I did a quick search for a Scotiabank. I found this one a block away. Perfect! It was a soggy, rainy afternoon. I drove over to this plaza. It has seen better days. There was a massive store that had shuttered for good across from this branch. I couldn't tell what it used to be. I backed into a parking spot steps away from the main entrance. I walked into the branch to use an ABM. This bank does not have a drive-thru. This branch's lobby was bright and clean. I found three ABMs to my left. I used one of them and withdrew some cash. I have a Tangerine bank card, which works at any Scotiabank ABM. I got my cash. I was happy. The branch was closed for the day, but there were some staff there, likely wrapping things up before calling it a day. I had a good experience here. If I need cash and am in the area, I'd return to this branch. (124)

The bank had a drive-thru. I typically use it to do banking when I'm in the vicinity…read more The drive-thru is narrow and different. You go through a building and around to get to the ATM. You also lose satellite reception if you have a satellite radio. So, I wanted to withdraw money at the drive-thru's ATM. It was out of service. Instead, I parked my car in front of the bank and walked in. It had just closed at 16:00 on a Saturday afternoon. There are two ATMs. The bank is clean and the machines were operational. It's roomy and straightforward. The ABM has always been operational when I stop by. I have yet to experience any issues (knock on wood!). After attending a fun Yelp elite event the other night in Newmarket, I remembered that I needed to make a deposit. I stopped by this drive-thru, got an envelope, stuffed it with funds, and deposited it effortlessly. There is plenty of parking in this plaza if you do need to go into the branch. I like this branch. I am not Happy with your Services for the following reasons…read more..... 1, First, (Wade Power) Claims Advisor - Client Relation Centre or the appraiser don't check the proof of recent repair attached file , They gave final value price without even check/ look at my file , this tells me that no one cares or response , or do the job properly or right. 2, The appraiser sent out wrong information which I don't even repair ( maybe looking on someone's else file) giving me wrong information, poor service. 3, I take time to the documents and highlighted the attached document to show you how much it costs me to change the parts , I provided all the requirement documents from Canadian tire a proof , again no one's care and no one looks at it. I have been with State Farm Insurance for several years and cannot think of a better company out…read morethere. Several years ago (when living in downtown Toronto), my house was broken into. This company was fantastic and had my claim settled quickly. I even got a phone call from a record store advising me that State Farm had sent them a cheque and for me to pop down and start rebuilding my cd collection. Just recently, my car was sideswiped by someone trying to park next to me in a city parking lot. I was parked at the time. I called my insurance company and the next day I got a call from a body repair shop advising me that state farm had contacted them and for me to bring my car in for an estimate. They even assisted in arranging for a rental car during the repair period. Great company....everyone I've dealt with has been stellar and informative.
