The sales space itself is in an exposed brick 2nd floor unit. The focus of this boutique is locally designed accessories and clothing as well as independent labels. Some pieces are designed by the owner, Audrise. She also carries items by two sisters that recycle vintage Japanese obi into hair clips, cards, and wallets. The selection for men wasn't very large, though she said that there will be more later. Audrise also made some of the men's pants. The prices might seem steep, but if you consider that you won't run into every 5th person in the same mass-produced article it is on par or even cheaper than some chains (read: Anthropologie and the like). Audrise was super friendly without being ingratiating. She even recommended some products from a nearby Ballard store. This will be my new place to go for unique apparel & necklaces (also fashioned by the owner).

There's also an extremely well curated selection of American and European designers but the influence is heavily on Japan. They're the only retailer I've ever visited that carries Kapital Boro designs. There were also offerings from Moncler, Thom Browne, Dior and a bunch of others, all ultra high end. Everything is in mint condition and merchandized in a way that makes selection easy. This is a must go to anyone visiting Seattle who has a penchant for all things Japan, Euro or American fashion. I called Heart to inquire about exchanging or returning the garment (unworn, pristine condition, all tags attached) for credit and was told absolutely not, I should "consider gifting the clothing to a friend".
