These prices are unheard of anymore with drinks everywhere else in the $7+ range + nickel and diming people for toppings, some as much as $1 per topping. Tea Way Plus is basically the only affordable place to get a loaded boba drink in Vegas. My sister and I got 2 drinks with toppings and tax for $11. Absolutely shocked. While the place is small, they do have some seating and tables available for hanging out. They can do most teas 0% sugar. Apparently, it means you buy a drink and choose the toppings of your choice. Go as maximalist or minimalist as you want. Having just had dim sum next door, I opted for no toppings with my tea. I know, I know. I'm vanilla, but hey, can't a guy just get a Honey Oolong Iced Tea without judgment? Anyways, it was good! It was cold, refreshing, and gave me just enough caffeine to get through checking in to the hotel. Tea Way Plus is a great boba shop. The shop is clean and spacious with lots of comfy seating. We ordered the Butterfly Pea Mango Latte w/ oatmilk and the Mango Green Tea with foam. The Butterfly Pea Mango Latte had real chunks of mango that were a bit sour but was toned down by the milk. I got the brown sugar boba and it literally had no flavor whatsoever so ever, neither did the boba. Very disappointing :-( I will say the owner was amazing and brought us a both a slice of their new layered cake for free. It was delicious!! The plaza is dark, the lights are poorly lit, and there was broken glass all over the parking lot, so it wasn't a good first impression. The place is not super clean or bright, but there is quite an extensive menu, and the drinks are pretty unique. They were out of the coconut slush which I was looking forward to, but ended up getting two other drinks instead. If you love boba, definitely skip on the boba here. But their drinks are good. Boba was not self-serve as advertised, but it's probably because of COVID. Regardless, considering the plaza, the atmosphere, and the price of the drinks, I think it's too expensive for a good drink without boba, since toppings are included here. The business owner responded to my above review and negated everything I said (said they didn't have coconut slush, etc.), and rather looking at how they can do better, decided to be upset that I spoke honestly about this place.
