I researched several places and it became such a chore. I'm a proactive type of person vs. reactive and wanted everything checked and serviced at a reasonable and fair price. With AI and Google is becoming increasingly more difficult to get scammed. I didn't do what I usually do with requesting the old parts that were removed from the car but I figured with the paperwork and warranty that I'd be okay. Overall it was a Fantastic experience. I was on the fence with two of the repairs and the discussions I had with them, I chose not to do one of them since I'm not the owner of the car. They explained it could wait age I cos give her the option to move forward with the others. Yes, I paid a pretty penny but they were fair, fast, and detailed. Is definitely used then again and recommend them to my friends in the DFW area.

They went way over the budget we had discussed, and they were very slow to respond to any correspondence. The car agreed to buy was to be in complete "like new" working order. The AC did not work in the heat of August. Sidco requested we return the car for repair which we did, but then after driving all the way to Forth Worth where they are located from down town Dallas, Sidco wanted to keep our already purchased vehicle for an extended amount of time without providing a loaner car. (again, they advertised the car to be in like new condition, but the vehicle we purchased from them was not. They should have provided an alternate vehicle while the one we had just purchased was getting repaired) What Sidco Auto says they provide, is not what they delivered. It has been awful! We did not get the exact model discussed, AC did not work, they went way over our budget which our lender would not cover. Now they will not pay for our out of pocket expenses on the repair of our AC. If you are not an expert in used cars, or auctions yourself, just stick with Kelly Blue Book, Consumer Reports and go to a reputable name brand dealer.

He also answered all of my questions about what they do and gave me a timeline on how soon I would need it. All he needed was a business day's notice so he could order what he needed. I dropped my car off around lunch time yesterday and my car was ready by around 10AM the next day. OMG - my car rides so freaking smooth now! Better than when I first bought it. My mind is blown! Unfortunately, my recent experience under the new ownership and management has been completely different. I took my car in for what should have been a routine oil change, and that was the beginning of a series of problems. After the service, I started experiencing issues with my vehicle that I had never experienced before. It was extremely frustrating and disappointing to see a business I had trusted for more than two decades provide such a poor level of service. I contacted the new owner to explain the problems I was having. He told me he was busy helping other customers and said he would call me back. Unfortunately, he never did. That lack of follow-up and professionalism was especially disappointing after being a loyal customer for so many years. I am extremely frustrated with this experience and, sadly, I will not be returning to Metro Champion. It is unfortunate to see the level of service and professionalism decline so significantly after more than 20 years of trusting this shop with my vehicles.

Back in August 2024, during the brutal Texas heat, I accidentally overheated my SUV and completely blew out the engine. The tow truck driver told me it was "unrepairable" and suggested I start looking for a new vehicle. Let me tell you--it was so worth the drive. Joel and his team replaced my engine for only $2,400! On top of that, I was able to get some additional maintenance done while the vehicle was already in the shop. What stood out most to me was the honesty and transparency from start to finish.
