There are no signs out front indicating the actual business is here when I went today. The young Indian man taking my order did not have gloves on when reaching for my waffle cone so his bare hands touched every part of the cone. I wasn't expecting there to be so many flavors of ice cream ACTUALLY in the display! Nor was I prepared for the delicious ice cream cakes that awaited me in the fridge close to the entry door. I immediately decided that this location is the one. My daughter wanted the creature creation, a $4 one-scoop of ice cream topped with a cute character, so I obliged her today. The unicorn, as we learned, comes with a unicorn horn piece made of chocolate and vanilla, you pick which flavor of ice cream you want for your one scoop, then it's topped with sprinkles. The mermaid, the one we've tried before, gets a mermaid tail ring placed in your choice of ice cream scoop and your choice of candy topping. So I think she liked the mermaid better, lesson learned. My order was a brownie sundae with 2 scoops of mint chocolate chip ice cream with chocolate topping. I opened the bag and looked into the sundae carton and was astonished at what I received. First, the carton didn't even look like it had anything in it. Second, the "scoops" of ice cream that I ordered looked like a toddler tried to make it. Probably the size of a potato chip. Third, it was somewhat melted and looked like someone might've scraped some chocolate off the side. Fourth, the brownie was either frozen or so hard that it almost broke my metal spoon. So, I called the store to speak to a manager. Before I can get my ticket number to him; he rudely interrupted me by saying, "Excuse me, ma'am, can you quickly get to the point? I'm extremely busy; I have a lot of customers here." I was taken back and offended at the same time. So I said," You don't have time to listen to a paying customer?" I've ordered this cake for my son's birthday at least 3 times and my daughter's birthday a minimum of 5 times. I have no doubt I ordered the correct cake.
