You can get the Champagne Afternoon Tea for $85 or Celebratory Afternoon Tea for $95. When we arrived we saw people enjoying their tea but we didn't see a host stand to check in so we went to Orchids and the hostess showed us where to wait. There were five tables that seat four people each and one server. I tried the Halekulani 40th Anniversary Blend and my daughter tried the Pineapple Coconut Rooibos with Mango (caffeine free). We both enjoyed our tea. We enjoyed the scones with strawberry preserves, lemon curd and cream as well as the lemon poppy seed cake. We also enjoyed the Bresaola Beef, spinach tartelette, salmon gravlax and chicken salad sandwich with peanuts. The space is near Fort DeRussy and there's parking if you need it - just call them and they'll guide you. 4. Upon arrival, you're greeted and once you're seated in front of a TV, you'll watch a video that gives you an intro to chado. You'll also be handed an envelope for a donation. 5. After the video is over, you'll be taken to a separate room. You'll have to take off your shoes outside. In this room, it's tea ceremony time. You'll be given a homemade sweet - we were given chestnut paste, topped with flakey salt. One person will be doing the demo while another talks about what's happening. You'll be given usucha (thin tea) in a chawan. They also encourage you to ask questions throughout. 6. The experience felt thoughtful and calming - I definitely recommend scheduling a ceremony!

Review 51 (2026)…read more Stayed from 8/18-8/23/2026. We booked/reserved last March, Golf course view with Lanai. This was the third time staying at Kahala hotel. We stayed in 2024 60th anniversary/birthday, (Kahala hotel was built in 1964), and in 2025. When checked in, Front desk Ms. Lingling Yu assisted us, she offered upgraded with free charge, to Dolphins room. Our room was located in Dolphins Lagoon, when we opened the lanai door, we could see the huge lagoon, Dolphins were swimming right in front, also we could see ocean. Fantastic!!! Everyday we enjoyed breakfast at Plumeria Beach House, looking at the ocean and garden. Our choices were, Thin pancakes, Vegetable omelette, Açai bowl, and Classic Egg Benedicts, everyday different menu. Servers were so nice, some staffs remembered us. The last day checked out day, server brought birthday cake for me. On 8/21, we ordered "Grand Kahala Breakfast ($100)" Room in service at 10am. Room service came at around 10am, server brought big table into our room, set up for us. Food and coffee were just made, cold menu as fresh and cold, hot menu as fresh and hot. We spent the most of the time in the hotel, just lying down at pool area, reading the books, taking a walk along the beach. For shopping or a little trip, hotel provided free shuttle buses to Kahala Mall, Waikīkī and Ala Moana. We loved "Kahala burger "at Seaside Grills. For dinner, we went to Arancino at the Kahala 2 times, Alan Wong inside property, a few times we went outside the property. Everyday Ms. Lingling Yu texted me, " How are you doing? If you need anything please let me know". How sincere and thoughtful. Daily housekeeper cleaned up our room, always gave us amenities. When we needed something we called, housekeeper came and brought right away. Over all, I will give 10+++ stars. The awning above will say Waikiki Tea. It's immediately after an open parking lot if you're walking or driving down the one way street. I'm not sure if you can park in there or not but I found loading zone parking so I parked there and walked over. When you enter, you'll see some indoor seating, the coffee prep area and a display case of some of their cakes. It's a cozy spot but clean and white. My most recent visit was to pick up a birthday cake for a friend. He's been talking about it so I figured it would be something nice to surprise him with. Hopefully he enjoys the surprise and is able to share the cake with all his loved ones. Due to the holidays, Lady M is busy and sells out so preordering is best. I was just extremely lucky they had a Signature cake available the day I called. The person on the phone took down my info and asked what time I was going to pick up the cake then put it on the side for me. Unfortunately, they don't hand write Happy Birthday on the cake but they did provide me a complimentary Happy Birthday cake topper which was nice. Overall great cake option for any occasion.

Kevin helped us decide on our black box Royce Chocolates. It's a little pricey but the black quality of the chocolate is divinely melt in your mouth full of rich, creamy goodness and delicious chocolate!!! Royce' is famous for the Nama chocolates all the way from Japan. But guess what?! You don't need to fly to Japan to get your hands on them! Just drive yourself to Beach Walk in Waikiki and I guarantee you'll thank me for it!! Yup, you will! ;) We also picked up a few flavors of the Lady M Mille Crêpes. We got Amedei Chocolate, Pistachio, Chestnut and Tiramisu. Each layers of the cake is made with perfection!!! I paired mine with an ice caramel macchiato. It would probably taste better with a hot caramel macchiato but it was a little sunny so I opted for the ice drink. The coffee is also sooo good!!! It almost remind me of the coffee I had in France! All the drink pairings provided tasted great. By the time the main entrees began to come out they were a little cold but still tasted great. That night we were able to exclusively purchased the wines and vodka that was provided for future pick up. We have not heard back on a pick up date and no response received via email after 2 business days after receiving prior email communication in a timely manner leading up to the event. All in all I would like to go back to check out the restaurant on its own.
