The two staples from our order.
Megan T.

Literally mortified. I ordered two birthday cake remixes to be delivered to the house. Upon eating the ice cream and taking a bite I cracked my tooth and was MORTIFIED to find a staple in my ice cream. I couldn't remove it for a while.. I let it go. A few moments later my husband pulls out a staple from his ice cream. Picture attached. Avoid this spot. That could have killed us.

Chocolate Devotion

The first time I visited this location, they were closed. Fortunately, I had much better luck on my second attempt. I got a medium Chocolate Devotion in a chocolate-dipped waffle bowl. While pricey at $11.50 before tip, it was definitely worth it. The best bites were the ones with a piece of the brownie and a chocolate chip.

coffee ice cream $4.59. highly recommend

One of my favorite ice cream places so far! I just got a coffee ice cream as a 1st try. at $4.59, its on the slightly pricier side for a delicious scoop, but it was spot on! No ice chunks, it was very creamy and the consistency was amazing. There's plenty of other flavors there too when I get the chance to come back. The staff was friendly and right behind this ice cream place is a huge park complex with plenty of things to do! This might take the edge from Andy's imo. FYI theres a few Pokemon Go stops right there!

This was the WORST Coldstone I've ever been to. This is my favorite ice cream place and I came in with a great attitude and was very patient. They were rude, acted like it was a bother for me to order, didn't fill up my cup all the way, and were rolling their eyes every time anyone spoke. They also messed up on a previous customers order and didn't say anything to me like "excuse me let me handle this" or anything. They simply said can you let him by please with an attitude, grabbed the kids cup that has been eaten out of and scooped it out with their ice cream scooper and added the missing ingredient. That is DISGUSTING and I was very glad my ice cream was already made but I still am not sure I even want it. It also smelled like mildew the minute we walked in the door. Anyways, avoid this location and avoid having your day ruined!

Avoid. Just turn around. Save yourself the ten minutes.

Worse service ever! From the eye rolls to hostile interpersonal communication to the throwing of ice cream cup in counter. This was the cherry on the big ol' heaping shit of a family restaurant. Not ever again!

The place is really neat, even from the outside looking in. It has all the ambiance an ice cream place should have. Nice and inviting, benches to do on inside and a beautiful patio area outside. The service was fantastic. The gentleman helping me was very nice, offered flavor samples and explained the sizes and did so without making me feel like he does it 100 times a day. With me and with others, he focused like each of us was his only care in the world while he waited on us. The ice cream, I ordered the Cookies & Cream was good. It was also smooth and creamy, and it did not upset my stomach like some ice creams do, indicating to me this was quality ice cream made from quality ingredients. But as for Fort Worth Star Telegram's claim of them being the best? Personally I think that honor goes to another ice cream outlet. No shame in that though, this was really good ice cream and I can see why some people might say it's their favorite!

Honestly, the ice cream here was pretty mid, especially for the price. Even if they're using…read morehigher-quality or organic ingredients, it just didn't translate into flavor. Everything tasted kind of flat, and the portions felt smaller than expected. Service was nice though -- really thoughtful and friendly -- and I did like the decor and overall ambiance. It's a good-looking spot, just not one where the ice cream backs it up.

Unfortunately, I failed to notice the ice cream display case. Although he knew it was my first visit, he failed to mention the ice cream flavors inside the case. Browsing between the Rolled Ice Cream and Crepe & Liege Waffles menus, I finally chose the Nutella crepe. Not until I got home did I realize I was ordered the Kinder Bueno. Both have Nutella, so I did not notice while eating the crepe. The crepe was very soft and chewy. At first bite, I initially thought it was undercooked. Definitely not the type to be eaten on the go without utensils. In addition to the Nutella, a medium-sized banana was sliced and spread inside and out. Lastly, the store is not ideal for dine-in. With only four tables, two inside and two outside, each with several chairs. A handful of stools placed by the exterior window for additional seating.

The man working the counter was so nice and patient as we decided on what to order. I grabbed a slice of the Nutella cheesecake which was served with strawberries on the side and my kiddo grabbed some ice cream on a waffle cone and we enjoyed our treats on their outdoor seating. With the many choices this place offers, it'll be cool to stop by and try something new every once in awhile.

In…read morejust a few years, Cookie Society has grown the OG Frisco location (opened during COVID) to multiple stores in DFW. Luckily for the folks in Southlake, you now have your own place to go. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The location in Southlake is the smallest location that I've been to. While there's no merch, there is still the intoxicating smell of freshly baked cookies along with several cookies behind the glass case. It's simple, but that's ok with me. 1 Star. Service - The staff is super nice. I came (back) for Yelp Week (thanks again, Kendall) because it was an excuse for me to get more cookies. The staff offered to share their story, but I politely asked for the flavors of the month. They even packaged up the cookies in the beautiful Tiffany Blue boxes for me. 1 Star. Food - Full Disclosure, Cookie Society cookies are my favorite in all of DFW, so this review may be biased. Each cookie is perfectly baked where they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. If you choose one a flavor is something inside, it's soft and gooey. Cookie Society will rotate flavors each month, but they keep several staples on hand all the time (chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, etc.). It's a great excuse to return. Horchata Snickerdoodle was one of the rotating flavors as of this writing. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I drove all the way to Frisco when Cookie Society opened. When the Addison location opened, I jumped for join b/c it was close to home. Now there's a Southlake location for my family. Can't wait go come back. 1 Star.

I came here once before, but on that particular day the line was nearly out the door so I made a beeline and decided to shoot my shot on a day with less patrons. Pandemic fatigue is real, but I still have boundaries. When I walked in there were so many options and I was happy to also see that it was nice and clean. When ordering, I played it safe and went with something familiar (the mangonada). They had 2 versions: Frozen (called "Mangonada") for $3.50 or slush (called "Chamuco") for $5.75. The one I wanted of course was pricier ‍. Both cash and card are accepted. The sell ice cream, candy, chips, nachos, chicharrones...basically Mexican snacks. If you like spice, sweet or sour/tangy. You'll find an enjoyable treat here. The attendant was bilingual (so no fears for purely English speakers), but I enjoy practicing my Spanish when I can and it was appreciated. The door has signage that says masks are required, but there was one gentleman (customer) not wearing one, and they didn't seem to have an issue with it. Soooo...yea. ‍ I'll be back since it's so close to home (literally and figuratively). It was the perfect addition to a beautiful Texas Spring day! Reminds me of my SoCal days.
