The restaurant itself was absolutely gorgeous, windows covering the walls to let in open light, the temperature was perfect for dining and the open kitchen was not too loud at all. With a $5 add on for 2 small slices of extra pork that's a $20 bowl. So yes, 3 stars. They have bottled Kirin so I might be back, but I will be exploring the other menu items.
