Service was alright loud as music took 8 min to get our stuff and my elote entro came out cold! place is mid

Menu from the QR code advertised

Overpriced and poorly managed. The menu advertised 4 tacos for $14.99, but I was given three and told the menu was "old," even though that price was still shown on their QR code menu when you enter. Management refused to fix the issue. Service wasn't great overall, and the music is extremely loud while staff speak very softly when calling out orders you can barely hear your order number. The food wasn't even that good and is only dessert worthy. Disappointing experience.

This is a really hard review to give. I'm always one to review after I've tried the place at least twice. Stopped by the day after the grand opening. Service was wonderful, Josue was so extremely helpful and allowed us to taste test ice creams prior to selecting our choices. Duvalin, Fresas con crema, cookies & cream, and coconut ice cream are all on point. Delicious, creamy, flavorful ice cream. Sooo many varieties of ice cream, paletas, food, and snacks. Incredible! This day was the perfect experience...we didn't attempt any food, however I did note it was a bit warm. It appears there are coolers in the business, not central a/c. Stopped in 6/21 late evening for a snack and paletas. The wave of heat that hit me when I opened the door. I contemplated leaving. It didn't seem extremely busy but then I realized the group ahead of me hadn't ordered, we only saw one girl trying to handle this crowd, it was hot and was just an immediate turn off so we left. I think of everything cool/refreshing when I think of ice cream, especially in this heat. Not sweating indoors or sitting miserably eating my ice cream as fast as possible before it melts. Although this is a very aesthetic experience, the heat and slow service at peak time, it's going to be a no for me.

Wide variety of ice cream flavors and other items. Location was also pretty clean, and since it was a bit slow service was fast!

I live nearby and had no idea they opened at 9 a.m. Now, I know where to go when I'm craving birria before the 11 a.m. rush. Kassandra was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout my visit. I ordered two burrito combos, a watermelon and lime margarita with a sugar rim, a strawberry and mango margarita with a tajín rim, and the top sampler platter. I enjoyed everything, but the margaritas were definitely the highlight! I rarely drink alcohol during the summer, so I was excited to try the margaritas this establishment had to offer, and they did not disappoint. I also noticed a new establishment across the street with a similar name. I asked Kassandra if both restaurants had the same owner? As I suspected, they did! After paying my bill, I decided to head across the street to check out the owner's new restaurant. The staff at Mariscos Cortez was very welcoming and I'll definitely be returning to explore their menu! Note: Keep your receipt for 10% off your next visit! Offer valid for 14 days.

They were stuffed with tender meat and were not excessively greasy. They come with onion and cilantro and three different salsas. Kind of embarrassed to say I ate it all but I couldn't help it. The place has interesting murals and Mexican music and clay plates which made it feel more authentic. Service was friendly although they gave my plate to the person next to me, they went back and brought me my food fairly quickly. The horchata was also very good.

First time here and it was such a positive experience. I was a little confused about dressed code…read morebut it really is a mix. We were over dressed but there were some really casually dressed people so I'd say just come hungry or sort of hungry. I had seen all the buzz about the fried cactus and as someone who has grown up eating all my life I was intrigued on how this would be any different. Boy was I wrong. In fact, I would be happy enough just coming and eating only this. I have some sort of food limerence where I cannot stop thinking about this. Like daily! I want it so bad. No it was a whole experience because waiter placed this bowl towering with a mountain of curly crunchy ribbons. He kindly gave us his advice on the best way to eat it. You take their fresh made blue corn tortilla, pile on the cactus, don't be shy, if it fits in your mouth just go for it, then that green sauce was heavenly. All the flavors combined made me levitate. That would've been embarrassing. You could easy fill up on this alone given enough time and privacy. I just wanted a moment alone to enjoy fully ha ha. I then ordered the Chile en Nogada and the picture alone was enough for me to go yes we're on our way immediately. However listen I am a self proclaimed gift wrapping queen. I know a good ribbon and a good bow. I know that the typical dish has a bow - yes a fabric bow but this bow was not up to the standard of this restaurant, unfinished edges, and the color satin gold was not really representative of the environment. Good thing the bow is not edible but visually it could use a little improvement. The dish itself was 4 out of 5 for me only because I have had this dish before at a more casual space and every component of the dish was full flavored, where this one feels a bit safe. For dessert I was a little unimpressed with the options. I am not a fan of tres leches so I did not order their most famous desert but instead opted for another one that was a pastry with ice cream on top. I also give it 4 out of 5 its needing more flavor and sweetness, I mean this is dessert. The five stars is more for the service. Our server was amazing. He described every dish we ordered as if we were watching a Netflix documentary of a chef competition and they just submitted their dish. The table next to us got an amuse bouche compliments of the chef and I didn't want to be too nosy and peek over so I have no idea what it was. I was really hoping we'd get one too because honestly I was still hungry after all that. Oh cocktails. We ordered a drink before our table was available and I was not playing. I remember ordering a glass of bubbly rose and when our server brought it he served me a sip and had me try it before I decided, but honestly I wanted to tell him that I couldn't feel my face just pour it.

My friend said we HAD to try Joe T's...ummm it was all hype...and a bit unorganized…read more After a Saturday afternoon event we drove here to test it out. At first glance it seemed very cool, ambience was very welcoming, like we were at a family members home. However, the issues began when it was time to order. There were so many exclusions available after lunch time that we didn't really know what we ordered. My friend and I ordered margaritas...barely a drop of alcohol in either and were melted when they arrived. The other thing is a server brought out a plate of nachos (large tortilla with melted cheese) but didn't tell us it was two separate orders. Another friend ate mine by accident. Our server spilled some of my margarita on the table then wiped her hands on our tablecloth. Absolutely unsanitary. I ordered the small enchilada plate and $22 later I was disappointed. Food was mid at best, nothing was spectacular or cause to return. The cash only rule was fine until they told us they wouldn't split the check. Keep in mind that we barely know what each of us ordered since the server suggested items not found on the menu. I just added $40 and said good day. I've had DoorDash deliver better Mexican food than this.

The beans had a lot going on and included ingredients that probably should be mentioned when ordering. She thought the fries were decent, but said the birria tacos were just okay and that she's had much better elsewhere in the area. The service is good and straightforward. You walk up to order, grab a seat, and wait for your buzzer to go off. One thing to note: if you order drinks, keep an eye out for them because they're not brought to your table. As for my meal, I tried the mushroom, shrimp, and pastor tacos. The pastor was underwhelming, and the shrimp was overcooked. The mushroom taco was easily the standout and will definitely be my go-to if I come back. The weather will soon be nice for enjoying the patio, but there's also plenty of indoor seating available.
