I needed new business clothing now that we are starting to see clients in person again at my company and I reached out to Jeff after several recommendations from some of his current and past clients that I know. Jeff was able to meet me at my office and take the measurements needed and recommend some styles and fabrics as well as color combinations for me. The items came exactly in the time frame he had estimated them to and they looked fantastic. I cannot recommend Jeff and My Haberdasher enough. If you're in need of a haberdasher for work or a special occasion I would highly recommend My Haberdasher and Mr. Collins!

I wound up changing a handful of small details such as the shirt I was wearing as our venue decorations changed so this isn't 100% the suit I got. Jeff's attention to detail though was fantastic and my changes certainly don't reflect on him or the quality of this suit which is impeccable. I spoke with a few bespoke suit places and Jeff just got my style the best. While other suits were beautiful, I think the small details Jeff payed attention to and some of his designs for the more modern person. Pockets for days! Jeff was super friendly, accommodating and helpful. My lady requested a swatch of fabric to help tie together the Father's and best man's suit with mine and he was able to accommodate. All in all...I highly suggest giving Jeff a try. He was great and look forward to the next one.

Sew Generously falls firmly into the latter category. From my very first consultation to the final fitting, every aspect of the experience was outstanding. The entire team was welcoming, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about their craft. It was immediately apparent that this was not simply about making clothing - it was about creating garments that reflect the individual wearing them. The level of expertise and attention to detail throughout the process was remarkable. Every recommendation was thoughtful, every question was answered thoroughly, and every fitting demonstrated an incredible commitment to achieving perfection. At no point did I feel rushed. Instead, I felt like I was collaborating with true artisans who cared just as much about the finished product as I did. The suit they created for me exceeded every expectation I had. We designed a classic three-piece suit featuring fuller drape-style trousers and a longer coat inspired by timeless tailoring traditions. The finished result is elegant, distinctive, comfortable, and exceptionally well-balanced. The fit is unlike anything I have experienced from off-the-rack clothing, and every detail reflects the skill and craftsmanship that went into its creation. The fabric itself deserves special recognition. I selected a featherweight flannel that is simply extraordinary. It has a beautiful drape, incredible comfort, and a luxurious feel while remaining versatile enough to wear throughout much of the year. The way the fabric moves and complements the overall design is something that can only truly be appreciated in person. Equally impressive was the custom dress shirt they created for me. The fit is absolutely flawless, the construction is exceptional, and it is easily one of the finest and most comfortable dress shirts I have ever worn. It pairs perfectly with the suit and serves as another example of the attention to detail and commitment to quality that defines Sew Generously. What impressed me most, however, was how personal the entire experience felt. The team took the time to understand not only my measurements, but also my preferences, my style, and how I wanted the finished garment to look and feel. The result was not just a suit and shirt, it was clothing that felt uniquely mine. In an era where so much of the world has shifted toward mass production and convenience, Sew Generously offers something increasingly rare: genuine craftsmanship, exceptional service, and a level of care that is difficult to find anywhere else. I am genuinely grateful to have found Sew Generously. They have earned a customer for life. In fact, I am already planning my next suit, and my wife and I will be returning this summer to begin designing a custom winter overcoat for her so it will be ready when the colder weather arrives. To the entire Sew Generously team: thank you for creating not only the finest suit and dress shirt I have ever owned, but also one of the most enjoyable and rewarding customer experiences I have had anywhere. I look forward to many years - and many garments - to come.

For the second fitting the suit was still 1-2 sizes too large. They then let me know that unfortunately there was not enough time to do another round of alterations before the wedding. So all the wedding photos are of me in a ill fitting suit. Was the suit terrible? No. But, did it fit? Also no. After the wedding they offered to do yet another set of alterations, this time with a different attendant, who did a much better job on making the suit fit. Photos are of the arms to show how much extra fabric there was after they did alterations, compared to the final suit I got post wedding.

All of their dresses were lovely but they only had what felt like a few simple but lovely elegant to choose from which is what I was looking for When I landed on the dress that I liked the most (out of the ones that I wanted to try on) I suddenly felt very pressured to purchase it by my fitter. In hindsight it was the wrong dress and I should have been at least encouraged to think on it and come back for such a big purchase but was not. I ended up buying the dress and was pushed to buy a veil without being told it was $500! (Until i was handed the bill). It unfortunately continues, as most of those buying a wedding dress, this was my first time. I had tried many things on but only ordered once. I trusted my fitter and she asked if I wanted it "a little" smaller or "a little bigger" I obviously went with a little bigger only to receive a dress that was HUGE. I later found out that most places order to your largest size and don't take into account the style of dress you picked and you just have to trust the stylist to help advise. I have a small chest and waist but wide hips and if I chose a form fitting dress my largest size would be needed but I chose a ballgown. So I took home a dress that could absolutely not be worn and had to be fitted so much that the top hardly resembles what I bought. Looking back the vibe was great and the people were nice but it was missing the guidance and support that I think is needed for wedding dress shopping. You typically only do it once or twice and it is made such a large deal there should be space to think about things and also know what is being organized.
