We revisited this place for a quick review of their lunch take out. I really wanted to try other entrees but this time I wanted to confirm if the sesame chicken was as good as the last time. At lunch you get egg roll or won tons plus fried or steamed rice. Soup and tea are not included. Still we wanted a quick lunch at home so take out was our choice. My spouse had cashew chicken. I can report that once again the food was great. The sesame chicken was perfecto! It was moist and very tasty with the egg roll and fried rice. The portion was enough for two meals though someone very hungry could eat it all in one seating. I made two meals out of it. Clearly the best sesame chicken I've had in Colorado. The cashew chicken was also quite tasty. This place has been there a long time and some have commented on that even saying it seems dated. However I found it charming inside and my food was ready on time so I was in and out after paying online through their website. Now I remain anxious to try other items. The pricing is reasonable and competitive. This place remains my favorite for Chinese food and well worth a visit by those who favor Chinese dishes.

We love coming here. The food is always good, the service is quick, and the ambiance makes you feel comfortable (they have not remodeled this place since the 90s, it feels like being in someone's home). We always split the general tso's chicken, steamed rice, and green tea. It is plenty of food for two!

My one and only experience leaves me conflicted. At first the name is super enticing, but it's not like a tea garden I would expect. Then the food seems overpriced until I realized the portions are like a typical Chinese restaurant and you get 1 order that 2 people could definitely share. In the end, the workers changed my rating from a 3 to a 4 star because the inside is nothing to gawk at. Probably won't go back but I'm glad I went once to support them.

I always get the Mongolian beef with fried rice (no egg; I'm allergic) My husband always gets the General Tso chicken with the fried rice and he ALWAYS orders this and never has a complaint. My son gets the Sesames chicken also with fried rice and it's sweet and crunchy as they fry the chicken to mix in their sauce and it's worth every penny. Every time! Service sometimes can be short in communication but expected especially when they're working all day and don't have time to eat but their food never misses! The shrimp spring roll was good except one section had a bug in it. It happens, I just didn't eat that piece. The pho broth was deep and rich, tasted like it had been simmering for a long time. I enjoyed our meal here and would definitely come back!

The service was friendly and kind, happy to answer any of our questions we had about the menu, my friend and I both got lunch specials. I got the sweet-and-sour chicken with fried rice with egg drop soup. The wait time was relatively quick, the soup came out first and it was hot and fresh. It was a classic egg drop soup. The entrées then came soon after. Everything was hot steamy and fresh! I really enjoyed my sweet-and-sour chicken and fried rice. Nothing really stood out, but it wasn't bad either. It's definitely a good go to place when I wanna sit down with a friend for lunch. The price was great for all the food that we got and my friend couldn't finish her so she even got some leftovers. There's a lot of construction going around Arvada right now and this place was free from construction. I think I would definitely go back just because of the convenience of getting there and parking.

LOT FOOD FOR A GREAT COST!…read more We were HUNGRY! My Aspen (service dog loves shrimp!!) I'm the Veggie, and we were searching for a place rather close. Searching the area, we found a quiet unassuming, in a quiet neighborhood strip mall, simple place. Read the reviews, Hmmm sounds interesting. When entering in an off hour, there were other people filling the tables, "it must be good! With others' here at this time" What I found; Huge portions of lunch time food at a very reasonable cost! The Egg Drop soup was EXCELLENT, The Shrimp, well my Aspen devoured after I had one, it was plump - tender and flavorful. The Veggies, this is MY YUM and PLENTIFUL!! Fried rice - not so fried rather a steamed rice with soy, the egg roll was crisp, smaller than others (seems to be the new fashion these days) filled with wonderful veggies. Did I mention the Egg Drop Soup was DELICIOUS!!!! Our Server required being won over- at first, need to win her over with some compliments, then she smiled and giggled. This was LUNCH menu and it is plentiful and reasonable cost! The place is very clean and ample seating. Meals come quickly, be prepared. No outside seating, and it's a chilly October day.
