The boba me and my GF got was really delicious. The service was good and the employees were nice. The ambiance was nice too.

This place is very expensive and the food and boba weren't great. It was over $125 dollars for 5 boba drinks, 3 orders of popcorn chicken, two fried rice, three fries, and one order of wings. For that price and the quality of the food and drinks we received, I doubt I'll be going back. The boba was not (idk the word I am searching for) fresh? It was very soggy. The Thai tea did was not good and didn't taste like Thai tea. The popcorn chicken was more breading than anything. The garlic Parmesan fries didn't taste like garlic. The shrimp fried rice had two shrimp. We were excited to try this place out and we're left wanting. read more

I love that milk tea spots are opening now around the area and this is one of the new additions. I tried it twice now, the first one I had my son get the orders for me in which one of my food orders were given wrong. So I called the place to have it fixed in which they did. I told them I won't be able to come by that day and get the right order so I have them put my info so I can get the right order next time I come by. With that being said, I stopped by the other day to get my boba fix and finally get the food order I was supposed to get the first time. I ordered Drinks: Tea Amo Matcha Latte, Taro Milk Tea and Chocolate Milk Tea. Foods: Spicy Calamari and Popcorn Chicken. Drinks: Matcha latte was actually made just right for my taste. It's also topped with caramelized sugar but it does not make the drink overly sweet. I didn't tweak any sweetness on all my drinks and left it as is and it's actually sweetened in just the right amount of sugar so that was a plus for me. Their boba pearls though did not amaze me to say the least. It's somewhat bland tasting to me and it could use a little bit of boiling time for it to achieve that chewiness form. Foods: Okay I have a bone to pick on the two snacks that I ordered from them. I finally got my crispy spicy calamari and boy was I very disappointed. First off, I didn't get to see my food orders' quantity until I got home and opened the bag. I can actually count the amount of the squid my box contained. Okay, that kinda threw me off, then the flavor just wasn't there. The spiciness I tasted, but the other spice flavor it had was a bit lacking. It was also chewy and kind of thick on the batter. Popcorn chicken was also disappointing. I get that they want to distinguished themselves and make their own name in the boba game, but this just wasn't it. The chicken meat was almost non existent as they have their meats cut up into tiny pieces. It looked almost like it's pure batter, like the ones you scrapped off the bottom of the frying mesh, the leftover fried batters. It was also very chewy and lacking flavor. So these two snacks was a disappointment for me. It's nice that the person actually remembered me and the mixed up that happened so I gave them a big thumbs up for their service and friendly approach. Though I can't say the same with their snacks and the quality and quantity of it. With all these boba place popping up left and right, they need to up their game if they wanted to compete with them. Some boba places who also offered snacks on their menu gives more than enough quality and quantity that it was worth the price they charge you for their food. There's not much Boba place here in Manteca unlike the Bayarea where we used to live. Now that Tea Amo is here we will be here all the time. Was waiting for my order at a nearby restaurant and was pleasantly surprised to see this new boba shop in Manteca! Decided to go inside just to take a look, but I ended up ordering three drinks. I went during their soft opening so they had an awesome buy 2, get one drink free offer. It took me a while to decide on what I wanted, but the worker at the register was super friendly, patient and answered any questions I had. The inside of the shop is very spacious, with plenty of seating to hang out. They have a wide variety of drink options as well as some quick bites such as wings and fries. I have attached a picture of the entire menu at the time to my review. I ended up getting: - Thai tea with boba - Signature Milk tea with boba - Sea Crema Fresh Tea with boba My mom and I enjoyed all three drinks and thought what we got was fair for what we paid. I do typically prefer my boba itself more sweetened, but I know that is just personal preference. I saved the Sea Crema Fresh tea in the refrigerator to drink the next day, and the quality of the boba did not diminish! In the past I've had to reheat day old boba from other establishments, but I'm so happy I did not have to do that with Tea Amo's boba. Out of the three drinks I got I would say the sea crema fresh tea was my favorite! The sea crema was sweet with a hint of salt and tastes comparable to crema's I've had at other boba shops. All in all I really enjoyed my experience and will certainly be back! :) I recommend you all give Tea Amo a try and am happy that we now have another boba option in Manteca. read more

After stumbling upon this place on Yelp with decent reviews, we couldn't resist giving it a shot, and it definitely lived up to our expectations. When we arrived on a lazy Saturday afternoon, there was just one person ahead of me in line. Opting for the convenience of the kiosk, my drink was quickly prepared. The drinks are good. We usually get the Taro Storm, Avocado Storm and the ube coffee. You have the option of making the drinks dairy free. I'm knocking off a star for the service. I ordered on DD for pick up and got a notification it was ready for pick up before the estimated ETA. When I got there, it was not done. I had to wait 15 extra minutes. They probably shouldn't notify customers on the DD app that the order is ready ahead of the ETA. If it wasn't done, I would have been fine waiting in the car, but now I'm inconveniently standing around, waiting inside because all the seats were taken. The lady at the front didn't apologize or anything that it wasn't ready. I probably wouldn't have made this bad review if she did apologize for the wait, that was poor customer service. Also, right before I wrote this review, I looked up their health score, 12 violations! If I knew that before I ordered, I wouldn't have. I don't think I'm coming back here until they have a good health inspection score. read more

Came during the 4th day of their soft opening and there was a bit of a crowd which drew me to making a stop to try out what they have. We ordered a spicy crispy calamari, popcorn chicken, a drink from their stormy series called Taro Brulee, a Chamango (Mango slushie and Chamoy with mango bits), and Oolong Milk Tea with Egg and Matcha Pudding. All I have to say is that everything was great and tasted great. I would definitely recommend stopping by and seeing what they have because it's definitely different than what the other boba spots in this area have. Hence why I gave them 5 stars. This place is so good, we live in stockton. But this one's beats all the boba places we've tried in our hometown. The taro stormie is my favorite. I usually add pistachio! My go-to's have been an Ube Coffee (Ube flavored Vietnamese Coffee) and Lavender Milk Tea. While you're there, give their food menu a try too. My husband and I really enjoy their Garlic Noodles and Cajun Fries Rice topped off with Popcorn Chicken, Fried Shrimp, and Hot Links. The interior is a plus. Super cute and somewhat spacious. I was sooo excited to see Manteca was getting a new boba shop! Finally got a chance to go try it today. They're having a soft opening deal~ buy two drinks and get a medium drink any one topping for free. The interior is very aesthetic and spacious, lots of seating options. I can easily see this as a new hangout spot. They serve traditional boba shop snacks like popcorn chicken, chicken wings, and a variety of fries among other things. The drinks we got were the Butterfly Jasmine, Mocha Coffee Latte, Okinawa, and Signature. Everyone enjoyed their drinks!
