They recommend that you fill your toppings to a line on the cup but I won't tell if you go over...shhhh. We got the coconut milk tea with sea salt cream. It was so good! The slightly saltiness of the cream added the perfect balance to the sweetness of the tea. You can also adjust the sweetness level which I always appreciate. The boba is cooked well done...as in it was a bit too mushy for me, but given the other factors, it was still a great drink. I definitely recommend this place. read more

I am always looking for new boba spots! I came across Tea Way Plus and decided to check it out. It's located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. On the outside windows they have big pictures of some of their drinks which is appealing and would get customers in there! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a nice guy and we told him that it was our first time in and we asked him about their popular drinks and they actually have a menu for it! I like that that they have pictures of the drinks. They have a big selection and we went for 2 drinks on the popular menu - Butterfly Pea Mango Latte and for toppings mango jelly & mini boba & the Blended Watermelon Green Tea with Sea Salt Cream and for toppings ice jelly & strawberry jelly. Both drinks were tasty. Each drink comes with choice of up to 3 toppings which is great for the price. The inside is not that big but there is a bar top area and a few couches. I am super picky when it comes to boba topping itself that my list is very short. I went with the mini boba and the consistency was pretty good. The customer service is great. This place use to be Mr Z tea & I'm so sad they closed :( this boba shop is a bit interesting though. They are not the typical boba spot. I came here after eating some Korean bbq and It was not busy at all. We were the only ones there. The way to order is to choose a drink choice and size, then you pay for It. On the side of the of the register there's a topping bar with all different sorts of toppings. There's different jelly's and bobas to choose from but don't forget you need room for your drink! So after the toppings, you just give It to one of the workers who'll then finish It off. It's such a fun and easy process. They also do stamp cards so you must go back!! I got one of the popular ones which was the avocado with the sea salt cream & It was pretty good. I might want to try a more fruity drink with the sea salt cream. My boyfriend got the honey dew slush and you can never go wrong with that! It was so good. I can not believe it took so long for someone to come up with the concept of filling up your own toppings! There are many times at other places where it's so hard to have the right amount of boba. I love supporting small businesses, and I especially love how the owners here are super friendly. You can tell that they put so much heart into this store.
