I am disappointed by the service today, I usually come all the time here with my family with a great experience however the new staff needs improvement. Took longer than usual, I never got my other order I placed I had to ask them for it. I came to this place for the free sampler advertisement and was not disappointed! Drinks are good and the boba was soft, sugary, and chewy. High quality and fresh boba is what this place is about! The service here was great! I've had boba tea before, but my cousins hadn't and the owner did a great job of helping explain the menu and letting us try things. I got the taro coconut creamy tea with coconut lychee (it's not on the menu but she made it for me) it was amazing! My cousins all really enjoyed their drinks too. 10/10! Very clean! read more

I'm glade to see the Teahouse is clean, I hate entering a store that is dirty especially food and beverage places. It has nice decor and the staff seems friendly. The ordering process went smoothly and the cashier that help me seem to have pride with the product which is good. Okay talking about the actual drink, let start with the boba. I think the boba is tasty, it's not overly sweet, soft, seems fresh, and not overly soft that it sticks to your teeth when chewing it. I think in all the boba is made well. As for the tea itself, I got the house special Carmel Milk Tea. I didn't really like it. I thought the tea is has a slightly watered down taste or either that the Carmel flavor is over powering it which I'm not sure. I don't like the Carmel taste, it's too sweet in its own way and mask some of the natural tea flavor. It remind me of Carmel flavored coffee except it just does match flavor wise since it's tea. I chose to get the tea because it's my first time and wanted to try there signature milk tea. One last comment, not sure what is up with these tea places keep going up on prices. A cup of tea should be under $4 ($4.25 max) and add topping brings up the price a little. $4.75 a cup is too expensive and once you add topping its over $5. read more

Eh, nothing special about this boba place. It's our first time trying this place. Although, I did like my Horchata Cream Tea. BUT my husband ordered Avocado smoothie!?! Well, I don't know if it's really avocado cuz it tastes more like colored light green sugar smoothie. NO avocado taste what so ever. We also ordered bbq bao and dumplings. Its not bad, but the bao sticks in my teeth and the dumpling is too thick. Good flavor though. Maybe we will try this place again next time. It's a pretty busy establishment. read more

I tried their House special, which tasted similar to a caramel milk tea and their taro carnival (without the crystal boba and with caramel boba) and it was like a salty sweet caramel explosion in my mouth! Ahhhh. I went there with some family out of town! There was only one employee working when we were there, so our drinks took some extra time to make. The aloe vera we got was really spoiled and all the drinks were too sweet or tasted very off compared to a lot of other places who make the same, classic beverages. I really wish I liked it. My drink was very flavored and overpowering and the other drinks were not very good. Everyone was in agreement. Sad to say I'm disappointed, but may visit again to give it a second chance. read more

I am always a huge supporter of small businesses. In all honesty, the service is great. The manager was friendly and guaranteed the drink, but the drink itself was disappointing. There was more syrup and mango flavored sweetener that made up my mango smoothie than actual fruit. She literally pulled out a tiny bag with 4 small cubes of mango and added that to my drink, I also had requested low sugar... which she did, but the "purée" used must have been sweet enough it made my smoothie all too sweet. I tossed it unfortunately and my craving went unquenched. I did have The Teahouse on Shepard Drive yesterday as I was craving it then as well, and perhaps that set the bar up high... meh. I also came here a year ago and asked for an avocado smoothie. They told me they didn't use actual avocados so I came in this route willing to try something new but hoping business goes well as I don't think I'll do a third try. Thanks. read more

I was super excited to see this place open close by. Decided to stop in today and ordered a Taro smoothie. The decor is very calming. Restroom was clean. The staff are very friendly and smiling. Offered me a sample of the crystal and caramel boba. The caramel was nice and fresh and not hard like some other places. I'd never had the crystal boba before and didn't care much for it. But they said it pretty much takes on the flavor of whatever it's with. The Taro smoothie w/ caramel boba ended up totaling $5.95 so I was thinking I'm gonna get a HUGE cup...NOT! It was an average about 12 oz (?) cup. The taste was average for Taro. I've had better and I've had a lot worse. There was chunks of ice still in the smoothie which has been a rare occurrence for me at other spots and the ice was nasty like an unfiltered taste. Since they are new, I'll let it slide this time, but if I had 2 words of advice, they would be 1. Come down on the price 2. Get a better blender for no chunks (I'll let y'all borrow my Ninja for a week lol). Overall, I'm willing to try it out again just because it's close and they have a rewards program. read more

They can be slow making their drinks and the past few times I've had spilled drinks bc the lid isn't properly sealed which can be annoying if it happens often. This is a brand new boba place with ample seating and plenty of table top space to do homework and study. I got the Jasmine green milk tea and it was just as good as a lot of the boba places I look to visit that are in town. I'm pretty happy this place opened up cause it's literally a 3 min drive and I love finding new places to study. Wishing this place lots of success! read more
