FAMILY TOYOTA of BURLESON My Lexus was recently totaled…read moreafter I incurred two "no fault" accidents within 3 weeks of one another both caused by non-insured drivers. According to one of my adjusters (as I was dealing with two separate claims), that sort of thing doesn't usually happen! I wasn't planning on buying a new car for a few years as I'd had such good experiences with my last two Lexus vehicles. But it all changed when that last accident totaled three cars due to someone driving under the influence. And so began my search for the perfect new (or potentially used) car. I went to so many dealerships and test drove everything I thought I might like. Volvos, Lexus, Subaru, Mazda, Mercedes, BMW and Toyota to name a few. I called dealerships. I searched online. I had so many tabs open on my phone & photos saved that it was beginning to overwhelm me. I was disappointed and lied to by more than one salesman to be sure until I visited FAMILY TOYOTA in Burleson. My salesman was Dominic Gomez and how he changed my perspective of a car salesman! He was honest & upfront with me and genuinely cared about my needs, budget and concerns. He heard me out and was patient to the point of even setting up my phone with the Toyota App. When I was ready to buy my new Toyota BZ, he didn't flinch when I said I needed to drive the Toyota Crown "just to be sure" since I love a luxury car. In the end, I went with the new 2026 BZ Limited BEV (battery electric vehicle) as I just love the smooth ride, platform and trim (not to mention the huge savings by not buying gasoline)! The store's General Manager is Dustin and he was most accommodating & helpful, too. I was so impressed with the no pressure sales and how clean & organized this dealership is as well. I really can't say enough having been through so much these last two months as I did extensive research & was really losing hope until I walked into FAMILY. I had other car salesmen from premier dealerships literally lie to my face about prices but this didn't happen here. I have converted to Toyota as I was treated with total respect and left feeling confident in my purchase. Ask for Dom and tell him his new favorite customer sent you. You won't be disappointed that's for sure.

The whole process was a stress-free from the start. Started off working with Greg via email before going in last weekend for a test drive. No pressure. No sales pitch. He helped track down the exact 4Runner I was looking for at a great price. They even handled my trade-in payoff with Volvo. Ryan Laws got us in and out of finance in less than 10 minutes. I never thought buying a car could be stress free and hassle free. I couldn't recommend Family Toyota of Burleson enough. By far the best dealership in DFW and probably the only one that lives up to all it's positive reviews. Big thanks again to Greg and Ryan. I love my new 4Runner!

That being said this was my first auto loan and I walked in there with all honesty, as far as how much I had down. They offered me a 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan and I had expressed my situation to a young lady, Alyssa and the older Middle Eastern man Tariq Elfauri. I drove off the lot in that vehicle on August 28th, and on October 20 2025 it was repossessed from my job. I was told at the dealership that they were going to give me a month to make my car payment. They claimed and never got it, the date was repossessed I made an additional payment of 480 and they still refused to reinstate my loan. Tariq also HIT MY CREDIT REPORT WITH THE REPOSSESSED and I've heard from "Deontye" that he basically blacklisted me from getting another car with anyone else. The day that I was able to go to the dealership and get my things out of the car a man introduced himself as Deontye and claimed he was helping me get my car back.. it's now December 15 and that has not been the case. I'm obviously going to get a lawyer involved. Watch out. This entire thing was a whole scam. Im sure they are all in on it. I'm very embarrassed and upset but I wanted to share so no one else falls for this crap. I heard from Deontye there's 20 REPOSSESSION cars right now and some other lady came up there crying about her car being repo'ed. If you're already in a hard spot.. don't trust them. And I'm going to say it because it was told to ME that they prey on POC. Do not fucking get a car through them!!!

