final coat of paint was applied, the paint did not match the rest of the vehicle. I initially thought it was because the car needed to be washed, so I waited 5 days to wash it. Sure enough, the newly applied paint did not match. See pictures of one side of the bumper that had the repair work and theother side that did not have any damage. Was hopeful when I booked this service, and in fact, had also inquired about pricing for another vehicle that had some scratches. However, after seeing the finished product, I opted not to move forward and now regret that I did not go to a body shop instead. Lesson learned.

Wish I could leave zero stars for this shop. I had them attempt to repair my leather steering…read morewheel. It had a little rough patch in the leather. The guy was an idiot. He said he could try to repair the rough patch and paint the leather. He said it would look good for a while but eventually the paint would peel. I asked how they get stain it in the first place and he said the leather comes black because the cows are black. At the remark I should have run away. But we discussed the repair options and he said he could replace the leather for the damaged section. I left it with him a few days and when I followed up he said he would need to replace the leather on the whole steering wheel. I said OK, but when it was done and I showed up to see it, it was terrible workmanship. The stitching was awful and the seam was as twisted as a snake. I just paid and left, but I shoudl have cut my losses and refused to pay. The scuffed and worn steering wheel was better than what he gave me, but he removed the original leather so what I got in return for my $130 was a worthless piece of junk! I want a refund!
