Friendly service and cute interior. Not a place to study as there are only 6 seats and one table inside. I ordered the Mochichi which is matcha and coconut milk/water. It was alright. The matcha wasn't as deep in flavor as I normally like it, and I wished I had adjusted the sweetness to a 50% instead of having it full 100%. I have wanted to try Tea Bar for a long time and I am so glad that I did. I was greeted immediately when I arrived. The vibe is so upbeat and totally hipster! The have a few tables where you can sit and a few sale items and games to play . Jelly who helped me was just amazing . The menu has Flavored Sparkling Waters to Boba Fruit Tea - Slushy's and Smoothie's. But so many varieties . I had a Watermelon Fruit Tea and it was Amazing. Every time I come here, I get the yeah coconut pineapple, yeah coconut mango, and my favorite, the yeah coconut watermelon. It's lightly creamy with the coconut milk and refreshing. Not too sweet as you can adjust the sweetness level. I typically get it with jelly. I live somewhat far but if I'm in the area, I would love to try other options. The owner is super nice and the store is really clean. Good selection of prizes for the crane machines. There's a selection of milk teas, fruit teas, coffee, slushes, smoothies, and drinks with sparkling water. They also have desserts. read more

Claw machines are the worst we have played and we have been to a lot of places . I pretty much can average 1 plushy from 3-5 plays , not here 1 out of 10 . Not only are the plushies tightly packed which you can normally use a couple tries to loosen but the claws are also set very loose . Drinks are great , best to do 50% sugar unless you like very sweet . So get the drinks but skip the claws read more

I've been coming to this place several times since I've known about it. So glad that there's a boba place close to downtown aside from No 1 Boba at Container Park. There's a bunch of claw machines here where all the music from them makes me feel like I'm in Lost in Translation. The milk tea tastes authentic and tasty. I personally like the coffee milk tea options as it gives me enough of a caffeine fix to keep me running all day. read more

New boba spot near UMC hospital! This place is bigger and nicer than you'd expect from the outside. There is limited seating, but some tables and chairs. The workers were nice and recommended I use their ordering tablet to see pictures of the drinks. They have high quality drinks, including the mango sea coconut that I tried. It was very refreshing! What surprised me were the numerous claw machines inside. The prizes look like real plushies, not knock offs, and they are unique compared to other claw arcades I've been to. I love bubble teas and this place is added to my list for this west side of town! Such a cute place to hang out but not too much room for a lot of people. I love how they have claw machines and even small ones for kids! So cute! Service was quick! Staff was so nice and friendly. She took her time to greet us and explain the drinks. Told us what her favorite ones were. Awesome service! I got the poplar nectar mango which was a mango pomelo drink with small coconut tapioca. It was fresh with the fresh mangos. Needed my boba fix and was in the area, so I decided to try Tea Bar! The shop is small with a few seats and a center coffee table. The decor style is colorful with street inspired art. I love that they have games to play and prizes to win while you wait or hangout. The menu is also relatively small with a variety of smoothies, milk tea, fruit tea, and coconut drinks. For all my boba lovers, you can get your drink in a bucket! To order, you can either use the kiosk or talk to the cashier. I ordered a large Yeah Watermelon Coconut with boba. The drink was refreshing with the perfect sweetness and chewy boba. I love that they use actual watermelon that is crushed up vs using watermelon syrup. While the drink was yummy, the watermelon definitely overpowered the coconut. Overall, this was a great first time trying Tea Bar! I'd love to come back to try more drinks. read more

Food: Way too much syrup in my drink. Took it home and had to cut it with water. Service: the one staff member that was there was very helpful, explaining the drink mixes. Ambience: claw machines were very teasing, music from them vs the music overhead was noisy and bad mixing. Store was darker than it should've been. The boba here was great! I ordered a pineapple passion fruit tea, 25% sweet, light ice, with regular tapioca boba. I loved there are pieces of fruit inside. The guy behind the counter was friendly and answered our questions. We played and lost the claw machine, but had fun doing it. read more

If I could id give this rating a 3.5 instead because this place was great! Just not for me. This is a new boba shop and it's sooo cute and the workers are so friendly I highly highly recommend trying it to see if you like it! We got three drinks. Original milk tea, Thai milk tea, and the Che Che strawberry. The original milk tea is a little too milky for my liking, not a very strong tea flavor. The Thai tea tasted great but is super sweet even at 50% so I'd recommend a lower sweetness. The strawberry was super yummy!!! Mood- The Food Guide Ok so by now most people know, I play the food adventure Guide. I love those moments when I'm able to expand someone's realm with food. Especially if they are on the fence and nervous. Most people really aren't as adventurous as they say, so they bring me around as I can show them with kid gloves how to expand that mindset. Opted for the strawberry Smoothie, Taro MT, Tropical FT, and a jelly dessert. Now if been out with me you know I don't really do to much milk so I get substitution. So with my Taro I got a coconut milk substitution. Now don't knock it until you try it. However all the drinks were wonderful. Interior is quaint. There are a few table and chair arrangements. I had been craving for a few months now and decided to try my nearest tea shop--boy am I glad this is my nearest tea shop! Immediately upon walking in, I was warmly greeted by the person at the register. Although it was my first time, the menu was easy to read. I ordered a Thai tea with pudding. I originally asked for 30% sweetness, but the cashier kindly let me know she recommended 50% sweetness for Thai tea. I went with her suggestion and also asked for less ice. She immediately got to making my order. As a result, I got my tea just a couple minutes after ordering. My Thai tea with pudding was amazing to say the least!! The sweetness level was perfect. My pudding was also delicious and the perfect amount of sweetness. I do think I would have personally enjoyed more pudding in my drink, but the amount of pudding was still great. Now I don't have to go to china town to get my fix for boba :) Super cute decor and the owner is super duper nice. So friendly and welcoming. The joy she had on her face when we enjoyed our drinks was so special! Please come to this business and the drinks are so so so good. So many unique and versatile options. Walked in and given a unique greeting, very happy associate, who upselled with zero pressure but I was just thirsty so she suggested boba and I was pleasantly surprised. The tea was deep and rich with flavor, boba tasted fresh and crushed passionfruit seeds at the bottom. Not sure if yuzu or mixture of that and lime but wow. One of the better teas I've had a tea bar that isn't milk tea. Will happily come here again.