Came all the way from Waco to look at a used vehicle, had an appointment, confirmed the appointment, and showed up when I said I would. When we got there MaryAnn was in the vehicle on her phone giving me a call to let me know someone else had walked in 5 minutes before I arrived and said that I now had to wait for them to look at the vehicle and look at numbers before I was allowed to look at numbers. Apparently 2 people can't look at number on the same vehicle at one time. We asked to speak to the manager and the used car manger came out and told us that we could look at numbers if we wanted to. We told him we had gone to the wrong building in order to find MaryAnn and the manger said the people who showed up before us got there before us. Then proceeded to cuss us out as me and my son walked back to our truck. "Get the f**k off my lot then" We left and we to talk to the General Sales Manager and he said we could look at numbers and said "Well I don't want to waste y'all's time." He told us if we both were looking at numbers the other people who got there before us would have to say no to the numbers before we could say yes. Newsflash if we both looked at numbers and they said yes. IT WOULD'VE WASTED OUR TIME SO DON'T SAY YOU DON'T WANT TO WASTE OUR TIME. I understand you can't hold a vehicle but at least it should have been the other way around. IF ANYTHING the other people should've been informed we were coming and WE SHOULD'VE HAD FIRST CALL. Absolutely ridiculous stay far away from this dealership and go to the one in your town.

There are a few chairs to sit down and some desks to fill out your paperwork. They also have a Smart TV with a dynamic picture setting installed in the wall. When I say recommended, I mean pushed on us. My son had the car for about 50 days when he was driving home on the freeway at night. The car completely lost power. As in, it just quit. On the freeway. In the fast lane. He had to fight it to get it out of the lane of traffic into the emergency lane and not wreck. We had it towed to our family mechanic (Caliber Auto Care) who had never dealt with the warranty company before. This is how it started, our mechanic put a camera into the engine and discovered a HOLE in the engine, which was absolutely dry of any oil. As in dry for so long there is no way it wasn't like that when we bought it, and this is what our mechanic said. No way it was my son's fault. This 2008 Toyota had had an ENGINE recall that was never fixed. Hertel sold us a car with an ENGINE RECALL and didn't say a word about it so that WE could address it. That year's model Toyota had a manufacturer defect that caused the rubber seals to allow all the oil to leak out and cause... A rod to break off and puncture the engine. It threw a rod. Now this warranty company immediately requested we pay for the mechanic to drop the oil pan ($600). So we did. They finally sent an adjuster, who asked us to authorize and pay for the bottom oil pan to be dropped. Our mechanic explained that we didn't need to do that for him to see the hole, with the camera. The mechanic said he would never need to drop the bottom oil pan and that it was apparently the warrant company's way of chipping away at the cost and push it off onto us. Now we called Hertel and told them what had happened. They sold us a complete LEMON, and on top of that talked us into buying an extended warranty from a company with shady tactics. We were never told by the salesman that there was a cap on repair costs, only that they would cover the whole drive train for another 50k miles. Now, Hertel has just left us hanging with what amounted to an $11k (warranty and TTL) paper weight. That could have gotten my son in a bad car wreck. Do not trust this dealership. Most certainly do not buy the extended warranty plan they are PUSHING on you. They prey on working people here.

I am a lifetime customer of RLB Sales because of my experience with Jeff Crawford. I have bought or leased 8 cars from him and he's never steered me wrong. Jeff is a straight talker, is wide open about how his financing works, and can find literally *anything*. Maybe the best way to illustrate is with some stories. I wanted a 350z several years ago and Jeff found one for me in Plainview, TX. The cost of having it driven to DFW would have added about $1,000 to the price. So Jeff insisted I work directly with the dealership in Plainview to save that money and brokered the whole deal for me, working out a dealer-to-dealer cost price. He even negotiated to have a guy from the dealership meet me at the airport with the car so I could look at it and decide if I wanted it (it was love at first sight, of course). Unbelievable. When buying a Nissan Rogue from him for my +1, he advised us to go with the lower trimline for $5K less, then add the sunroof and leather after market for $1,500. I asked if he could add a kicker box, which he put in and rolled it into the financing (less than $5 difference in the payment). My son needed a first car and Jeff had a trade-in 2014 Honda Fit that had hail damage for under $4K. He *loves* the car. Have I made my point yet? If you've driven down Camp Bowie, you've past the lot at the corner of Byant Irvin. Drop in to see Jeff and tell him I sent you!
