After I had picked up some takeout for dinner, I came over to this drive-thru to use the ATM. This branch used to be across the street, on the northwest corner of the intersection, next to CIBC. I always found it interesting seeing two banks next to each other with drive-thrus. They have finally been separated. I liked the lane as you approached the ATM. It was roomy and nicely designed. There was a car in front of me. When I got to use the ATM, the experience was great. I made a cash deposit. The machine scanned my bill correctly. I had a great experience here. I don't bank often with RBC. When I do and am in the area, I'd return to use the ATM again. (64)

Rude, unhelpful and under-qualified…read more Aesthetically this is a nice branch. My family financial adviser has been working here for many years so we frequent this branch. I needed to do some investment redemptions for brother hence the visit. For context, I've worked in retail banking as a teller and advisor for many years so I have a much more critical eye. I've worked for TD Canada Trust and we've adhered to a high standard of service delivered to our clients. Anyways, the advisor that saw us (I'll keep his name confidential... since everyone needs to work) was not warm, not welcoming and had us sit in silence as he rebooted his computer. It was very awkward. Then he proceeded to tell his that he didn't get his lunch because of back to back appointments... We needed to redeem a GIC - basically child's play but he didn't know where to find the transactional breakdown of the investment and had to cal customer service. My brother tried to explain to him how to find it because he was here a week ago and the advisor kept talking over him, it was just rude at this point. I also asked him about some fee reversals that were valid and he bluntly said that they don't do that. When I said that I worked for TD and it can be done under these circumstances he said "this isn't TD". After a lot of back and forth he went to get his manager to complete our transaction and came back to say that the manager isn't in and we should go to another branch. I was livid, we just wasted 1.5 hours here with this rude and confused man. I asked for an appointment with the manager for the next day and he refused. Saying that he couldn't do that... again another request that was possible. Needless to say we left unsatisfied, unfulfilled and disrespected. I've never received such bad service from a financial advisor.

There are 2 Green Machines available 24-7 to complete self-serve financial transactions. Full counter services are available by queuing up between the railings; I always disliked being treated like an animal but it keeps others from jumping in front of me...so I'll get over it. I've been a life-long TD Bank client even before it merged with Canada Trust; Branch hours and access to Green Machines being at the top of my list! Today, I had to meet with a financial products rep to make an adjustment to an account. Sophia provided excellent, friendly and prompt customer service!

You deposit them and you get the USD amount is either printed on a paper receipt or displayed on the screen. It'll take a couple of business days for that amount to be converted to CAD and settled as a deposit to your account. Earlier today, I was walking over to Starbucks from Sunset Grill at Eagles Landing Plaza in Vaughan. This RBC branch was next door to Starbucks. I decided to check it out. The branch closes at 4 pm on Saturday. I had roughly ten minutes left before it closed for the weekend. The branch looked like it was about to close. This branch has three ATMs. Two are in the branch. One is at the drive-thru. I didn't use any of them, as I didn't need to do any transactions. The ones in the branch were operational There was a person in the branch, sitting down, looking at her phone. I couldn't tell if she was a customer or a staff member. She did look bored. The branch hours are decent. It's open at 9:30 am most days, except for Saturdays when it's open at 9am. This branch is closed on Sundays. This branch closes most days at 5 pm. It stays open late on Thursdays until 8 pm and Fridays till 6 pm. As mentioned, it closes at 4 pm on Saturdays. This RBC is wheelchair-accessible. There is a button to open the door. The sidewalk allows you to roll up and down it to get to the branch, which is helpful. It's a decent branch. It was nice getting a brief look at it. (75)

Dylan sits at a desk helping customers in person or on the phone and if there is a line-up to see a teller and you're lucky you will be invited to sit down at his desk and he will assist you. Banks have a reputation of putting their interests first but Dylan puts the customer first. I needed to make a cash withdrawal and through this Dylan noticed we had a significant amount in our savings account at a low interest rate. He let me know that there was a promotion where we could earn 5% and set me up and explained that it was time limited but to see him when it expired. From then on I have referred to him as my "Personal Banker" and he has helped us out many other times. Dylan's strong customer service orientation builds loyalty and we would highly recommend the Hillcrest BMO branch.

I got a prime parking spot and made my way inside the branch. I held the door for an older gentleman. He thanked me and we had a brief conversation. I liked it, as it makes you feel like it's a small neighbourhood of folks looking out for one another. This branch has four ATMs. I was impressed! No waiting at all. Both the gentleman and I did our banking there, along with an existing customer pressing away at the screen. This branch is huge and inviting! It makes me want to call this branch my home one. (212)

I can see how the manager and the staffs feel so excited and proud of this sparkling new location! Lines are never too long... but I usually just prefer using the Instant Teller. The staffs here are always helpful and some of them have been working here for a long long time! Though not open on Sundays, for Sunday banking go visit the branch at McCowan and Bullock!

Got a parking spot right out front, as the bank wasn't open yet. Went in, did my transaction to withdraw $100....bank machine gave me $40....didn't give me a receipt. As there were staff members mulling about inside the bank...I knocked on the glass security wall and over an employee came. She said that they weren't open yet. I explained to her what happened and she said that they weren't open yet and that I would have to come back. I told her that I was not leaving until the bank confirmed that only $40 was withdrawn from my account, and not the full $100. She then told me to look at my receipt....to which I responded that if I had gotten one, that would have been what I did in the first place. She then stated again that I would have to come back and I again said no....without some sort of assurance that only $40 came out of my account. She opened the glass wall wide enough for me to insert my card to pass to her.....then she passed it to one of the tellers for verification. She came back...opened the door wide enough to pass my card back to me and stated that only $40 was withdrawn from my account. I thanked her and left. I like that you can use the drive-thru ATM without any around-the-building or strange curves that can potentially ruin the left side of your car. I don't recall ever having any issues at the ATM. It's always functional when I have needed to use it. The only downside is that once you are done with the drive-thru ATM, you have to head out on the road. If you want to shop at the other stores within the strip mall, you need to cycle back. With the bank located in a strip mall, there is plenty of parking. (15)

Last Sunday, I was out and about. It was rare for me for a Sunday…read more I went to a small business expo. I had paid one vendor in cash. I needed to replenish my wallet with more cash. I did a search and found this Scotiabank. I decided to check it out. It's in a small plaza that this bank shares with a pub and a bunch of smaller businesses in a two-storey building. I parked and walked into the branch. There were two ABMs. I took the one closer to the teller side of the branch, which wasn't open. I got my cash and was happy. The cool feature of the ABM that I used was that I could chose the cash denominations. I haven't see that feature since I was at a Royal Bank and I could get $5 denominations when I lived in Winnipeg. My local Scotiabank branch does not have this feature. These days, bill denominations start at $20 at many ABMs. This Scotiabank does not have a drive-thru. It makes sense because this plaza is tiny. Some male customer decided to park his car in front of the branch. It wasn't a parking spot. I waited for this guy to move before I could pull out from where my car was parked. I had a good ABM experience here. I'd return when I'm in need of an ABM and am in the area. (373)

I would've given it a five star if the space was huge i just don't like having a conversation with a representative and when I'm talking the other guests right next to me keeps chatting so I can't hear anything from our conversation. I prefer more spacing or dividers on the each side.
